    I have an almost identical 35' full wall slide Super C motorhome built on the Ford F-550 chassis. The manufacturer found out in 2015 that the dual Schwintek In-Wall Slide-out system was not strong and durable enough for a full-wall slide that had the kitchen in it. So in 2016 they introduced the triple Schwintek In-Wall Slide-Out System and that proved to be the proper solution. Renegade should look closely at their double design to see if their is reason to reconsider. I know there are many owners with the double Schwintek System that wish they had the triple.

    I wish this came in a left-hand drive version for the European markets with 220v systems... or just a left-hand drive version minus all the 110v appliances and the generator and the wineguard etc. In fact, I'd take it without the dinette and I'll use that space for a multi-screen gaming desk and a couple of gaming chairs which I can secure with elastic cords.

    The battery tray, electric system and generator are all on the passenger side... the same side you would be setting up your campsite on. This forces you to walk to the opposite side of the coach every time you want to access any storage areas. Since half of your storages areas are taken up with utility requirements, wouldn't it be better if all the utilities were placed on the drivers side and open up the storage on the passenger side???

  • @jjgoode01
    @jjgoode01 3 года назад +1

    Don't know if you still monitor these comments, but I can't get a straight answer on the question of cargo capacity for this unit (or 2021). How much 'stuff' can I carry after I fill the fuel and fresh water tanks? I'm also curious about whether you can get a locking (or limited slip?) rear differential from Ford. I love the layout, worry a bit about the weight in the single wall slide (reliability). I also think you missed an opportunity to add a big rear window!

  • @jamesc.boydjr.7859

    IMO, a diesel (Ford or Ram) with 4x4 is the only way to go with an RV 30 or more feet longer, because of their weight. My only dislikes about this model are there being only 3 windows, so it will still be somewhat dark during the day, and I didn't see and roof vents/fans.

  • @badgerpa9
    @badgerpa9 4 года назад +7

    May be I missed it but did you mention how many seatbelts it has? You often show the interior with the slide in and you will have people loose it like a 2 year old since you did not this time. Nice job each video will get a little easier, make a list of what you want to mention and go down the list each time helps. I owned a ford pickup once. The straight frame on the GM not work for this or no idea? Thanks though for the video, stay safe and healthy.

    What was the manufacturer's thinking on 100 gallons fresh water and only 90 gallons combined waste water?
    My guess would be you would have 10 gallons for flushing the waste tanks upon a waste dump evolution, but how do they reliably prevent overfilling both wastes tanks and making a potentially biohazardous mess?

    32:50 inside shot:(problem w/all these A or C or super C is unless u hve cab over +bunks or more than 40ft+ they don't really work for most non retired couples.) A 2nd bunk right under across the walk way from cab would fix this. Only way under 40ft u can hve a workable design. So 4by4 under 40ft front window not gray inside or out(don't care the yr) don't sweat the semi make, more Hp quicker launch^ & torque is always great. U shape or partial u min if dinette. 1 theater is still ok to make length work. Sketch it out trial & error but no other way poss other than 2nd story. Ultra high end not 1 slide even full.

    Renegade needs to determine an RVer involved in their layout planning. I do like no slide on the patio side, but then very little outside storage on the patio side. Move generator, batteries and things you shouldn't have to access while you're camping. On the 35MDS you have the TV set for best viewing from the dinette, not the couch/theater seats. I love the fit and finish of the Renegade product but the floorplans are poor. I'm a Ford fan but the Dodge chassis claim 400hp and 800 foot pounds of torque. Both are deal breaker.

    What is the headroom height in the Veracruz? Other super seas are running 6 foot 11 or 7 foot heights. Also I’ve asked this question before but when is renegade gonna put a full-size king-size bed in there super C Units? Chopping off 5 inches or 6 inches from the bottom of a king size bed makes that bed only usable for somebody that’s about 6 foot or below.

    Why is it salespeople avoid showing RVs with their slides in? Yes, we all know that it adds great space when out but, seriously I want to see what it's like when on the road. You put an effort into speaking about the chassis and that its a ford etc. Well, that speaks to it being on the road not at a campground. so that being said every RV video should spend 30 seconds showing what it looks like closed and how easy it is to use when traveling. I for one will be traveling and slide in will tend to be the status 90% of the time.
