  • Welcome to my subscribers and any new people who have found my channel. Your support is very much appreciated.
In this episode of KRT Electrical Services, I will be showing you how I installed a Google Nest cam with floodlight at my house. I have had this product for sometime, but have only just got round to installing it! This is the perfect companion for my Google Nest wired doorbell that I installed in a previous episode.
The product that I installed in this video can be found and purchased on Amazon. This is a link to it:

Great instruction vid. Calming to watch also! Torn between this and wireless one (no floodlight). Worried that floodlight will trigger with every passing car that drive past my parked car. Bought house with cam install already but not a google one and a bit obsolete - so not worried about wire installation as it's all there already. Is the floodlight over sensitive?

Nice video! I just bought two of those (on sale $120 off), one for the driveway and one for the backyard deck. I do have a lot of google devices (door bell/hub max/camera/speakers/chrome cast) so it made a lot of sense to stay in that eco system. In both my installs I am going with a eve "horizontal" mount instead of vertical - your video gave me insight on the whole install, wiring is not exactly the same here in Canada but close enough!
Link to the horizontal mount I will be using.

Since your install how are you liking it? In the App you can adjust the motion sensor and light settings. Cheers man!

No problem, thanks for the comments.
I had to adjust the sensitivity of the PIR as large rain droplets and misty rain in front of the camera was activating the PIR. But, apart from that, it is all good.
I'm pleased with it. Good luck with your install.
Would love to visit Canada 🇨🇦 some day👍🏻 Looks amazing!

Any electrician should be able to install the necessary power supply and the item itself👍🏻

No bro, you cannot because there’s a app that uses that
