  • The station is named after an old stage coach inn and lies in Shropshire serving the Welsh Marches and the Heart of Wales (Llinell Calon Cymru) lines. It is on a double track section of line and the single track junction to the llinell Calon Cymru lies to the south. Ludlow and Church Stretton lie on either side and Brome is the first station after the junction. It has the first UK FLOW pedestrian bridge at the level crossing.
