Lovely boat, and like the slightly higher internal head height. These videos are so much smoother and more polished than similar channels. One day I'll find my perfect boat...
I like that! The amount of space feels like a 70 footer. I'd still put the saloon at the stern of a Semi Trad, but galley at the back seems to be the norm...
It's a nice boat. Which means it's got no big faults, or big bonuses. It's a good, capable boat which you could move into with little problem. I just don't like the cassette loo, the dinette (though having the seat closest to the saloon reverseable is a plus), and a few other quibbles, but these are personal. Most people probably have different ideas, anyway. Price is kind of high, but that's the market
For your information HMS Pickle had an illustrious story after the Battle of Trafalgar, 1805. She was a Topsail Schooner under the command of Lt Lapenotiere and acted as a message despatch boat scuttling between the Ships of the Line . On the battle being concluded Pickle was charged with taking the message to the Admiralty in London. There was in fact a handsome prize for the person bringing the intial news. During the voyage Pickle did compete with another 'unofficial' schooner and in order to gain ground she offloaded her cannon and landed at Falmouth where Lapenotiere took a 36 hour journey in a Post-Chaise and arrived at the Admiralty around midnight. He was eventually taken to the The First Sea Lord who lived nearby to announce 'A Great Victory'. Pickle was wrecked off Cadiz in 1808. So your canal boat with its name has an illustrious past. Britannia Rules the Waves.
@@EASYTIGER10 I could buy a house on fair size property and renovate it, but unfortunately I cannot put it on the canal. 😊 so I guess I would have to go with the boat.
I’m seeing a lot of boats coming up for sale at the moment where I also think, Wow thats overpriced - and then a day later, just like this one, already sold.. and thats the reality. They’re all worth what someone will pay, and when there’s people queuing up to pay these prices, it turns out that they are worth that after all. I’d love to find something like this at 85k. Right now, not gonna happen. The 85k boats are the ones I’m thinking Nah thats a 55k boat, and I’m just as wrong on those too. The mad truth is that this at 119 is still better value than the cheaper boats, which are probably 10-15 yrs older, no refleks, less solar, far less of a known quantity, vastly higher engine hours, single glazing, the list goes on and yet theyre still 3/4 of the money. As a buyer - It’s frustrating!!
@@artfulcodgerSad truth is boats have simply got very pricy in last 5 years. Long gone are the days you could get a special boat for 58 grand they are all 85 grand plus and if you want a nearly new boat a 100 grand plus . We just need to buy a winning lottery ticket like my neighbour did couple of years ago…….he won 4.5 million. First thing he bought was a car at 167 grand I would be down to Tyler’s/ braidbar buying a new diesel electric hybrid with a full fit out in reclaimed oak with all the bells and whistles 😂
Noticed that myself, all the upholstery stained and filthy, if I was a broker, I would be having all that professionally cleaned before adding a video asking 120 grand
@Chef2866 exactly. Very sloppy presentation. Probably had it too easy for too long, and complacency has set in. I'd be ashamed to video this boat and present it to potential buyers in its current state. Shame, because it's a lovely boat but I wouldn't let my dog sleep in there.

Maybe the Narrator should pop down to "Spec Savers" and have a check up...absolutely immaculate inside...hahahahahaha

Gorgeous.

Fantastic boat
This maybe my fantasy boat.

If you wanted to remove the sofa bed, how the heck would you get it out??
Drrrrrr take it apart Einstein
Probably the same way it came in
I can see why you love this boat so much. 2 million doors to open ... lol
£119,950
Where I live you can buy a flat for that money!

85k all day. Not a penny more

120k is a bit rich but it's fitted out very nicely.
Really nice boat but must be overpriced. What spoilt it for me is the upholstery is filthy and you would need to make cleaning it your very first job.
Indeed. £120,000 for a filthy boat. No, thanks.
Might sound like a nutty price but someone will probably pay that or close to it. The market is what it is.
@seniorslaphead8336 yep, agreed. Just difficult to understand why someone would put a boat on the market in that filthy state.
