An interesting take on Chipotle dishes. Have you eaten there? Chipotle only uses chicken thighs, no breasts. Chipotle black beans are much different, as is their rice. Look at a few of this guy's Chipotle dishes. He had work there, he knows how to cook their food. His channel name is 'DoomSmokeBBQ' he has several videos. Also, another guy has recipes on this subject 'CookingwithChris'. he's accurate but I prefer the other cook above, Chis is sometimes more difficult to tolerate. Give them a try.
I haven't eaten at Chipotle in probably ten years, but I remember I liked their big ole burrito with all kinds of stuff in it. I remember being surprised that I was able to eat the whole thing. I've heard they changed some of their recipes since I last ate there, though.
You nailed most of it! Coming from a former chipotle employee, the guacamole has red onion and jalapeño in it for a little heat. And they don’t put black pepper in anything really. Just salt and lime
For those wondering what was the extra ingredient added to the corn that was not mentioned, It is Cumin, in her description after you press more, you will see the link to the recipe with much more information plus other Recipes for different dishes.
I made this for my family, and they loved it! The recipe had stunning flavor and my mom said after eating it she wanted to retire from cooking because it was that good. I mainly used this as a guidance for things but I thank you very much and it was a great experience.
Just tried this and all recipes spot on. Especially the marinade for the chicken. I’m used to making the other stuff so did not need to follow recipe there. Just needed a good marinade for the chicken and this one was perfect. Thank you very much for the recipe!
I am currently enjoying at chipotle -chicken burrito bowl tastes excellent and serving size is great, the associates are very friendly. Today- excellent value!!!! 😊
Love the video and thank you for your tips, and ideas but really wish you would have put in the description box a step-by-step in detail of everything you did.
My chipotle bowl came out so good I didn’t have a blender so I just used the sauce from the chipotle keep the videos coming I’m staying and eating healthy all 2024
I just had one question on the corn salsa. You said all the ingredients but right before the salt and pepper you added something else that was brown and I don’t know what this ingredient was. Please enlighten me. Looks delicious. Thanks for the video.
This is the first person to remember to stop marinating after 2 hours if you are using lime juice. Some people say overnight. Have you seen what happens to chicken in something acidic for that long!?!
Someone else commented, but no one bothered to reply. Your video clearly shows an unidentified spice in the corn salsa. Any chance you want to tell us what it is?😢
25 minutes for rice? I put mine into the pan of water, salt, no oil, bring to the boil, stir, turn down to low and leave for another 9 minutes and it's done. I guess if I included the time taken to bring water to the boil added to the 9 minutes bumps the time up a bit.
They have these things called grocery stores. They’ve been around for two or three years now. You can buy all sorts of food in them. You can also go to a farm and buy a live one to slaughter yourself right in your kitchen. That REALLY makes it authentic. 👍
Who cares if guacamole turns brown it still tastes good and isn't spoiled what is wrong with people Why encourage them to hate brown food that is natural
You don't need to wash packaged chicken. I've cooked chicken without washing plenty of times and never gotten sick. Washing is only done if your chicken or whatever meat has dirt or debris on it.
What is your go-to Chipotle order?
Gotta have the red salsa

But the black pepper ought to make it better. Right?

There was three seasonings you used in the corn salsa. Salt pepper and what else was that in the bowl..???
Looks like cumin
Love chipotle chicken from the restaurant. So flavorful. Gonna try yours soon.

Just had a great time making this! It blew me away. The chipotle peppers in adobo sauce might be my new favorite sauce. Thanks so much, subscribed!
I accidentally burned one side of my chicken, but tell me why it still tasted phenomenal. Thank you so much! I'm making it again tonight.

I thought yr supposed to dbl the amount of water to rice?
You must have did a copycat recipe version of Chipotle just in time for Cinco de Mayo.
And I like the homemade steak bowls from Chipotle.
Love it 😋
Thanks so much! Can't wait to hear what you think if you make it :)
Excellent
There was an ingredient missed in the corn is that cumin?
How do we make the queso at home thoooo
How many calories roughly would be there in this bowl?

I was looking for this comment. I believe its cumin.
It looks like a teaspoon of cumin, maybe 1/2 teaspoon. 🤷♂️
I noticed it also. Cumin I was thinking.
This comment definitely sounds like someone is entitled to answer it🤣 No one has to 💯
I printed out the recipe and it said 1/2 tsp. Cumin.
Great video ✨
how many bowls do you get out of it??
Looks good:😁
Love the long skirt with a strappy heel yess!!!
how do you cook chicken to 165 wthiout burning that thing
so no recipe for the beans? just straight from the can?
We need more people to know this and not be lazy by making it themselves. That way less people come to the store i work at

I cant wait to try this at Chipotle😂 yeah too many steps for me lol i rather they do it and all the clean up.
I swear😂
Chipotle is getting worst. Smaller portions and cost more. Flavors on the cooked items are fading.
Who cares if guacamole turns brown it still tastes good and isn't spoiled what is wrong with people Why encourage them to hate brown food that is natural
I didn't know Chipotle used chicken breast, is this new? I thought they used thighs.
You’re correct they don’t use breast! Every one I’ve been to use boneless chicken thighs.
Biggest issue I have with Chipotle is it doesn’t heat up well/ leftovers…
Just my opinion, but that is not enough water to simmer on low for 20 minutes. I must be missing something.
I’ve always used 2 cups water per cup of rice. I’m assume rinsing it before cooking allows the use of less water, but what do I know🤷

I will omit the cilantro. Hate it. Tastes like soap. So no cilantro
I can’t learn to like cilantros taste either, wish I could 😔
Also try the dried it doesn’t have that taste
Too much work
