This is like if Sense was on IDPLMAL. Combining that sound with this song is something I never knew I needed. I've always thought that Paper Mache Dream Balloon songs would probably sound great with electric instrumentation as well, but this is even better than I could have imagined.
If you haven’t already, check out the dirt demo. It’s amazing. PMDB actually didn’t start out as an acoustic album. Stu says that they wanted to make an album of just songs instead of another grand concept album like they had been doing. It was only till later they decided to also go acoustic with it. So your instincts are correct!
I was there! This and Magenta Mountain to Grim Reaper were the highlights of the show with a super strong set list all together. And the lighting upgrade from last year made a huge difference in the spectacle of it all
I was at all of these shows and keep watching your videos with the biggest grin on my face being able to relive some of these moments. Phenomenal work on all of these and THANK YOU for sharing with us all!
This is the best song of the US 2023 tour I think, and I was at 7 shows. her and i, am i in heaven?, head/on pill teases, iron lung quote (frog breath), straws in the wind quotes over that unknown tease that they have been doing at other shows. also its fucking Sense.
