@@goomie9757 Exactly. In the comics, Johnny Blaze's and most of the other riders' powers were powered by the Spirit of Vengeance. @dont fucc with me im an otter If you actually watched the show or even paid attention to this video, you would have seen that this version of Robbie has an actual Spirit of Vengeance inside him. He got the spirit from Johnny Blaze. And while he may not be able to use the penance stare, at least as far as we've seen him, he's strong, he can heal pretty much any injury, when he transforms nothing can hurt him, his car is indestructible, he can create portals akin to sling ring portals with his chain, and his flames damage the soul and can't be healed from. So he's far from weak. Not to mention, he's never lost a fight so far.
@dont fucc with me im an otter What are you talking about? You were going on about this version of Reyes being weak and not an actual Ghost Rider. Were you joking or were you serious and now acting like you knew?
9:38 if u look closely at ghost Riders hands u can see a bit of the bones exposed. I was wondering if they would leave Robbie's hand human cause part of his gloves are exposed but nope they went through the effort of adding that little detail.
Unlike the previous Ghost Riders, who rode on motorcycles, Robbie Reyes drives a black 1969 Dodge Charger R/T which he refers to as the Hell Charger. The Hell Charger is linked to the Ghost Rider, allowing Robbie in his Ghost Rider form to instantly teleport to and/or merge with the car.
Josef Henokh in the comics Robbie's uncle is a Saitan worshiper and a killer that died, and his soul went into Robbie's when Robbie died next to the Charger
That's cause he wasn't an actual inhuman the patriot with super strength, he used a serum authorized by general talbot and president ellis which was a modified version of the serum used by daisy's father
same, I gave up cuz season 1 was weak, but I saw the promo for ghost rider and binged the first 3 seasons in a week, gotta admit it got pretty good too
@Kebz It's rough because I honestly enjoy season 1, it's not even that it's badly written, but it has sooooo little appeal that if you don't have very specific tastes I can't blame them or anyone for dropping it. And lord knows they felt the impact of that slow start across the entire rest of the show's time on the air. But I'm glad to see people binging it nowadays and finally giving it the recognition it deserves, because it really is such a great show.
Eric Monfils As far as I'm aware, they did/are. With the little research I just did it seems like fox is happy with Disney's offer despite Comcast also throwing in a bid. But take that with a grain of salt. I got a cousin working there and from what I understand its pretty much a done deal. Just don't give your hopes up cus you never know if things might change. I'll see if I can get anymore definitive info
The Netflix platform has the shot of doing this character right and Netlix actually has an extremely deep budget. Look at some of their originals like Altered Carbon.
Netflix barley has the budget for SuperStrength, SuperJump and a glowing fist.... If they did GhostRidder he most likley only transform once in the whole show.....
Penance Stare is not the only finisher. Ghost Rider has many ways to beat or even kill his enemies without using Penance Stare. For example, he can use his hellfire to burn his enemies into dust in a second.
I still can't get over how good the cgi is for it though. To be honest, I'd say it's movie quality for my standard and to see it in a TV show, That's awesome! Huge thanks for sfx team for doing this stellar work
@@parmelar there are other ghost riders not just one. This is a different ghost rider and he doesnt get it from the devil and its not Johnny Blaze either or its not a reboot of him either, its a different character, different ghost rider. Damn Robbie Reyes, not Johnny Blaze. You'll still have Johnny blaze. And plus they are making a hulu series of this Ghost Rider.
I guess it's that thing of actors who have left their mark on the character. Robert Downy jr. As Tony Stark/Iron Man, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Will Smith as Agent J, Jim Carrey as The Mask, Robin Williams as Genie.
He's actually closer to a angel punisher of crimes. He is the spirit of vengeance. He punishes evil doers. A demon tends to be more malicious in their actions. Just saying. But agreed. Robbie Reyes is dope as fuck
For everyone who's saying "Ghost Driver" the name comes from the fact that the Spirit of Vengeance, something Robbie actually has in the show, hitches a ride on the person who is the rider. It has nothing to do with the damn vehicle. Robbie Reyes is badass, who gives a shit if he drives a car, which by the way, also looks badass when covered in hellfire. Robbie is a true Ghost Rider in the show, he's not bonded to his uncle's spirit like he is in the comics, he's bonded to an actual Spirit of Vengeance.
Why was he bonded to his uncle? That makes no fucking sense even if he was a Satan worshipper I just realized that we were talking about the comics. They never make sense
The 1969 Dodge Charger R/T is one of the coolest cars ever made and I am SOOOO HAPPY that Robbie drives one. The moments where its covered in hellfire are some of my favorite of any movie or TV show! LOVE THAT CAR!!!!!😍😍😍
