I'm hoping this finally gets Genshin to make changes. Or EVEN better, get Cai replaced as the top guy in charge of Genshin and replaced by someone similar to David Jiang.

I dont want to think of this vs that. Iwant them to both succeed. If one exists, it causes the other to work harder or just as hard to compete making both games better in the long run. Genshin wasnt as generous before in the past for compensation and gifts during anniversaries (remember free Dr Ratio in HSR drama?), now that they have competition, maybe that'll change for their players.
You do realize some people like the anonymity it gives right. Like not everyone wants there face to be blasted all over the internet so they use stuff like this.
@@MisguidingWishbruh, Wuthering waves is so much more enjoyable than Genshin. I played since 1.4 and even sped 100$ on the game and I just can’t enjoy the game since I started playing Hsr and especially now when I started playing WuWa I will be uninstalling genshin.

I’ve been playing Genshin since patch 1.3, and honestly, I’m just so tired of how they treat their players and their stagnant gameplay. They’re so stingy with everything, refuse to improve their QoL, and my god do they need a dialogue skip button. I’ve been playing WuWa for three days now, and I adore it so much. I appreciate how much effort the team is putting into the game. Not to mention how the fighting style that is ever-so-slightly reminiscent of souls-like games makes combat in WuWa so much more interesting and fun. Genshin’s gets dull very quickly as they cycle through the same tired routine and constantly recycle character kits. The artifacts system is horrible and such a pain to grind as well, while in WuWa you are fighting the mobs for mats anyway and the mobs themselves are the artifacts-equivalent in the game. They’re actually giving me a reason to engage with the combat system, and I find that to be so much better than what Genshin is doing. Anyway, that’s just my humble opinion as a veteran Genshin player. HSR is fun though.
Played since 1.4 and I completely agree I somehow played the game until 4.2 and then I played Honkai star rail and now I’m mostly on Wuthering Waves and some Honkai star rail and cookie run kingdom.

@@mjnon2008 I downloaded her when it came out it’s really fun though it is a turned based game so it depends on your preferences, if you prefer open world games I recommend Wuthering Waves I downloaded it and it’s really fun so is hsr both are really fun depends on your preferences.
Can't wait for the PS5 Version of WuWa. Might miss the 10 free Pulls, but the 5 Star Selector will even it out. Although, I hope that they make Events replayable like in HSR.

The only issue for me, this game is not motion sickness friendly.. I play Genshin, Star Rail, TOF, and some other games and I don't have that issue, but the first 15 min of playing my motion sickness kicked in, and after 30 min I threw up.. But I still play but after 2 days I can't anymore my head hurts.. I have to wait for they to optimize it before I can continue playing..
Sorry you are going through that, have you tried messing with the camera options as in camera speed / zoomout, seems to me the speed of the camera is causing your motion sickness to flare

After 4 days of wuthering waves Im honestly just quitting genshin. On the first two days it was super laggy, ping kept spiking, game models were acting up, it was better yesterday, and today I haven’t gotten any lag or issues and it ran smoothly!! I run the game on my iphone 12 mini. Im so glad they are working on the game and addressing issues and giving compensation

WuWa made so many great development choices that Genshin simply refused to implement. We’re able to buy Eidolons (constellations) for 5 stars from the shop, able to farm echoes without the use of Waveplates (Resin), aaaand we are so thankfully able to SKIP story missions!! 🙌🏻 I feel like I was in an abusive relationship with Genshin, but now, my new partner is so caring and just doing all the things I want, without me having to ask.
Yes Wuthering waves is the game that mature people play even tho it's also another game where we can waste our time playing it. I'm mature because I play video games hahaha. Who needs to attend to reality when you're playing a video game as mature as wuthering? Yes you are right! Sorry to say that but Genshin is realy more childish. They are focusinig on child model characters, the story shows everything in a naiv way (Arlecchinos quest was a dissapointment it was way too naiv and ended in a innocent way). But that's not entirely the writers fault. China has restrictions about the content, and since no love content in these types of games there is not much to talk about. But still, Genshin story (for now) it's way more better then Wuthering Waves story!!! Genshin has a big lore in it's back and it's still exciting!! It's hard to compete with Genshin story. But not imposdible. WuWa don't need to beat Genshin story, but it's need to be improved! It was just the first patch, they know we will focuse on character buildings and everything else so I hope they are holding back there trump-card. And yes, WuWa screems to be more mature! More adult characters and the apocaliptic wrold is a more mature topic then a colorfull fantasy world. I love both games but I'm a bit tired of this childis story telling. And a lot of the adult player basis are also tired of it.

