Our family operates an old fashioned Amish grocery, deli and bakery next to Meadowlark Log Homes office.
In this video you see the original old log store building, and a walk through of it and the new Amish Farm To Market, opening in summer 2019.
The old store will eventually be our Amish restaurant. You can see the various types of construction used, from original log home and log truss roof style, to the massive log pavilion and timber frame front for the new store.

So Elvie, are you trying to tell yourself that you're not keeping yourself busy enough?? ;-) and all of the buildings that you have there are very well built and beautiful with such craftsmanship put into them. I think the best part of your operation there is that you're selling high quality, healthy home made food and goods at your store. And from what I gathered from what you were saying is that you also cary a large selection of discounted food items that are also very good quality which is very considerate of your family because there are a lot of families that live on a very tight budget and I'm sure that they appreciate what your family does for your community. Wow! You all did a fantastic job in building that store & the addition! You should be proud of your work that god gave you the ability to build so well as you all have! I've always admired how the amish build, so when i needed a shed built in my backyard I went to the amish in my area. I was not disappointed w/the work they did for us. (i live in tennessee & we have amish from lancaster county nearby) Thank you so much for the video! It's nice to see what other's have done & built.

I live in Michigan and we have 2 amish grocery stores by our cabin. Love them. Pineview in McBain MI and Dutch Pantry in Evart, MI. My niece lives in MT. I will try to visit yours!
When I began courting my new friend, now my wife Rebekah, she lived in Evart Michigan! We have lots of cousins throughout Michigan.

It includes all the lowland areas from Vale in rural eastern Oregon to Boise, and is the most populated area in Idaho. It includes Idaho's Capital of Boise. I live about 28 miles northwest of Boise just off of I-84. The Boise area is very populated and is still actively agricultural. The Nampa/Caldwell area south of Boise is one of the biggest growing areas in this area. Hope this helps!

Love your buildings....are you going to use solar power ? the slope of those new roofs and the intensity of the sun, even in winter, would make it really viable.....the eco soundness of your buildings is great....log homes are the way to go

I was in North East Montana in Wolf Point in October 2017 ....got off the Amtrak there, then came down to Wyoming.

Are there any Amish stores like this in Eastern USA, like Vermont, Maine, New York, etc.
In the New England states, Maine is the only one with an Amish population, in several locations and I’m quite sure you’ll find similar stores there. I don’t know the towns but you could probably do a google search and find them. New York and most states east of New England have considerable Amish populations and in most communities you will find these stores. If you can’t find them you’ll need to come visit us!
What area of Montana are you located in? I have relatives in Montana and go out there every three years for a family reunion. I am liking what I see and might stop in.

Elvie, If I ever get into some money, I will pay you a visit, up there in eagle county. If I ever get some money, I would like to build something, I would like to build a log home mixed with stones and 15 foot halllways going 100 feet in each direction, making a square, the interior will be used for gardening . I want a porch to walk all the way around, completely covered by the elements and I want a high watch tower, something that I can actually sleep in if I want.

Yes that could be seen as a negative but folks express that they actually enjoy sitting in the pavilion and hearing the saws and machinery buzzing.

Audio was perfectly fine..the complainers manners(or lack there of) stink though.