@@woofwoof7696 in the comics, he inherited the car from his uncle and when he went to drive it his uncle's soul which is bound to the car possess him turning him into a rider. Plus I liked the idea of having multiple ghost riders like spawn from Dc, in fact ghost riders nemesis such as the jack-o'-lantern and vengeance are practically different ghost riders. Also any piece of a supernatural entity, a demon, an angel even just a human soul can become a spirit of vengeance.
Ceelker yeah, the best part of the movies was when he was punishing people. Wish that they did the penance stare, but then I wish that I could do the penance stare [Imagine how cool it would be to walk right up to really evil people and destroy them with a look? You never have to be scared of anyone], so all in all I like this.
@@ericiskoolbeans7062 nah it’s canon, but the show made it to where they essentially ended up in another timeline. so it’s not with the current continuity, but everything in it exist in some way in the main timeline is my takeaway
Maybe another Ghost Rider. They could have all of the Ghost Riders in the MCU. Nicholas Cage's one is Johnny Blaze, you have Robbie Reyes on Aos. Then you could have Danny Ketch, the Phantom Rider (white ghost rider) and have three ghost riders. It would be cool.
BenTian39 i dont think they will have the budget for a netflix series, hope marvel goes on a dark direction to set up a ghost rider movie, james wan (aquaman) and David f sandberg (shazam) are the 2 directors that can make a good GR movie epic since they are great at directing horror movies
Will never happen. A movie would be the better choice. Robbie's Rider is already introduced as a character in the MCU, so he doesn't need an origin story, which is nice and I also believe sooner or later the big movies will take a step into rated r movies, if the character needs it to represent him as close as possible to his comic book counter part. But don't expect a ghost rider tv show, since the budget would be overkill for it.
It's sad that the makers didn't have the budget to have Ghost Rider with more screentime. Hope someone in Marvel makes a Ghost Rider Netflix original with the perfect budget!
Actually he had long time on the show- I mean the scenes where he is using his powers are something like 10 minutes ad he was only on 8 episodes, Daisy/Quake which is the main character on the show for entire 3 season was using her powers also something like 10 minutes. Plus Netflix can do bloody and violent shows but they have much smaller budget that ABC can give for their tv shows. In Marvel/Netflix they barely use any powers, Jessica Jones- she had only one or two expensive scenes is whole season, or better example Iron Fist- well... both story and effects suck and again maybe two expensive scenes and the rest was poor special effects or episodes without any special effects.
Netflix has no budget, Ironfist used his fist like 6 times, and that was only ligth CGI, GhostRider ate up half of AOS' budget, and thats considering they have like 10x more budget
the show is dying probably because the assholes will not mention them in the movies at all they can mention them in the shows a thousand times but not even one mention of the Netflix show's that are "apart" of the mcu
Don't get me wrong, I love Quake, both as a character and having a sweet set of powers... But she is not even on the same power scale as Ghost Rider, and it shows when after he changes, it takes him like three seconds to take her down. Why can't the bring this version of the Rider into the Marvel movies? I hear that he could be a bit of a help against Thanos....
NYLT 17-3 Thanos had the infinity stones which are useless in face to face fight with a rider, cause nobody can esvape from the devil and gates of the hell, and the cool thing is that if blaze would fight him he could get a "free kill" on thanos cause he has the veangence soul
heidden 4life Nigga Thanos with Infinity Gauntlet literally made the Devil his Bitch, remember Ebony Maw "Squidward" In the movies, he is the replacement for the devil in the comics, I guess Marvel thought it was too dark to make the Devil Thanos's servant.
You don't feel regret, you just feel their pain. Remember nothing can even bother a rider unless it came from heaven so The Infinity Gauntlet is useless against Ghost Rider.
@Fijian Tijian I think you mixed up facts on this. There is a storyline where someone went to the past to kill Thanos with the Penance Stare. But since Thanos was very young, maybe a baby, he had not yet committed evil so he wasn't vulnerable to it.
he needs spin-off but not on Netflix, I mean Netflix can do bloody and brutal without any borders but they budget sucks, in Marvel/Netflix they barely use any powers, Jessica Jones- she had only one or two expensive scenes is whole season, or better example Iron Fist- well... both story and effects suck and again maybe two expensive scenes and the rest was poor special effects or episodes without any special effects
Optik Muestic I didn't like the outfit choice personally though, I mean when does Ghost Rider wear vans and the jacket doesn't seem right but eh he's still a good actor and he plays Ghost Rider well it's just off to me
Nathaniel Palladino This is a younger and more modern Ghost Rider. That's why he's dressed that way. I actually think it's pretty cool. But that's just my opinion.
