    Thank you for sharing these trade secrets! I always scratch my head at getting the finished look for image covers. Most of my covers are typography-based because I grew to dislike image manipulation but these tutorials make me want to try again.

    Looks very nice. I've been watching Gimp videos all weekend. And experimenting. The photo I want to use is huge. I have trouble getting it to stay over my transparent layer. It goes outside that boundary.

      You can adjust that by using the adjust tool and size it as you need. If there is any space between the top and bottom of the image, use the blend tool (fg to bg) and blend it into your background. I recommend filling the transparent layer with color first!

    Please do more Gimp I`ve using gimp for a year now ,the other guys get me lost with if you want this or you want that then I get lost what we were doing.