They are going to increase the anniversary rewards from 20 to 30 wishes and decrease 10 wishes from the further patch 😮 This is what they have been doing in the last 3 year if u didn't realize it

I don't think Genshin will give us a 5 star as when HSR gave a free five star and Genshin players asked for one too; Genshin was like nah... so I don't have much hope for that. I think Wuthering Waves has potential go neck to neck with Genshin but only time will tell. Other than that I had fun playing the game so that is what it is all about in the end 🙂

Its vise versa actually, I know its not much but most of the people on the server Im in had joined the ToF server as a mutual joined one on discord. And there is like 40k people who are mutual with me, most of the people there have joined the ToF server as well. Sadly its 40k people though, im sad.
I played the game because of news that they are giving a lot of free stuff. It was a hype for me so I played it and true enough I got 2 new 5 star characters. It's just that, playing it for several days I feel like it isn't for me, be it the world exploration, the music and the story, heck even the characters, they all look dull for me. The only thing I enjoyed is the combat gameplay but still not enough to make me engaged. I didn't uninstall the game but I haven't logged in for a while now. Maybe play it again when there is a hype going upon it again 😅
I love WuWa but to me it's the total opposite. And even if i have a red ping on genshin, I'm still able to play with lag, but not on WuWa, i always disconnected with a red ping
If you think giving 5 stars for free is too much? Check out their other game PGR. In their 2nd and 3rd anniversary, they give free s rank omns from the previous banners and a fee 5* signature weapon selector and a free 30 pull. Thats how generous Kuro is. The only generous Hoyoverse games ever had was Honkai 3rd and HSR. The old greedy producer of Honkai 3rd Transfered to Genshin (Cai Haoyu) so you dont have to expect many rewards becuase of his notorious past from their other game. And i hope WuWa will open his eyes and see why Players are mad every anniversary.

Genshin already did. It was Aloy. I don’t care about how bad she is, I don’t care that she was just a collab character. Genshin still gave the players a five star and in fact it wasn’t even a five star, it was a six star.

Well both games are improving anyway. Like genshin who changed their weapon banner mechanics though you need higher resources, and make it easier to hunt for treasure chest now. Both games don't want to lose income in the long run so they will change it slowly. I just hope in the future that hoyoverse added options to view cutscenes in the past and rechallenge any story again just like other games
I hope this new game comes on PS, also once all the small tweaks and issues are resolved. I like playing genshin and I will most likely enjoy playing this game.

the new area looks very cartoony lol . now that im getting used to wuthering waves art style and combat system its impossible for me to enjoy genshin . hoyoverse know that genshin is in its end cycle and they re ok with it since the game made billions in profit and as long as they make profit they will keep working on it until its dead and move on to something else .
Funny thing is. i'm not really a fan of the 5* this time around. I was more excited about the 4*. So i am not going to be ungrateful. But giving out this many 5* spells another cloud on the game. Because now the content in the first few month will probably be very trivial for a far bigger majority of people. Guess we'll have too see 1 month in where the players are at that point
Played genshin day one, spent like ... too much money on it, burnt out, hadn't touched it in years. Then I see a video on Wuthering Waves. All I could say is "Man, the UI looks weird. Why would they change their UI, it was kinda perfect. This one seems kinda amateur". But other than that, I had no idea, like none. Zero. That what I was seeing wasn't genshin till the combat started. The world looks the same, the characters, the UI ideas even if not the implementation. The banners, the everything.
Well genshin didn't start out as bad as wuwa, i mean it still runs smoothly on my 4 yr old lowend device for 30 mins but wuwa is just 7 gb and it lags like in 5 mins into the game So to retain players they had to pull a free five star selector from STANDARD to keep them coming back afterwards. While HSR on the other hand Just gave out a free LIMITED character without it being a compensation for anything

