Been a delight watching the entire Gizz lineup slowly transform from 'great garage rock musicians' to 'some of the best in the modern rock scene'. They're getting better, more inventive, and clearly still having a blast at what they do. A winning combination
38:43 Proof that Cavs indeed is not a human. This is super impressive - not just in terms of muscle control and stamina, but also in terms of rhythm. This is pure insanity.
Then I suggest you to listen to Mario Duplantier's drum work in 'The art of dying', 'The Heaviest Matter of the Universe', or maybe the pinnacle (in my opinion) of his resistance in 'From The Sky'. Check them out. There are more people that will blow your head out, or what?, you need something "actual"? Why do people idolize this guy so much?!
Alex Rudinger, Tomas Haake, Matt Garstka, Eloy Casagrande and others annihilate this guy in: creativity, performance and technical skill. I invite you to listen to some of their work. You won't be disappointed.
Really, dude! Virgil Donati, Thomas Lang, Danny Carey, Tony Royster, Ricardo Merlini, George Kollias, Aric Improta or Chris Turner outplays this guy! And those are only ALIVE drummers; the list would never end if I mention dead drummers. Please, educate yourself.
@i_want_my_shuggah first of all, you ever hear of autocorrect. My phone made the dumb decision of changing it from Danny to Daney, so my bad. Second, you're an idiot. Many drummers are inspired by each other, so who cares who's better than who. Danny carey is inspired by Neil peart, is Neil eons ahead?!?! Answer: IT DOESNT MATTER! Both have made incredible music for their genre, and it's the same for Cavs. King gizzard is the best modern rock band and cavs deserves respect
@@i_want_my_shuggah and yet not a single album before this was compared to too, despite every single album having of time signatures. This album has heavy tool influence in the psychedelic breaks on songs such as 'Motor Spirit' or 'Dragon'. Not just in the swirling tribal sounding drums, but the chords are very characteristic of Tool, and uncharacteristic of King Gizzard. You cannot tell me that the break in 'Dragon' doesn't have Maynard's vocal style in the "stop the dragon" part.

@@i_want_my_shuggah Mario is so good
@@PVZLegend67 he declared he lost some skill since Magma. He actually can't play certain songs.
do you think Cavs is ever scared of his own talent? listening to this and his self-titled solo album has convinced me this guy is on another level
Cavs Tom work in motor spirit is ethereal. Working on another level.
Cavs HAS to be a robot wearing human skin surely
Cavs is purple guy - FNAF confirmed???
@@jus_squee I was thinking more Terminator but that works

Cavs is the best drummer alive right now
I'd give that role to Matt Garstka, but Cavs is incredible!!!!

Reminds me of a combo of Nick Menza and Danny Carey!!!! Cavs is a genius
Are you okay? Those men are eons ahead of this guy.
You can't even write TOOL's drummer name correctly!