Guys u say give him a Netflix series but the truth is if u do that ur gonna see probably even less of him than u do now. Remember Netflix has a certain budget and I think doing ghost riders head costs alot. Idk exactly but going by how the Netflix shows work ur barely gonna see him in ghost rider form and during the second half of the season they'll come up with a way in which he temporarily loses his powers and can't use them for a few episodes then in the final episode he'll go all out. That's like the pattern if the Netflix. They barely use their powers when they really should. Look at iron fist he barely uses his iron fist In that show
true, ghost rider is a big theme in the first half of aos s4, but they actually don't show him that often. same with hive from season 3. they show you, here is the ghost rider in all his glory, but they don't use him a lot/over-use him.
Justin Mercado , agree, Netflix only has a fixed budget for all marvel shows. Iron fist proved that they had to be frugal with CGI budget. I learned to appreciate AoS even more after Netflix screwed up the IF so much..
+TheCrazyKid1381 Netflix finances some shows- although they don't own the studios I believe, they just commission the shows- that's why they have shows called 'Netflix Originals'. But that is usually stuff like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, not exactly big CGI budget stuff. They do have shows with a fair bit of CGI, but it's much less than you'd get on nearly any channel like HBO/AMC/etc, and it's often worse too. For example, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Grimm. Neftlix shows usually have very good writing, and some quality physical effects, but very little in the way of computer generated effects. Kinda like Supernatural. So not in any way suitable for Ghost Rider. GR needs to be HBO or AMC. They're the ones with the budgets AND the propensity for gory violence.
That's cause he wasn't an actual inhuman the patriot with super strength, he used a serum authorized by general talbot and president ellis which was a modified version of the serum used by daisy's father
To be perfectly honest; was a bit disappointed we didn't get to see a Ghost Rider-enhanced shotgun-axe while Mack was the Ghost Rider. Otherwise, lovin' this portrayal of the spirit of vengeance.
Read the word "Mack" and immediately got the mental image of the Ghost Rider driving an 18 wheeler. I'd still prefer a bike any day, but damn that'd be a great 1-off.
Hopefully Marvel either reboots Ghost Rider with films that are actually good, or simply let him appear alongside the Avengers film storyline. I'd still want Johnny Blaze though, with a motorbike. More like the second movie, without all the cheesy cliche stuff his costume and bike had in the first film. The overdone stuff that works in comics but looks bad in real life. Of course, the most obvious part, keep Nicolas Cage far away from any possible return.
Yeah, they can give Johnny Blaze a movie in maybe Phase 4 (that is MUCH better than the Nic Cage movies). And while we wait for that, Robbie can get his own spin-off show alongside the Defenders. Hopefully Marvel does something like this, the character is awesome and should stick around.
It's kinda the same thing like the fantastic 4, they still exist, but because Marvel can't make moves off them, they stopped making Ghost Rider comics, it's why they created this new Ghost Rider, they know people love the character, so they made Robbie, who is for the most part, a duplicate.
The first Ghost Rider movie beats some Marvel films out of the water. It's actually really good. I want them (if they decide to give him his own netflix series) to give him the costume he had after the jail scene in the first Ghost Rider movie, with the same motorcycle. He was a complete badass.
Am I the only one who's come back to this video repeatedly and only recently noticed a massive uptake in the number of haters? Seriously where did all the hate come from? This Ghost Rider was the best interpretation I've ever seen.
Drew Sparks Give people a place where they can complain, and they will complain. The people are haters because they want to be haters, a lot of the time.
Not really a Ghost *Rider* if he's driving a car, and the skull looks like some high tech terminator shit, there's more things to complain about, anything in existence has people complaining, everybody just shares their opinions
@Satan If you know absolutely anything about the comics, the "Rider" part of Ghost Rider doesn't refer to his vehicle. Where on earth did you get that from? It refers to how the Spirit of Vengeance "rides" on your soul, clinging to it. Plus, Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider doesn't use a bike? He uses the Hell Charger, a car.
According to lore the "true" Ghost Rider has literally limitless strength. The human vessels that contain him just can't handle it so the spirit of vengeance is only capable of using a fraction of it's full strength. So yeah, a fully powered Ghost Rider could have busted out of the box in one hit.
yhea the human is his limiter one time the human who was contorling ghost rider got knocked out by hulk and then all hell broke lose cause the limiter was no longer in there to stop ghost riber from doing what ever the fck he wants he almost destory the city thank goodness the human woke up lol.

