You're nuts doing this on a Hayabusa instead of a 250, but congratulations, and thank you for showing your fellow Californians what to be prepared for! And I love the Mortal Kombat sound effects, glad there were no fatalities!
So cool that you used a Busa for the skills test and I sure the instructor had no clue. A DMV with an oil spill. Wow. Good role models huh. What city is this DMV located please?
did my test on a mopet and failed it twice....3rd time did it on my honda hornet 919 and passed it! lesson learned always do your test with your daily ride.
@@throttletube how can you take a skill test ? I passed written test, and visited DMV website but cannot book appointment online for a skill test, please advise
Just passed on my 23 R1 . I did the up shift in the little blocked off course. Try shifting a liter bike into second with only 75 feet🤣🤣 a pass is a pass🤣🤣
I have no clue as it was my first attempt. I reckon it was my leathers and my bike being three times my body weight he wanted to see me go in circles 😂 😂
The wrist muscles hurt if it's locked in the same position without any movement. So getting on the throttle alleviates that pain at least for me. Thank you for watching.
@@throttletube I completely understand, but as the hypothetical test giver, I have no understanding. Great video, none the less. Thumbs up coming your way. Thank you for posting it!!!! 👍🏾
Not really going fast is the part. Going slow while doing turns and knowing how to brake and put your feet down is really a good test. Decades ago when I got my endorsement I had to ride thru the streets on a prescribed course while a State Trooper followed me.

I took my test there 6 months ago and saw that same oil on the ground. Nice Rancho DMV.

@@caramel7123 it is the Rancho Cucamonga California location on hellman ave.
What seemed to be an oil spill was cleared. But I was concerned when I entered the testing range as soon as I saw that.
Good Job! Thanks for sharing the video. Taking mine next week.
Good luck 🤞🏽
@@throttletube Thanks!

I'm proud of you bro
You as well - thank you!
Really impressive about to take it on my 750 but the circles are still failing me when I drew it out with chalk any tips?
Take it slow and practice making circles out in a parking lot. Use your rear brakes. Practice you will get there.
You crushed it! 😈
Thank you 🙏🏽
I'd stall my bike with all those people sitting in line just watching lmao
you will be fine. be confident about yourself and use the skills you know.
Rancho should remove that planter the day I was there bees were in there next to my back tire in the hot summer.
Just the front wheel? Back can slightly come out? (California) can you confirm?
Yes
Did my test on my first gen busa. Passed without a single ding on anything :)
Also not sure why the test has you shift in a space that small with a bike that easily does 95 mph in 1st gear lol.
Congrats! Ride safe out there
Well done, man! Congrats!
Thanks!

@@trunglinhnguyen1815 I had to go to the DMV and make an appointment. Good luck!
@@throttletube walk in DMV office and make an appointment ?
@@trunglinhnguyen1815 yes I walked in to the DMV and made an appointment.
Is this the DMV in San Ysidro? That's where my test will be if it is.
Nice job!
Thank you 🙏🏽
@@throttletube passed mine 2 weeks ago.
Congratulations Chief Joe! Ride safe out there.

@@throttletube thanks brotha! Same to you!
Awkward testing area with trying to start against a curb. Congrats on passing!
Tell me about it. There was not even a few feet of space to create momentum on the beginning of the testing range.
Why did he have you do the slow ride circle ride twice? I have never seen anyone have to do that twice. It’s supposed to be a four part test.
I have no clue as it was my first attempt. I reckon it was my leathers and my bike being three times my body weight he wanted to see me go in circles 😂 😂
@throttletube plot twist the bike is only 270 pounds
Once in each direction I thought?
I'm having issues with circles on my busa
Are you referring to balancing in a circle?
Bikes heavier than 350 lbs. always have this problem. Took my test with a Harley Sportster.
I despise the slow straight line/turn it's so irritating to me lol you don't understand it's not as easy as it looks
It's tough I can attest to that!
Lmao randomly throttling while backing up in neutral
Haha Everything has a purpose. Nothing is random.
@@throttletube this is the way
Automatic fail. Too much of that unnecessary bullshit. Lucky I wasn't giving the test!

I stand corrected :) Thanks
@@throttletube and congratulations on passing 🎉🎉
I would of used yugioh instead of you failed it would be your a third rate duelist with a 4th rate deck
That’s so dumb for a test it’s not like your gonna spend your time going thru round abouts daily all day

It's not about d circle itself but testing that the skills necessary to keep the bike controlled during slow maneuvers are present.
