Cam Newton has the real rushing TD record. No disrespect to Hurts.
That Sam Hartman pick at 7 was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good for you shad tellin them weirdos off abt telling you what to do we aren’t ppl of just one interest and you can do whatever you want.
What's the time stamp???
@@jospehamcmillian8998 At the very beginning of the pod, the guys were talking about music and the current rap beefs, and ppl in the chat were telling them “Nobody cares” and “Get on with business”.
Seems like any live stream you tune in to you get some goofies who theyre in control of the stream
I think you all should keep doing the mock drafts - you guys know our team.
I hope our draft strategy is less about a position and more about supporting Bryce
Its about BPA
Bro Jacob cowing is getting slept on. He’s shifty and an underneath expert for Bryce. And we can get him late. Address edge, corner, center, interior dlineman, linebacker, and then Jacob cowing.
I’ll say this PNP I found yall looking for panthers draft content a few years ago and while there’s a lot of people doing it nowadays yall were/are the best would love to see it make a come back next draft season but if it doesn’t it’s ok
I appreciate this comment fam! We may run it back next year. There is/was a lot going to personally (good things), it has to make sense.
There’s a major time investment covering all the prospects.
@@PantherNationPodcast completely understand. Y’all got a life outside of PNP regardless y’all’s content is excellent so I’m here for it. Keep doing it the way yall do and as the motto goes keep pounding.
Interesting like the idea of trading back
I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers draft a Safety this draft most of the safties we have are free agents after this upcoming season.
I’ve said this EVERYWHERE and I’ll say it again THIS is how our draft should go:
Pick 33 - WR
I prefer AD Mitchell if he’s there but if not I’ll settle for Ladd McConkey who gives me Cooper Kupp vibes. If a WR I like is not at pick 33 we should trade that pick for Tee Higgins, Brandon Aiyuk or Cortland Sutton since it’s essentially a 1st round pick
Pick 39 - CB
Jaycee Horn is a good player but is unable to stay healthy we need a CB as insurance for him in case he gets injured again. If Nate Wiggins was to fall at 33 or 39 you gotta take him but if not I’ll settle for a Max Melton if he’s there. I don’t trust Dane Jackson as our #2 CB he’s a #4 CB a guy who comes in when our #1 or #2 CB is hurt
Pick 65 - Center
If Jackson Powers Johnson is on the board at 33 YOU PICK HIM! Then take the WR at 39. But if he’s not there we can look at Zack Frazier, Sedrick Van Pran or Beaux Limmer. We need someone who can provide competition or start because I don’t trust Corbett as our Center because his injury history
Pick 101 - TE
Someone like Sanders from Texas would be nice because he’s the #2 TE on the board but if he’s not there Theo Johnson from Penn State has been compared to Jimmy Graham I would like him or Ben Sinnott out of Kansas State is good too
Pick 141 - Best LB or RB available
We shouldn’t forget about DEF so if a good LB is here why not take him? Also if a RB like Braelen Allen is here why not take him?
Pick 142 - Best EDGE, DT or DE available
Just a young guy to add in the rotation for depth. We don’t need an EDGE at pick 33 or 39 because the EDGES available are ROTATIONAL GUYS we don’t need to draft a rotational guy high. A lot of fellow Panthers fans are delusional and lack football IQ in my opinion
Pick 240 - Developmental CB, SS or FS
A guy I would like here is Qwan’tez Stiggers who played CB in the CFL. He has experience against NFL caliber players and he’s young why not take a shot on him? At worst he’s a special teams guy at best he’s our future #2 or #3 CB and the definition of a STEAL in the draft. We can also look at a developmental safety because our current safeties are on 1 yr deals so he has the perfect opportunity to be a future starter for us or at worst a special teams guy
I’ve watched a lot of Panthers content over the last few days and what a lot of y’all are NOT understanding is that Pick 33, Pick 39 & Pick 65 need to be IMMEDIATE STARTERS FOR US!
Diontae Johnson is a #2 WR at best and Adam Theilen is a #3 WR at best we need a possible #1 WR that’s why I want AD Mitchell or trade that pick for Tee Higgins, Brandon Aiyuk or Cortland Sutton. Even if we take Ladd McConkey at 33 he at least is our future #2 or #3 WR so it would be FOOLISH to not take a WR at 33 or 39
The reason I suggested CB at 39 because of Jaycee Horn if he does stay healthy do you really trust Dane Jackson as a #2 CB? I don’t but if Nate Wiggins falls to 33 or Max Melton is there at 39 why not pick them?
Pick 65 I suggest a Center because I don’t trust Corbett. If JPJ is at 33 I’ll take him but if not we can get a Zack Frazier, Beaux Limmer or Sedrick Van Pran at 65 who will at best be our starting Center or at worst our future starter so it’s a win-win
Picks 33, 34 and 65 must be starters so drafting an EDGE at either of these picks is DUMB since the EDGES available are ROTATIONAL GUYS not STARTERS so why waste those picks on rotational guys? We got to think LOGICALLY not EMOTIONALLY
when yall going to talk about the Panthers
I'm rollin wirh the aces
If there is a run on wr and need to trade up to get lad or brian thomas or AD Mitchell i am all for it. 33 to 25 for one of our late rounds
For the record, some people wanted to hear their opinion about things outside of football. If you don't like it, fast forward and stop complaining.
