Many thanks for posting this video. It's easy to learn how individual GIMP tools work but your video cleverly shows how you can combine them to achieve a really good result where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. You have a a really intriguing narrative style and a very pleasant speaking voice. I enjoyed listening and watching this video a lot and now feel ready to tackle my own book cover projects.

This is awesome. Was wondering if you were good with paperback book covers (front/back)? Reason being is because I have a paperback book ready to publish on KDP publishing but it got rejected because they said that the spine text and cover is too big. I was searching for videos and people who have skills in this area to see how I can fix this issue and go ahead and submit my book cover.
If you're familiar with the size dimensions of paperback book covers do you offer assistance in helping people resize the dimensions of the book cover so that it won't get rejected by KDP? I'm in dire need of assistance.

Hmmm, I’m not too sure about this, I’m not a professional so I don’t personally, however maybe it’s getting rejected because the text is going beyond the template’s borders? I’d definitely check out CreateSpace’s free cover template generator because it gives you all the guidelines for bleed etc so you know the exact dimensions you should be using for your trim size, page count etc. The CreateSpace forum might be able to help as well! Sorry I couldn’t help beyond that! Good luck :)
