MSD - Timing lights are second to none.

It turns out that you need both styles of timing lights. One for MSD boxes, like the 6AL, and one for vehicles that do not have a box. That is my humble opinion, after having interference problems (electronic waves) with a vehicle that did not have a box. The light was intermittent, and I knew that the light was good. After receiving the MSD inductive timing light, no issues. You've gotta have both because your time is too expensive to be delayed...at all.

Hmm. I have a 6AL box and not sure if I wanna buy the MSD.

If you have a battery in the trunk-type of vehicle, the non-inductive type is the way to go. Super convenient. I'm just reporting what happened to me, so I got both. I'd call them before you make up your mind. Got some type of interference.