I see a scenario that the patriots draft Harrison at 3 and look to give us a haul for that 32 pick to draft Maye, Penix or Bo. Those guys going drop as the rest of the team aren’t as QB hungry
Id fleece them for next years 1st and this years 3rd.
To move back from the 33rd pick we would need to get a 3rd in 2024 and a 2nd in 2025 which we don’t have currently.
Legette is an instant starter in the nfl panthers should pick him
Legette would absolutely struggle in an offense based on Slants and timing routes, all of Leggettes plays were down field, Bryce does not have an arm like Spencer Rattler. We need dudes who are jitter bugs like Mcconkey and Franklin. Young has never played with a big boddied guy ever in his career.
I'm coming in late..listening at work the day after. I'll have to push back on that TE late debate. I think Ben Sinnot and even Dallen Hoker I think is his name dude from CSU is better than Stephen Sullivan..I like them
AD Mitchell falls to pick 33🙏🏽
Here for the rap beef 😂!
Lad will always be open
Shad scared me until he said both disses were mid lol. Can’t wait for round 2
Bruh… I keep it 💯. I grew up in a different era. Kendrick had mid bars on a dope track. Drake responded to everything Kendrick said plus had some bars for other folks.
Round 1 goes to Drake (Like That vs Push ups)
@@PantherNationPodcast I give him props for responding to everybody and baiting Kendrick to drop...because Dot has to deliver.
People are going to cry when its JPJ at 33 and Legette at 39, but its all but written at this point. Not a huge fan of legette because he does not separate at the point of the snap very well, but whatever.
JPJ is no brainer at 33
Mannnn it took Drake yearssss to respond. Close to a decade! Kendrick been coming at Drake. Lol. He can most definitely take his time.
If he been going at him for 10 years.. he should have had something ready to go.
It’s like you been waiting to talk to a girl forever… she finally acknowledges your presence and you freeze up.
I agree with the statement that drafting for a starter center in the 2nd is a requirement. Corbett can play multiple positions. Draft a designated center in the second and start him. The Panthers have the worst record in trading up. It would be the biggest mistake this draft.
I think y’all might be overestimating the value of Thielen at this point. Dude is going to be 34 years old to start the season. He was already slow AF last season. We need to go into the draft as if we only have 1 starting caliber WR.
We need to go in as if we have no receivers, and that Johnson was a one year rental on a prove it one year deal.
As for the WR discussion, I would absolutely be intrigued in Ja'Lynn Polk for pick 65. One of the best hands for a WR in this class
If it’s not a day 1 impact player you don’t trade up
Heat in 5
I knew chubba was better than miles chubbas burst is elite
Why would anyone go Edge when guys like Chop Robinson would be a 3rd or 4th round pick in next years class of Edge Rushers. Go get Landon Jackson next year at edge and we are set for the next decade.
Or stick it to Sean Payton because they need a QB and doesn’t have a 1st round pick, take their future 1st and a 3rd
Man for me sinnott is TE 2. To me Theo is cool and all but dude has a worst turning radius than a semi
Kinda lost me when Ladd gets compared to Johnson and you want Ladd. Tf we need two of the same player for. Give me a Mitchell or Leggett
NO XAVIER LEGETTE!!!! No! No! No!
I’m sick and tired of us drafting “big body” WRs who struggle to separate. We tried that with Kelvin Benjamin, Dwayne Jarrett and Johnathan Mingo NO MORE!!!!
If you want a “big body” WR I rather us get Adonai Mitchell because he can separate OR trade pick 33 for Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins or Cortland Sutton who are EXPERIENCED taller WRs who have proven to separate at an elite level.
If we draft another “big body” and it fails I’m going to be ANGRY as fuck. No more “big body” rookie WRs
@@A.Nel2684 you don’t get 1,200 yds without getting separation.
@@BraedonStoreyI disagree… And Xavier Legette has ONE YEAR OF PRODUCTION!!!!
NFL pro corners are BETTER than the college players he’s playing against so NO I don’t want Xavier Legette or Keon Coleman
Because Johnson is on under contract for 1 year. There is no guarantee that he stays in Carolina.
Michell likely will not fall to the 2nd.
@@PantherNationPodcast Okay but you still didn’t address what I said too which is if AD Mitchell or Ladd McConkey is NOT there at 33 we can trade the pick for Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins or Cortland Sutton which is doable since most of the WRs got traded for less this year. Pick 33 is a 1st round pick essentially so why say no to that possibility?
You advertised football talk, not dance recital.Oh and rapper talk give the people what they won't or get no writings
i think tremble should be TE 1 no need to draft a TE
Tremble is NOT a #1 TE he’s a #2 at best
@@A.Nel2684 Tremble is definitely underrated. he had one of the highest catch rates on the team. and he has more TD's than kyle pitts and hes good for yards after catch he was also the leading reciever in our best game last year. so how is he only a #2 " at best" ?
These draft takes a just painful to listen to
Are you a draft expert? Or do you have a channel that we can check out to see if you are a draft guru? If not please be quiet, some of you dudes just come around just to be hating
@@bamos8729I know a very good amount to know these takes are dumb we shit. Get off your knees for the stupidity. You are embarrassing
@@bamos8729you don’t gotta simp for guys who are clearly not good at this topic lol it’s ok little guy
15 mins in and haven’t heard anything about the panthers draft strategy. Lots of rap beefs, taking kids to disney, daughters college choice, HBC admissions stats, and even you being upset about your viewers asking you to talk football. Unsubscribing
