Harry seemed unaffected when Dumbledore announced that Snape was the new Defense Against the Dark Arts because in the movie, the only class that Harry had attended was Slughorn's Potion class. I wish they had included Snape's Defense Against the Dark Arts class to show Snape teaching them how to duel
For me I think Harris suited the family feel of the first two movies where Micheal Gambon suits the 'darkness' of the later movies. Although on the subject of power, Harris gave a more quiet, all knowing type of power that is similar to the Dumbledore in the books. Whilst Gambon is better at pulll out all the stops, badass kind of display of power, for example watch the Inferi scene at the end of Half Blood Prince.

I think Gambon was the better Dumbledore. I don't think Harris would've been able to pull off a lot of the epic Dumbledore scenes in the later movies. That and Gambon nailed Dumbledore's death perfectly.
@Seinneka Because of the return of Voldemort, the castle's protection has been increased and there are Aurors stationed all around the castle. The man walking left to right is an Auror as well as the 2 men standing by him.

This is a bit off topic, but I wish I had a British friend to teach me how to speak English as they do. It seems more proper and elegant. (although I know it is just personal taste) I find their pronunciation very attractive.

@VenomShock Umm, I thought the speech's point from start to finish was pretty clear. The point of the speech was that Tom Riddle was one of you once, just a student (and by extension, all the death eaters were once). And while you may think that the threats are out there on the outside, it's actually other students like you who will be their weapons in the future war. Students, just like Tom Riddle once was.
@michealsofresh12 Obviously they had to clap for him, he's their head of house (Slytherin, I was about to write Slutherin, LOL) plus he's their role model, mentor, etc.

I just don't think Harris would have been able to portray Dumbledore's really emotional scenes like Gambon did (Potion of Despair scene as an example)

Really? I always thought that harris got the relationship between dumbledore and harry spot on, while Gambon wasn't so good at the emotional side but really good at being the 'most powerful wizard in the world' aspect of dumbledore.

Snape got the job he dreamed about since the first series of movie...... But don't worry snape that job is cursed by Voldemort(Tom Riddle)......It won't last more than one year. 😅