Any chance Wuwa had at even competing with Genshin is frankly gone, much less outright beating it. This launch has been nothing short of outright abysmal when half the fanbase cant even play the game. This game was released unfinished, point blank. And now they're tossing out free rewards to stop the bleeding but its honestly too late. Between the abysmal launch, multitude of bugs and glitches, the horrendous EN voice acting, the sheer lack of polish, and mind numbing story, Wuwa struggles to match Genshin back in 1.0, MUCH less Genshin these days. First impressions matter, and this was about as bad of one as you can get. Call me old, but games used to come out fully functional, when did we start accepting unfinished products? The CN community has already turned on them and thats a death nail in of itself. Genshins not going to do anything about Wuwa because they don't have to. They've been radio silent as Kuro games shoot themselves in the foot again and again. There is no response because Wuwa isn't on Hoyos radar. They don't care, because why would they?

Look i like playing some strong characters or stating up my characters but genshins power creep made me stop playing and its similiar with honkai star rail as well. I dont want to have to pull for the newest dps just to do good dmg ya know?
Power creep is gonna 100% happen, its just the way gacha games work sadly, but in wuwa we need to build 3 teams so power creep shouldnt be an issue for a long while.

You guarantee to get the featured weapon Different currency on limited weapon banner. Your pulls for limited character are safe More purchasable pulls from montly store (at lower price and includes said limited weapon banner currency) Most basic chest gives 5 gems. 2 gems in Genshin Whole movement is 10x better, with wall run and triple jump Even if Hoyo decides to give free 5-star character, that alone wont be enough to draw back the attention
They're maybe a little too generous. I've played for 2 days now and f2p I have all the 5 stars besides Jiyan and Calcharo. I wish we had 4 slots because I can't decide on what characters to level up. I can't wait for Scar to be added and hopefully Jinshi will be added too.

I hope the wuthering waves can keep up the momentum that they seem to have. Because we probably won’t get anything on Natlan until 4.8’s livestream. Don’t get me wrong, I am excited for Natlan. Mainly because we really don’t have much information on the region. It’s kind of like Inazuma in a way where we know Inazuma exists. We know some things about it, but we didn’t know what was going on because the borders were closed at that point in the story. For Natlan we have basically nothing. All we know is what Neuvilette told us at the end of the archon quest. Plus, some of the events made reference to Natlan as the NPC‘s were travelling. So Natlan has a lot of mystery to it. It does look interesting especially if we can use these creatures to traverse the terrain. But again it’s one trailer and there’s only maybe one location because now on may be very huge and may cover the west of the sumeru desert and all the way to the south. The biggest thing making me not want to come back full-time and be sort of on and off. Is the resin system. If they added HSR’s system of reserved trail blaze power with the exact amount of reserves may be a bit more. Then I’d be happy and more than willing to come back to playing every two days. But without it, I’ll go a week come back do the events to get the primo gems then leave for a week, then come back. I’m excited for the Dainslief quest cause we do get a lore dump from the siblings and Khaenri’ah. But the events don’t really interest me anymore. And right now I kind of want to focus on WutheringWaves. I’m having a lot of fun with the combat which I was worried about because combat like in WuWa is my kryptonite. I’m not really good at it, especially if there’s a delay with dodging or parrying or counterattacking. So you have to be more careful with what you’re doing. Which isn’t inherently a bad thing. It’s just some thing I’m not used to. But that was two days ago me. The me right now is starting to get used to it. And it’s actually fun once you get the hang of it.
you see wuwa is nothing more than a breather for genshin players until natlan drops. Because as you know most players are from genshin and they are just 'trying' the hyped game .
Its barely even been out, think when genshin first came out. It had like 3 weeks worth of content. Like WuWa. Its going to get more. Even jist looking at the map itself tells you that.
So far Nothing can take down Genshin. Ww covers a small amount of players who likes that type of fighting mechanics. AND ITS SUPER HARD to play it properly on mobile. Apart from the fight which its OK it has nothing else to offer more then genshin. People are easily manipulated, they released a bad product and in order to try to make them happy they give a free 5*. The game just got released so obviously its on its peek but we need to see if will maintain that lvl or People will start to lose interest

I think the problem is for computer users but overall the game is great on their phone or tablet.

