Need to use a loop knot to give the action a little freedom. The straight retrieve will be smoother and the twitching will be a lot more choppy but stable when twitching the rod tip down

Love that it is slow sinking, since I am basically a bank angling pond hopper. Still waiting for it to stop raining up here in Rhode Island but, I have a 5" and a 7" and can't wait to try them out!!! Great video!!!

Gonna try to completely modify a 5" to slow glide this year.

@@huskychipmunk with no weight , it will ride right under the surface , if you add nail waits you can get it down , 7-8 ft

Your rod tip is to high if its rolling like that.
You pulling it to the surface when instead youd want to be pulling it as parallel to the waters surface as possible.
I find this bait has better action with rod and reel working. Minimal reel and as slow or as fast twit hes as you like.

Straight retrieve. Don't jerk it like the typical glide bait. Just vary your retrieval speed, no need to jerk it.

Just did another video fishing it ... it's a reel retrieve bait for sure ... rod action hurts this baits action

Def messed up to ateal the design. Bur to be fair the grow are still always sold put and atill have a better action from what i understand. They can both exeist but its definitely a hit acummy for q large bait manufacturer to ateal from a smaller one like that.

The way you retrieve that bait makes it look completely useless…. Reeling way to fast and sharp and rod tip is way too high your glide bait should never roll over slow reel with a accelerating at the end to make the bait sweep/ glide

This is a soft plastic glide bait , totally different , also filming baits underwater is challenging. Thanks for the feedback tho , we will consider it in making our next video on the Nessie .
