You can as so tap your samsung soundbar to play music. 2. Use Bixby to turn your TV on or off as well as open any apps you. Since I have children. They always lose the remote. 3 Yes, you can give you your phone as remote 4Yes you can use your earbuds to listen to the TV without waking anyone up. The difference 1 on my QLED The brightness is really bright if near a windows it adjust to the brightness according to the lighting in the room. Comes so handy at night when the brightness levels are turned down so your eyes don't fall out, haha 2. The picture quality is out of this world. On my samsung. I think it dumb to go out and buy the apple box. If you already have a smart TV. That dose 4k. The ios is okay I guess. Apple just make things user friendly stuff. Samsung gives you more bells and whistles. Yeah maybe the software might be clunky every once in awhile thats if your push a split screen action with multiple windows. Take that in the face apple. There are is much more things going for a samsung TV than Apple box. Just think about it when has Apple actually ever built a TV. Samsung is wayyyy ahead.

I don’t know, but you can count on Apple to keep updating it for years to come while the Chromecast with Google TV can hardly handle its Home Screen.
@@jayhawker03 I have an Apple TV 4K (1st gen) and I like it but HATE the remote, also a Roku 4K Stick and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (latest gen). All work very well regardless of which chipset is the most powerful. The only advantage Apple has is the no ads, but literally costs 5X what I paid for the Amazon products. Just not worth it IMO.
@@Greg29 Yeah that’s fair. Amazon does do a good job with their android implementation but the Google TV launcher ran so poorly on their own hardware I had to get something else. Apple TV’s from 10 years ago are still getting updates which I don’t think will be said for many other competitors so in that sense it can be worth it. All the rumors for the next gen Apple TV point to a price cut, hopefully that happens.
I like that i no longer need the remote of my tv and soundbar. Everything is controlled by the siri remote. You would forget that apple tv is just a setup box. It feels like it’s the tv itself.
Definitely gonna be buying it. My tv has a full second of input delay, horrible os, remote that actually fucking broke when I dropped it, and has an unusable remote app that takes like 5 minutes to connect every time. And when it randomly does a countdown to go to sleep (not a setting you can turn off), I have to frantically refresh the app so it connects in time for me to cancel

I love that I can pair just about any remote to the TV or your phone and just use that as the remote. I lost the Siri Remote (died and left it somewhere) and now I just use the native remote, or if I’m too lazy to pick it up and feeling a lil spicy I’ll just use my phone. They’re the gold standard
What else can it do? My OLED tv has a pretty quick built-in chip. It has no lag when I switch from Netflix to Amazon Prime video. I’m only debating on this coz it can be my central hub for SmartHome. I don’t want another remote in the living room :/

I actually just ordered one. A buddy of mine has one hooked up to his 8K theater TV and I have to say I was VERY impressed with the picture quality. I’m sure it was partially due to his TV processing, but the image was incredible! Some would say yes given the upgraded A15 chip vs the A12 chip, which is quite an large improvement. I guess if you’d like to be more “future proof”, then yes. If you’re fine with the performance of the current one you have (which is still great with performance, then maybe not worth it). Personally in my opinion you could always just buy the new generation and you’ll still have your current one, and you can put your current one in a different room if you can afford it. Really come down to the financial situation.
No, for me, i use both apple tv hd with a8 and the first apple tv 4k with a10x fusion. I see that the apple hd is fine but the apple tv 4k is extremely fine. All these are older than yours so i see you dont need to get one, or just wait some weeks bc the next apple tv is coming and it seems it will get the iphone 15 pro’s chip and play some games “that is what i wish”.
Yeah no none of this is a new feature, Bluetooth audio pairing has been around forever. What’s notable is the seamlessness of AirPods pairing to things. They can hop from device to device based on where audio is playing from with no configuration at all. Maybe you can do that with Samsung buds on a Samsung TV, but if you have Samsung Buds and an LG TV, you’d be out of luck as Samsung doesn’t have a set top box.

I can pause a TV show, play a video from social media on my iPhone and the Air Pods automatically jump from device to device based on context alone. Not to mention the ability to facetime friends with an iPhone as the camera to watch shows and movies together. There's capability for others to do this, but damn Apple makes it smooth.
yeah, as someone who also has a Samsung Neo QLED TV the Apple TV is 10x faster than the smart tv itself, and that's coming from someone with a relatively new Samsung TV (2021). The smart TV interface is just so insanely slow and unresponsive compared to the Apple TV.
You can pair it so then when you turn on your Apple TV it will switch to the source and also when you power it off it will turn off your tv. You just have to have a TV with hdmi cec
What do you mean turn on and off? Turning off the apple tv box does turn on and off the tv if that's what you mean...and you can set screensavers on a timer if you want to keep it on. LG C2 myself

Just unpackaged it. Enjoyed it all evening and all night. Question though. If I watch something on my phone and cast it to the Apple TV, does it eat up my battery? Or does the heavy processing go to the tv? I know some battery gets eaten up simply giving us a UI on both the control center and Apple Watch though.
I mean the Apple TV 4K has the perfect remote, it’s like the chrome cast remote, but with actually good volume buttons and without the assistant button being front and centre. Plus more importantly it has the sliding which is so much faster to navigate with, and an actual play/pause button Combine that with the smooth interface and I’m never going back to using a chrome cast with googletv Also my $5000AUD tv has ads built in and that’s why I need one of these in the first place

Apple TV is terrible. Phone app keeps opening constantly when trying to us the TV remote, and siri incorrectly finishes your searches. Horrible experience. Would not recommend if your TV is already smart.

@@8kytiiit’s worth it if your TV has a trash OS. I’ve used my Vizio for years and it has every app and AirPlay but the Home Screen is littered with ads and pop ups that I couldn’t care less about. It’s also very slow and bugs out regularly so I have to always unplug it for a hard reset. Once I got the Apple TV 4K all those problems went away the moment I hooked it up. If you go the extra mile and hook it up via Ethernet cord all your content loads in the blink of an eye & AirPlay/Screen mirroring works seamlessly with your iPhone. Definitely worth it

Once I got the Apple TV 4K all those problems went away the moment I hooked it up. If you go the extra mile and hook it up via Ethernet cord all your content loads in the blink of an eye & AirPlay/Screen mirroring works seamlessly with your iPhone. Definitely worth it