Turn off camera assistance thing in setting
Try removing motion blur as well, it might help^^

And the design/ world building and even the mobs designs are all kids friendly. Is the game childish? Not really. Is the community childish/ toxic? Definitely. The setting and theme, designs of wuwa are more idk "mature" like for teens and up, maybe they will make some kids scare.

Yes you are right! Sorry to say that but Genshin is realy more childish. They are focusinig on child model characters, the story shows everything in a naiv way (Arlecchinos quest was a dissapointment it was way too naiv and ended in a innocent way). But that's not entirely the writers fault. China has restrictions about the content, and since no love content in these types of games there is not much to talk about. But still, Genshin story (for now) it's way more better then Wuthering Waves story!!!
Genshin has a big lore in it's back and it's still exciting!! It's hard to compete with Genshin story. But not imposdible. WuWa don't need to beat Genshin story, but it's need to be improved! It was just the first patch, they know we will focuse on character buildings and everything else so I hope they are holding back there trump-card.
And yes, WuWa screems to be more mature! More adult characters and the apocaliptic wrold is a more mature topic then a colorfull fantasy world.

I don't think Genshin will give us a 5 star as when HSR gave a free five star and Genshin players asked for one too; Genshin was like nah... so I don't have much hope for that. I think Wuthering Waves has potential go neck to neck with Genshin but only time will tell. Other than that I had fun playing the game so that is what it is all about in the end 🙂

I played the game because of news that they are giving a lot of free stuff. It was a hype for me so I played it and true enough I got 2 new 5 star characters. It's just that, playing it for several days I feel like it isn't for me, be it the world exploration, the music and the story, heck even the characters, they all look dull for me. The only thing I enjoyed is the combat gameplay but still not enough to make me engaged. I didn't uninstall the game but I haven't logged in for a while now. Maybe play it again when there is a hype going upon it again 😅
Ppl complaining about ping? I've never seen green ping on gi ever and I'm playing since the first day of release! Wuwa still has better ping than gi
I love WuWa but to me it's the total opposite. And even if i have a red ping on genshin, I'm still able to play with lag, but not on WuWa, i always disconnected with a red ping

If you think giving 5 stars for free is too much? Check out their other game PGR. In their 2nd and 3rd anniversary, they give free s rank omns from the previous banners and a fee 5* signature weapon selector and a free 30 pull. Thats how generous Kuro is. The only generous Hoyoverse games ever had was Honkai 3rd and HSR. The old greedy producer of Honkai 3rd Transfered to Genshin (Cai Haoyu) so you dont have to expect many rewards becuase of his notorious past from their other game. And i hope WuWa will open his eyes and see why Players are mad every anniversary.

Well both games are improving anyway. Like genshin who changed their weapon banner mechanics though you need higher resources, and make it easier to hunt for treasure chest now. Both games don't want to lose income in the long run so they will change it slowly. I just hope in the future that hoyoverse added options to view cutscenes in the past and rechallenge any story again just like other games
I hope this new game comes on PS, also once all the small tweaks and issues are resolved. I like playing genshin and I will most likely enjoy playing this game.

