So interesting to watch this again. I like how he sensibly talks about a plan for getting out of game. I see a few known PUAs well into their 40s who are obsessively talking about anti ageing methods, and twitter ‘pick up guys’ now in their early 40s talking about their very poor results, i.e. 1 date from 40 approaches(!) from a guy who claims to be a coach. It seems to me that these guys are in no man’s land having not made a plan for getting out by the time they’re middle aged. Like Janka says, the road narrows as you get older. As a 32 year old guy I am aiming to be out of the game and settled by my late 30s-early 40s, as like Janka I don’t necessarily want the lifestyle of an ageing bachelor either. Interesting to recently see Julien getting married in his 30s also. What are your thoughts looking back on this Chris, especially now that you’ve distanced yourself from the scene? I think Paul is a more helpful voice than the guys who talk of playing the field forever and don’t realise by 40+ they’re often put in a different ‘bracket’ by the sought after 18-25 year olds, and considered ‘the much older guy’. Would love to get your take all these years on, especially as I believe you’re a similar age to me and probably debating your moves for the next 5 years or so as well. I get it’s all a personal choice and there are definitely merits to avoiding the family life if you’re an introverted type who loves to travel, but I think the idea of being a player into your 40s and 50s could be full of frustration and regret for a lot of guys.
no one has seen all the English girls in England there are millions of them. like classes also your own life is conditioned, even in a club you may have missed many people there at the same time.
Very insightful interview. I adore Janka. He's tremendously intelligent and helpful. Certainly hope there'll be more of him in the future.
this was a very good discussion, thanks. I read, and I still read Paul's material, and I am 44 now..