Dimas Zulfikar because this ghost “driver” didn’t make a deal with the devil actually he was passed on the spirit of vengeance from Johnny Blaze and that’s what gives him the penance stare even in the comics he doesn’t have the penance stare but it was given to him in a slightly different manner

Were you joking or were you serious and now acting like you knew?
dont fucc with me im an otter damn you’re stupid lol
robbie reyes CAN do the penance stare, but everytime he does this he gets a scar on his skull, as you can see in the film. He just seldom does it.
9:38 if u look closely at ghost Riders hands u can see a bit of the bones exposed. I was wondering if they would leave Robbie's hand human cause part of his gloves are exposed but nope they went through the effort of adding that little detail.
Nice! Didnt notice that.
It would be really disappointing if ghost rider didn't have skeletal hands
Good eye 9:40
Unlike the previous Ghost Riders, who rode on motorcycles, Robbie Reyes drives a black 1969 Dodge Charger R/T which he refers to as the Hell Charger. The Hell Charger is linked to the Ghost Rider, allowing Robbie in his Ghost Rider form to instantly teleport to and/or merge with the car.
Gee thanks, never would have figured this out from the video, what with the very 1st scene of him driving a Dodge Charger and everything.
@Covert Cam he's right. It's obvious unless you're blind or weren't paying attention. No need to get upset.