the new area looks very cartoony lol . now that im getting used to wuthering waves art style and combat system its impossible for me to enjoy genshin . hoyoverse know that genshin is in its end cycle and they re ok with it since the game made billions in profit and as long as they make profit they will keep working on it until its dead and move on to something else .
Funny thing is. i'm not really a fan of the 5* this time around. I was more excited about the 4*. So i am not going to be ungrateful. But giving out this many 5* spells another cloud on the game. Because now the content in the first few month will probably be very trivial for a far bigger majority of people. Guess we'll have too see 1 month in where the players are at that point
Played genshin day one, spent like ... too much money on it, burnt out, hadn't touched it in years. Then I see a video on Wuthering Waves. All I could say is "Man, the UI looks weird. Why would they change their UI, it was kinda perfect. This one seems kinda amateur". But other than that, I had no idea, like none. Zero. That what I was seeing wasn't genshin till the combat started. The world looks the same, the characters, the UI ideas even if not the implementation. The banners, the everything.
Well genshin didn't start out as bad as wuwa, i mean it still runs smoothly on my 4 yr old lowend device for 30 mins but wuwa is just 7 gb and it lags like in 5 mins into the game
So to retain players they had to pull a free five star selector from STANDARD to keep them coming back afterwards.
While HSR on the other hand Just gave out a free LIMITED character without it being a compensation for anything

Any chance Wuwa had at even competing with Genshin is frankly gone, much less outright beating it. This launch has been nothing short of outright abysmal when half the fanbase cant even play the game. This game was released unfinished, point blank. And now they're tossing out free rewards to stop the bleeding but its honestly too late. Between the abysmal launch, multitude of bugs and glitches, the horrendous EN voice acting, the sheer lack of polish, and mind numbing story, Wuwa struggles to match Genshin back in 1.0, MUCH less Genshin these days. First impressions matter, and this was about as bad of one as you can get. Call me old, but games used to come out fully functional, when did we start accepting unfinished products?

Genshins not going to do anything about Wuwa because they don't have to. They've been radio silent as Kuro games shoot themselves in the foot again and again. There is no response because Wuwa isn't on Hoyos radar. They don't care, because why would they?

Wuwa is going to win AS LONG as they keep the power creep low as hell. Look i like playing some strong characters or stating up my characters but genshins power creep made me stop playing and its similiar with honkai star rail as well. I dont want to have to pull for the newest dps just to do good dmg ya know?

Power creep is gonna 100% happen, its just the way gacha games work sadly, but in wuwa we need to build 3 teams so power creep shouldnt be an issue for a long while.

Genshin prices for pulls and other things have always been way over priced (£20ish for 10 pulls!)which doesn't help now it has competition

I hope the wuthering waves can keep up the momentum that they seem to have. Because we probably won’t get anything on Natlan until 4.8’s livestream. Don’t get me wrong, I am excited for Natlan. Mainly because we really don’t have much information on the region. It’s kind of like Inazuma in a way where we know Inazuma exists. We know some things about it, but we didn’t know what was going on because the borders were closed at that point in the story. For Natlan we have basically nothing. All we know is what Neuvilette told us at the end of the archon quest. Plus, some of the events made reference to Natlan as the NPC‘s were travelling. So Natlan has a lot of mystery to it.
It does look interesting especially if we can use these creatures to traverse the terrain. But again it’s one trailer and there’s only maybe one location because now on may be very huge and may cover the west of the sumeru desert and all the way to the south.
The biggest thing making me not want to come back full-time and be sort of on and off. Is the resin system. If they added HSR’s system of reserved trail blaze power with the exact amount of reserves may be a bit more. Then I’d be happy and more than willing to come back to playing every two days. But without it, I’ll go a week come back do the events to get the primo gems then leave for a week, then come back. I’m excited for the Dainslief quest cause we do get a lore dump from the siblings and Khaenri’ah. But the events don’t really interest me anymore.
And right now I kind of want to focus on WutheringWaves. I’m having a lot of fun with the combat which I was worried about because combat like in WuWa is my kryptonite. I’m not really good at it, especially if there’s a delay with dodging or parrying or counterattacking. So you have to be more careful with what you’re doing. Which isn’t inherently a bad thing. It’s just some thing I’m not used to. But that was two days ago me. The me right now is starting to get used to it. And it’s actually fun once you get the hang of it.

you see wuwa is nothing more than a breather for genshin players until natlan drops. Because as you know most players are from genshin and they are just 'trying' the hyped game .
Its barely even been out, think when genshin first came out. It had like 3 weeks worth of content. Like WuWa. Its going to get more. Even jist looking at the map itself tells you that.
