Honestly speaking, they really helped me deal with both task 1 and task two. I suggest checking out their writing videos, be it the one that tells you about mistakes to avoid, or the one that uses an actual case to show you how to improve your essay. But I have to say that real improvement in writing comes down to practice, that is, writing every day and writing all the time. Good luck with your upcoming test. ✌️💪

Hello Chris , I want to thank you for your guidance and I wanted to take your course but I couldn’t afford it but today my IELTS result came and I got L: 8, R: 7.5, W: 7, S: 6.5 and overall 7.5 band and without your guidance that I got from RUclips it wouldn’t have happened and the funny part about getting 6.5 in my speaking is on my test I couldn’t able to find where my test centre was I was completely lost taxi driver took me somewhere else and on top of that speaking was my first test and I reached just 5 minutes before my test sweating, tired from running and out of breath and they immediately told me to go for my speaking test, so I will advice my fellow test takers don’t do this mistake visit your test centre one day before your test or reach early on test day and FYI It was computer delivered test and it was my first attempt and Chris I followed each and every tip that you shared religiously and I am happy that I followed you for my preparation and your writing advice is amazing I still can’t believe I got 7 in my first attempt, Thank you again Chris you rock 😊☺️

I had my exam on June 30 and it wasn't like anything we see on RUclips channels generally. It's exactly like this video here. All other videos had a maximum of like 5-6 questions only in part 1. But this video is exactly how it was for me in real life. I wish you could have uploaded it a bit earlier. I was constantly interrupted not in a rude way but consecutively before I could finish a sentence properly. I think the examiner here is pretty calm and waiting for the speaker to finish her talk but this wasn't the case in my test. I think that created a feeling of unrest. The topics were vastly distorted like while talking about work suddenly I was asked about wildlife, handbags, water sport, natural resources, zoo, wind, school here and there....

Hello Chris, what happens if we don't understand one question (the question was sort of vague) but try our best to answer it, and the answer is not exactly what your examiner expected? How much does it affect on scoring?
While waiting for Chris to answer, I'd like to try to give an answer from my own opinion (as part of my practice for speaking test). If you feel the question is vague, you should try answering it anyway and not worrying too much. In worst case scenario, you'd lose some points on 1 of 4 aspects, which is the "fluency and coherence" aspect. But even if you give incoherent answer, you'd still have 3 other aspects to cover the scoring for that particular questions. You'll have other questions waiting. the overall scoring would be an average from these 4 aspects: - fluency and coherence - lexical resource (vocabulary) - grammar - pronunciation each of these aspects weights 25% on the overall score. so I would say no need to worry too much if you misinterprrtate 1 question, because there should be at least 10 questions per exam.

Not true. My wife is Japanese so I know what good Asian food is and what's bad. Even if you don't find a good restaurant here you can find the grocery shops to make whatever you want.

I had my exam on June 30 and it wasn't like anything we see on RUclips channels generally. It's exactly like this video here. All other videos had a maximum of like 5-6 questions only in part 1. But this video is exactly how it was for me in real life. I wish you could have uploaded it a bit earlier. I was constantly interrupted not in a rude way but consecutively before I could finish a sentence properly. I think the examiner here is pretty calm and waiting for the speaker to finish her talk but this wasn't the case in my test. I think that created a feeling of unrest. The topics were vastly distorted like while talking about work suddenly I was asked about wildlife, handbags, water sport, natural resources, zoo, wind, school here and there....

Hello Chris, what happens if we don't understand one question (the question was sort of vague) but try our best to answer it, and the answer is not exactly what your examiner expected? How much does it affect on scoring?
While waiting for Chris to answer, I'd like to try to give an answer from my own opinion (as part of my practice for speaking test).
If you feel the question is vague, you should try answering it anyway and not worrying too much.
In worst case scenario, you'd lose some points on 1 of 4 aspects, which is the "fluency and coherence" aspect. But even if you give incoherent answer, you'd still have 3 other aspects to cover the scoring for that particular questions. You'll have other questions waiting.
the overall scoring would be an average from these 4 aspects:
- fluency and coherence
- lexical resource (vocabulary)
- grammar
- pronunciation
each of these aspects weights 25% on the overall score.
so I would say no need to worry too much if you misinterprrtate 1 question, because there should be at least 10 questions per exam.
The problem is not only spekaing great . Also having good ideas and expres and having information about everything
You don’t need good ideas. Pick the easiest idea to talk about that answers the question, not the ‘best’ idea.
