    Only just noticed he's leading with his left foot throughout most of the song, fair play Mr. Searle

      @ultrakillertoast 9 лет назад +22

      It's much easier to play those parts with your left foot, as it's off beat. Very fun to play!

      that is the natural "sticking" indeed if you do the analogy to your hands ^^

      He's not leading! A lot of the notes fall on the off beat which be prefers to keep on the left foot

    Hey,Riccardo. Respect other peoples opinion.
    It is Zildjian who neglects "all forms of music" ....thats my point. I would like to see some "breakdowns" in other genres. This breakdown is exactly like the last one they posted a couple weeks ago. And a couple weeks ago before that. Just different groups playing the same thing. Why not breakdown Peter Erskine, or Dave King. I prefer to look at drumming from a musical stand point and not as a sport. So my comment wasnt to disrespect the type of music but zildjian choice of breaking down the same thing over and over again. All forms of music should be displayed thanks

      "But the same bap bap bap bap bap bap....gag. Break down something creative for a change." explain to me how that isn't a disrespectful criticism of this genre of music. stop pretending to appreciate this "non-creative" genre. The only thing you come across as is ignorant. Also there is plenty of material by Peter Erskine and Dave king. Dan Searle isn't covered so i'm glad they are doing breakdowns of this.

      Its not creative when he copies note for note what a thousand other players are doing. Its not about pretending to like anything. Its like groyndhog day over and over with this series and this form of art.But i would like a little more variety in the breakdown series. You will figure it out one day. Just like my students that think drumming is a sport but couldnt keep time with a simple 4 on the floor and a watch tied around their neck. Learn to respect other peoples opinion even when its critical of what you might like.

    • @RandomlnternetGuy
      @RandomlnternetGuy 10 лет назад +4

      ***** You're lost buddy haha. You actually think that there is no creativity in hardcore? Go listen to the contortionist, Dillinger escape plan, Meshuggah, Between the buried and me, Uneven structure, Periphery, Animals as Leaders. then come back hear and tell me that this genre doesn't have creativity. And don't play the wise old man, "you'll figure it out one day" card. I liesten to EVERYTHING. try to learn it all and respect every drummer regardless of their ability to put 4 on the floor or not. it's your attitude towards music that you don't personally like that makes you an asshole. You should be watching this video and be trying to look for a lesson, regardless of your previous knowledge. and even if there's nothing to learn from this, you should stay positive.

    • @RandomlnternetGuy
      @RandomlnternetGuy 10 лет назад +1

      ***** personally, i found it interesting how he keeps the left foot going during the verse instead of leading with the right, and right there was the lesson i pulled out of this.

    It's the record company's that dictate what they want us to hear. Unfortunately too many have chosen to run with the same ole thing and run it in the ground until people get tired of it or they choose not to use real musicians by cheating and using loops of computer generated music.
    They steal fresh ideas from really good bands then run those into the ground and pay pennies on the dollar. And artist sign up for this to try and get noticed and because they are starving they get the raw end of the deal, relying on making money on the road.
    Plus people steal musical ideas then it ends up sounding all the same and people get tired of it and many original bands fade away

    Ok zildjian, this is getting old. Exactly like the last breakdown but different group. But the same bap bap bap bap bap bap....gag. Break down something creative for a change.

      ***** Why come onto a video named "break down series" and expect anything different? it's a breakdown. Either respect it or don't listen, nobody is forcing you.
