I don't eat yogurt that much but i do save the cups once in white. When I need a some sort of container i just cut the bottom half the bottle (i save the bottles and take them away to the recycling bin every month)
Thanks for this list of crafter essentials. I'm starting out crafting my own table top gaming pieces and was a little lost on where to begin. Love your videos btw very helpful and inspirational
Great video. I was watching to see what else I can add to my ungodly collection of tools and they only thing I need are the clay tools. Also I've found that the Sharpie fine tipped markers (I think .7) are great for all drawing on xps I use the normal ball points for depth in the grids. Finally, your painted cardboard has a name already. "Old Reliable"
great video. i lay my tools down - no matter how many different stand up organizers - i never use them - so I have most of them to my right laid down on the table off my working area.I use drawer organizers and shelves for those items I don't grab over and over again with my hands. I also recycle plastic lids etc.. and use cardboard as my painting surface. Should have got my cutting mat years ago I have destroyed kitchen cutting boards, tables trays etc... thanks again for the video - Name it RC Rupert (Recycled Cardboard Rupert)
The Angry Dwarf Yeah I did a resin pour a about a month ago on my wife’s buffet table because I didn’t want to miss The Witcher.... no RC Rupert (not bad it’s a contender) in sight. I got caught up in the show... 15 min later there was a puddle of green resin on the table.... we’re still married.
Great video John. I see you have the cover of the latest Bexim's Bazaar with your castle submission in the mag posted on the wall. Gloves would be good when cutting, but I have a 24" piece of aluminum angle stock that I use as a straight edge for cutting, so my fingers stay behind the 90 degree angle like a guard.
We don't have xpf foam in the UK. Everyone I order is paper covered. After watching your video I noticed your foam is blue so I grabbed some blue foam from amazon abit too hastily. It was upholstery foam when it arrived 🙈
Thank you for being sensitive to the non-millionaire crafters among us, haha! I spent so much cash on glues and paints and tools (but still no Proxxon, quiet weeping) the first week I got into this craft that, guiltily, I felt like I should never spend another cent on it. Great tips about the yogurt cups and cardboard. Thank you for all your excellent videos!
Oh man that was awesome! I have most of this stuff already, and we can now get Mod Podge in New Zealand so that will be added to my tool kit. I hear it’s great for water effects as well? You could probably call your cardboard the ‘Board of Resilience’ due to what it has put up with! Thank you for sharing this with us.....look forward to the next build vid!
Tabletop WitchCRAFT the only thing we have trouble getting is the XPS foam. It’s available but quite pricey. I have used high density polystyrene before with good results but is softer than XPS as you can imagine.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Adam Savage just shared a video where he describes almost losing a finger (recent injury) while cleaning his lathe. Have a look, you can't seem any sillier than he felt! The worst one for me was my then 10 year-old son assembling some Space Marines. He laid the Exacto knife on the table, which of course rolled of because why would they make them so they didn't roll? Point first into his thigh. Quick trip to A&E, couple of stitches and we both became much more mindful about where and how we placed our blades.
you can call de cardboard : POTPOURI :) that is a french word but it finds it's origine in the name of a Spanish dish that contains various ingredients. , just saying :)
Great information. I think every crafter should follow you! Thanks
Thank you guys !! :)
Your cardboard looks like a galaxy.....so I guess "galactic board" could fit lol
James Woods Oh I like that haha.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT "galactic board" or "the galactic board" either or lol
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT glad you liked the pitch lol
For the lactose intolerant among us, you can save all the blister pack bits from your minis to put paint and washes in. I love your videos.
Great call L Bur711. Thank you 🙏
I am new to the hobby and loving your videos! I think the cardboard's name is Pollock.
Marcy L I’m glad you found the channel and are enjoying the content!! Welcome aboard Marcy :)

I'm not gonna help you name your cardboard.
Oh come on haha... How about Baaaaxter?
try bonefolder for paper work, i have one and i use it daily at work, and at home too :) versatile and classic tool
Will do, thank you Vaclav!
You should name the cardboard Sparky
Hi John yet another fabulous video.why don't you call your cardboard Cosmic I the light it looks like another planet
Thank you Leslee :)

I'm happy to hear that ! Craft on!
You could sell your cardboard to a museum, it is very nice too ! You are an artist
Patrick Massé Thanks :)

Bobsterslobsters 13 Nice, glad I could add to the addiction haha. And the board certainly is just that!
You have to have respect for and pay full attention to your xacto blades....my "reduced" left index finger stands testament to that mantra...
Rob Ferguson I feel your pain Rob !
Definitely need a blooper reel, bud!
And the cardboard naming ceremony.
Sounds good :)
Thanks for this. I need lots of some of this. The yogurt cups good ideas my guy eats a lot of them. I m going to start keeping them.
Happy to hear this helped. And just when you think you have enough yogurt containers... you don't haha... keep them all.

The Angry Dwarf haha... congrats!
You should use some colorful paint on that cardboard and make a wonderful piece of abstract art.
Always look forward to your vids!!! You're an inspiration for sure!
Thank you so much Benjamin, I really appreciate that :)
Bob...anything of any consequence in my space is named Bob.
Dade :)
Worshak's Nightmare for the cardboard name! As soon as I saw it , I saw an inkblot test and the Nightmare before Christmas movie... 😅🤭🥴
You have almost all that I have too. I also use hairspray for flocking trees
Cool idea !
Check your links. Some dont work. Cheers.
Thanks for the heads up! I have everything updated on my website! Should be good there! www.tabletopwitchcraft.com
I cut myself with metal duct tape 30 years ago and can still almost feel it every time I think about it.
I can feel that now...
Loving the channel and i think you should name your cardboard "The Workshop Nebular". It looks like space. Really cool
Peggy Bradford Thank you Peggy! Cool name :)
Two more weeks of crafting and you could sell that cardboard as a painting ;)
hmmm.... :)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT 1 year later... do you still have the cardboard? Only recently subscribed so not seen many vids yet.

Aww. So there’s no acquiring XPS where you are? Luke at Geek Gaming might be a good person to contact.
Blooper reel! Do it!
JayBob DoinStuff haha, well see.
Awesome video. Looking forward to more Shifting lands reviews and more builds as well.
