Hey Kyle. I don't have first hand experience as I don't live in Saskatchewan but I believe their winters are pretty vicious. They use a little salt on main hwys and in the cities but the main reason why they don't use a whole lot is because of the temperatures. On avg' their winter temps are much too cold for the salt to have any effect. Great channel. Take care.
The "old guy" from Ontario agrees !! Great advice my brother. Stay strong in your faith young men and never stop fighting the good fight. Take it from me, never stop !!!!! Great to see you Kyle. Give all the ladies a big hug from Niagara Falls ❤
About a month ago I bought an 08 ranger. A manual regular cab. Regular bed. Came from Texas so no rust. Wish I could find a 7' bed at the time. Love it so far. I live in Boston, so have to undercoat it.
There is nothing more practical than what us Aussies call a Ute “Utility vehicle”. Great pic up mate. Looking forward to watching the transformation. I remember when you were telling us of your brothers fabrication skills…..great job on the four wheeler.
I'm in SK and been looking for a truck just like that... though 4wd which are so pricey, can't find one for under $10k that doesn't have close to 300k kms and rusted out body.
Just picked up an 04 Chevy S10 4x4, V6. It lived 20 years in Michigan. Luckily it wasn’t driven much in the winter, and was mostly garaged the last several years. About as solid as an old MI truck can be. Good luck with yours, and keep up the good work!
My first car in high school was a 1954 Chevy Belair that was my grandfather’s.
My first car in high school was a 1988 ford ranger:)

We picked up a 99 ranger few years back with only 45k miles on it Ran awesomefor the 4 years we had it until i rolled it last year 🙃
do you head to Springdale, Deer Lake or Corner Brook for your part runs? or the other way to GFs
What a wonderful thing to be able to work with your family as you're doing.
Idk if this would help but if it was coated in a rubber paint would that solve the rusting problem

Man, I haven't seen an S10 in a lot of years, and that one was completely rotted. Great little trucks!
Be on the lookout for a rollback. Another money maker
Take care Kyle
