Thank you as a fellow handywoman I don't always know how or what to do when a client calls and your videos are always my go-to thanks for teaching me something I didn't know
Fantastic video - probably saved me a few hundred dollars. My machine would not stop filling, did a search, found this video, used the diagnostic process he explains, found my model number and ordered the parts. The problem was the cold water but with a machine that is several years old, I went ahead and ordered the hot water one as well. Took me maybe 30 minutes to replace both once the parts arrived. Worked perfectly.
Probably too late to even ask a question on this very helpful video, but we have the same unit and when set to COLD wash we find the clothes and drum very warm at the end of the COLD wash cycle. I’m checking to make sure the water lines are connected correctly, but any other ideas if they’re correct? You’re VERY VERY helpful and so easy to understand. Thanks very much.
hey bearded appliance thank you i ran into your you tube site and you are an excellent instructor and i definitely subscribed. Happy Thanksgiving! God bless you and your family .
Wow this was so helpful , I have the samsung wf330anw/xaa-01 and it flooded the laundry room , even unplugged the water was coming out front and back , i had to shut the main off since the water valve behind unit was frozen…now I know how to fix it .. thanks so much
I was gonna mention just that, it’s a great vid tutorial but fail to inform about the Lint trap, how it should be checked and drained monthly for proper maintenance and reduce error messages.
Thanks for the video, I have a similar model and I was in doubt if it was the water valve or the main board. Mine has the same issue, the water keeps going in even with the power unplugged.
My issue is an OC error which I believe is an Over Capacity but same issue with it running when off, and the tub now slowly fills when not in use. I can only run a successful load on Quick cycle and the others features are useless as they give errors. 😢 Question is do I get the Four Valve one? As it has a Prewash/wash/bleach/softener fill compartments
Will the warranty companies send my new company work, with no brand certs and just opening? Looking for your thoughts on that when they ask in the contractor forms. Should I work my company for a year before applying to warranty companies? I'd like to apply now and get work now. What do you think? Thanks for your input.
I got started with warranty companies. They require proof of insurance general liability and commercial auto and stuff so make sure you have that information. They need a lot of them need companies to work for them so I bet you will be able to get them to send you some work. You want yo build up you cash call base. That is 90% of what i do now. Worst part of warranty companies is the amount of time you have to wait to get paid. Most are at least a month after the job is finished. The worst I had was 30 business day which is like a a month and a half. Good thing about warranty calls is the work is usually easy. Like ice maker change outs of infinite switches or elements in ovens. Easy work for the most part. Apply now, do the research on the company though. Make sure that have a good rating. B and above I would say. Worst part is not getting paid for work performed. Make sure you do it the way the company want too. If they want pictures you need to send them or you wont get paid. If they need the model and serial number verified so that as well. Service Live ,which is the sears warranty company, pays pretty fast. Getting signed up is a nightmare and the paperwork sucks but if you have good reviews from the customers they will send you more and more work. Good Luck!!
I have the same washer and it first I got a DS code, and then when you press the spin, soil, power I get.. Flashing back & forth F3 & 2D.. I thought it got off level because I had a light comforter and a very small baby blanket in there. But I can’t get it to do anything. It has a little hourglass to the very left top. I also checked it and it said it’s still good whenever I did the test code on it. Any ideas? Thanks
I tried testing hot and cold as you stated and when i unplugged it they both stopped filling.. but i get an OE code and it keeps draining the water. It never fills to start washing.
Did what you did in the video. Water kept running, turn off hot and still running. So its the cold. The cold inside the washer has 4 (shut off). Do I need to replace all 4? And it doesn't give the OE code on rinse+spin. Thanks for your help
Hi, i have a problem with my washer. No code error when starting the cycle but nothing really start, juste the clic, Door locked, and then nothing happening. I try spin only, rinse and spin, samedi result. Any idea of the problem whst coule be? Tks
As a repair man i only replace what is needed to be replaced. If i replaced both i would feel like i am charging the customer more than is necessary. Most of the time the issue is with the cold. it can happen but rarely this issue happen on the hot water side. I think i have replaced one due to that happening in 8 years
Very good video :) But sadly didn't solve my problem. Mine keeps filling and draining at the same time, and when disconnecting the power for the valve, it stops filling. Think it´s the "computer" :-/
A little late for this but check your drain hose next time. If it's not vertical & in the right position with the drain it will cause a syphon effect. Almost always the case with constant fill & simultaneous drain.
So I run my washer on warm and water is constantly running through the cold valve. Does that mean the cold water valve is bad or the warm water valve is bad?
How do i get into the diagnostic test? Mine turns on all buttons seem to work and you can hear the door lock closed but it doesn't fill up with water and doesn't start cycle

Just getting started in the business. This video is priceless! Great info.
Best of luck!

Thank you so much!! Our Samsung was doing the exact same thing. I replaced cold value and it fixed the issue.
I tried the water valves 25.00 from Amazon and worked great ! Thanks
Where did you find them for $25?!
@@kylelawrence8551 Amazon the Seller is TOMOON
Thanks - fixed our model # wf42h5200ap with the linked part for $70. The appliance repair guy’s callout fee is 2x that.

@@The3NAN01 I recall it was only 50 dollars , found it on Amazon
Thank you for the detailed example! Great video.
Thank you so much. After this video I can use my washer again!
Thanks for your advice 👍🏿
Good video I do the same method for years.
Too much water made me recheck my lint trap, I just changed it but sure enough changing the trap again fixed my problem.
I was gonna mention just that, it’s a great vid tutorial but fail to inform about the Lint trap, how it should be checked and drained monthly for proper maintenance and reduce error messages.
Where do I buy these valves? Great video
Thank you!❤

This is what mine is doing. But not on rinse and spin. So you did this in this video and it worked?!
Thanks for sharing, such skills.
Where do you buy the water valves from????

Same issue as you. Do you have the fix?

Yeah it's one part for all 4. link is in the description of the quad valve if you need it.
Should of put that cowboys hat in the trash not to the side lol. Awesome video
Wearing it right now, proudly I will add!

Tks
Washer will not select Warm/Warm. Could this be a valve issue?
Is this covered by the ten year warranty?
How do I know which valve to change? Why didn't you change the single one there, too?
As a repair man i only replace what is needed to be replaced. If i replaced both i would feel like i am charging the customer more than is necessary.