I know it's dumb, but I miss the bike. I mean, he's more of a Ghost Driver than a Ghost Rider.

Trisket robbie isn't original Ghost Rider, robbie just made a deal with original ghost rider when robbie get an accident...Sorry for my bad english

Josef Henokh in the comics Robbie's uncle is a Saitan worshiper and a killer that died, and his soul went into Robbie's when Robbie died next to the Charger

It's disappointing that they cancelled ghost rider series.

@ true dat, breaking bad was slow but got hella good
Lmao this is why I watched the show too
@Kebz It's rough because I honestly enjoy season 1, it's not even that it's badly written, but it has sooooo little appeal that if you don't have very specific tastes I can't blame them or anyone for dropping it. And lord knows they felt the impact of that slow start across the entire rest of the show's time on the air. But I'm glad to see people binging it nowadays and finally giving it the recognition it deserves, because it really is such a great show.
Me too, and I actually got into the series, and if Coulson cheats death one more time, I swear to God I am gonna quit
Ghost Rider : Hey, are u one of my fans?
The Punisher : Why do u ask?

Max Samuel well, vengeance drives them. Seems legit
Max Samuel at one point in the comics The punisher becomes the ghost rider, and teams up with thanos, it’s pretty dope they pretty much kill everyone
Max Samuel true doe
Now THAT would be a MCU crossover!
Max Samuel - At first I didn't get it but now I do!! Lol

Penance Stare is not the only finisher. Ghost Rider has many ways to beat or even kill his enemies without using Penance Stare. For example, he can use his hellfire to burn his enemies into dust in a second.
I don't think this ghost rider has the penance stare or maybe he just doesn't use it for some stupid reason.
I still can't get over how good the cgi is for it though. To be honest, I'd say it's movie quality for my standard and to see it in a TV show, That's awesome! Huge thanks for sfx team for doing this stellar work

Hey don’t shit on Diablo!!!
Which demon dc introduced besides mallus. And constantine demons are way more badass in the show
I think diablo was better tbh big fan of ghost rider though
Diablo isn't the same as ghost rider. Stfu
MrAutobot390 Ghost Rider vs Shadow King
IMO the doge charger that Robbie drives is cooler than most motorcycles would be
Why was he bonded to his uncle? That makes no fucking sense even if he was a Satan worshipper
I just realized that we were talking about the comics.
Also any piece of a supernatural entity, a demon, an angel even just a human soul can become a spirit of vengeance.

then ghost rider proceeds to BEAT DAREDEVIL TO A PULP
Daredevil: They call me the devil.

It's ionic though, how the Punisher doesn't punish people but kills them. Whereas Daredevil, a devil who you'd think would kill, doesn't kill a fly.

Wish that they did the penance stare, but then I wish that I could do the penance stare [Imagine how cool it would be to walk right up to really evil people and destroy them with a look?

A movie would be the better choice.
Robbie's Rider is already introduced as a character in the MCU, so he doesn't need an origin story, which is nice and I also believe sooner or later the big movies will take a step into rated r movies, if the character needs it to represent him as close as possible to his comic book counter part.
But don't expect a ghost rider tv show, since the budget would be overkill for it.
i am more for johnny Blaze. I am sorry but a flameing harley is cooler than a muscle car to me
1:02 you can see the terror in her eyes. Amazing acting
Budget has been reduced for Season 5
the show is dying probably because the assholes will not mention them in the movies at all they can mention them in the shows a thousand times but not even one mention of the Netflix show's that are "apart" of the mcu
Ghost rider need his own show *fasstt!* it will definitely be popular.
@@heiddenmks4490 he is in the mcu, but he cant go to the space, and know nothing about wakanda
@Fijian Tijian I think you mixed up facts on this. There is a storyline where someone went to the past to kill Thanos with the Penance Stare. But since Thanos was very young, maybe a baby, he had not yet committed evil so he wasn't vulnerable to it.
Pyro:I can burn/kill everyone with my flametower
Ghost Rider:hold my petrol
There's one that comes from hell to burn your soul, then there's a guy with his skull on fire

Antonio Gonzalez no shit that's what I've been saying and it needs to be on Netflix.
he needs spin-off but not on Netflix, I mean Netflix can do bloody and brutal without any borders but they budget sucks, in Marvel/Netflix they barely use any powers, Jessica Jones- she had only one or two expensive scenes is whole season, or better example Iron Fist- well... both story and effects suck and again maybe two expensive scenes and the rest was poor special effects or episodes without any special effects

Nathaniel Palladino This is a younger and more modern Ghost Rider. That's why he's dressed that way. I actually think it's pretty cool. But that's just my opinion.
Nathaniel Palladino it’s not Johnny blaze, this is Robbie there’s different ghost riders...

Nathaniel Palladino It's Robbie Reyes, his comic was released in 2014. He wears the exact same jacket in those comics as he does in the show.
Nothing but respect for MY Ghost Rider.
The actor and his brother are looking exactly like the one in the comics, that's a really nice touch
+TheCrazyKid1381 Netflix is 20mil in debt mostly b/c of netflix originals.. lol they dont just stream.
Justin Mercado agreed

To be perfectly honest; was a bit disappointed we didn't get to see a Ghost Rider-enhanced shotgun-axe while Mack was the Ghost Rider. Otherwise, lovin' this portrayal of the spirit of vengeance.
As a none-fan of AoS, this Ghost Rider is really cool. My only complaint is that the Spirit of Vengeance is past around like a bong at a hipster house
Read the word "Mack" and immediately got the mental image of the Ghost Rider driving an 18 wheeler.
I'd still prefer a bike any day, but damn that'd be a great 1-off.
2:40 when Ghost rider decides Quake is worthy to live. Love this moment!
Hopefully Marvel does something like this, the character is awesome and should stick around.
too be honest I don't think Johny Blaze is the Ghost Rider in the MCU anymore.
It seems as that he gave the spirit of vengeance to Robbie.
It's kinda the same thing like the fantastic 4, they still exist, but because Marvel can't make moves off them, they stopped making Ghost Rider comics, it's why they created this new Ghost Rider, they know people love the character, so they made Robbie, who is for the most part, a duplicate.
BJ Vynz im pretty sure hes going to be in infinity war

Drew Sparks No bike.

