Silken said Mercedes paint? I’ve been a painter for forty years. Mercedes doesn’t own Sikkens. You need to be careful trying to make things sound better or more important than they are. The clear isn’t cut and buffed between coats. It’s cut, then more clear sprayed, then the final coats are color sanded(cut) and buffed. Just a little information that you can fact check me on. I enjoyed the review, but to be honest, you really overdo it on your description. Just say what it is, and let people decide. Just my humble opinion.

MDF is heavier than wood so the manufacturer would not be saving weight by using MDF. They would save weight by using Particle board.
