I can see that making a big difference holding the small tools, especially for guys with big hands.

For sure Wayne. This has made a big difference in the length of time I can tool leather. Certain stamps such as detail bevelers have shafts much smaller than this. Using these grips i don’t wake up with sore hands or have cramping issues while tooling.

Could you dye chrome tanned leather? Like the sunburst look?

I made something similar...smaller diameter plus a flat flap coming off.... think of a keyhole shape from the top view. Gives me better controll than a fat grip without needing to squeeze. I have really big hands. Mine are just friction fit and that's the downfall. They don't stay tight enough and have to be able to spin the tool because the grip is directional. I could improve it to make it right but meh. And those things look like they might be ok but I'm not paying 50 bux for something that requires so much fukn with to set it up. For 50 bux I don't want to waste time looking for a damn Allen key. If he figures out a chuck mechanism that'll cinch down I'll be a customer.

Thank you for watching the video and leaving your insightful comment. I have found these to be very useful and they take no time at all to switch between stamps. I keep the Allen key in the bag with the grips so I honestly never have to search for it.

Thank you for watching the video and taking the time to ask a question. These particular tools are sized only for stamps as you see them Demonstrated in the video. The opening would not be large enough to pass a beveler through. If you’re having a hard time holding your tool I know many people will wrap them in tape to make them bigger.