Ghost Rider, Punisher, Carnage, and Deadpool
Xerin Knightwalker I like all them equally actually, mainly because I can't find out which one I like better
Xerin Knightwalker idl carnahe fucking psycho. Venom is relatable
Agents of Shield, Defenders, Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers better have a crossover
I want Ghost Rider in Infinity War
Xmen also wolverine plays a pretty large role in the Infinity War comic
He doesn't do the stare? Missed potential
read the comics... not all Ghost Rider have power of penance stare... this one has teleportation insead
bifa Robbie Reyes can do it now, He one shotted starbrand with it in marvel legacy.
Dude read the comics
bifa sooo if he has teleportation why he use a fucki... car?? Heis 1diot or what?
Diamond Martinez portals to hell 👹.
One of COOLEST thing of GHOST RIDER is his ability to transform any vehicles/Bike/ even animals eg. A horse " FIERY and POWERFUL ".
Ghost rider was the only reason I watched agents of shield
I watched Agents of Shield for Coulson, Quake and Ghost Rider.
Why is this ghost rider don't burn someone soul by seeing on his eyes? Just like the old one?
Dimas Zulfikar because this ghost “driver” didn’t make a deal with the devil actually he was passed on the spirit of vengeance from Johnny Blaze and that’s what gives him the penance stare even in the comics he doesn’t have the penance stare but it was given to him in a slightly different manner
Maclain Trepanier
He's still a ghost rider not driver
Cryaxe nooooo really?!? I was making a very obvious pun because he doesn’t ride a bike anymore and instead drives a car
Maclain Trepanier he drives a car in the comics
YungNickyyP I don’t understand the point to your comment I said that he drives a car I know he drives a car too I’ve read the comics
Charlie Hunam as Johnny Blaze, Netflix, What do you think.
That's not bad, but I feel like he's gotten a bit old.
Jensen Ackles.
Michael Lorah. Who's that?
Julio Venegas Dean Winchester from Supernatural. I think he'd be a good Johnny Blaze if they set his character for late 1960s into the 1970s.
Julio Venegas Norman Reedus
1:30 I like to think that this scene is commemorating the scene in the movie Christine about a killer car where with almost the same camera angles a character name I think Moochie killed the same way, except the car squeezed into a tight little space where he was hiding and then killed him
Now THIS is ghost rider. Dark, merciless, and that entrance in the beginning.
Is it a bad thing that I actually WANT to be a Ghost Rider, specifically with the Angel of Justice riding alongside me in my own 2007 Dodge Charger? I definitely wanna burn like Robbie does in this. Badass till the end.
Your not alone, mate. I want to strike fear in the hearts of criminals as Ghost Rider. It'd be awesome.
@@glitch3818 The only downside is that I have to want vengeance for something, and strike a deal with the Insane Angel.
Bad? no funny? Yes
You don’t want to do this
SÍ mon
his spanish is so bad
yea the spanish makes me cringe.
Su español no es malo
Reario Lince Galactico no es malo, es horrible
He just talks with that voice so it makes his Spanish seem weird... I mean the actor is hispanic
Fury : Avengers , We got Ghost Rider on the loose !
Ironman : It's time , Point break !
Thor : STFU !

This is the first ever ghost rider that has actually been scary
It wasn’t scary at all.......
So the second one didn’t scare you if he roared and stared into your fucking soul
Sharan Mudda not really but the second one was
Sharan Mudda how dare you insult the glorious Nicholas cage and his godly acting
Sharan Mudda I know I was joking...
And the guys in the prison are like, “Nope!!!!! Get back in our cells or he’ll kill us!!!!!!”
Ghost Rider needs it's own rated R movie and let it be a horror film
5:36 they went right back in they cells 🤣🤣🤣
this ghost rider rocks !!!!
Shonok Rohan 😎
