For a smaller boat, it has everything needed! The rust in the bottom of the engine room would need looking at - but it would make an ideal family holiday boat!
Not a huge amount of difference when using on the canals, a flat bottomed boat is more stable when stepping on/off and moving about inside also when another boat goes by, you do get more floor height width inside which helps. A V-shaped hull is generally what you see on the ocean, large open bodies of water that are subject to waves(so they can cut through them) and fast flowing rivers as a v- hull will be faster. V- hulls are a little bit more tricky when taking out of the water and putting on the hard stand for maintenance. Springer made V-hull steel narrowboats from the late 1960's to the early 1990's and there's still a fair few of them about.
Excellent, this is one of the best layouts for a 48 foot boat I've ever seen, some one will snap this very soon.
What a stunner and great use of space for a 48’. Same as mine and it’s given me loads of ideas!!! 👍
Very nice boat. So glad you pronounced Nene the same way as I do 👍🏼😂🦆💕
Looks to have been very well looked after. Thank you.
That really packs a lot in for a smallish boat.
Very nice...well cared for and you can see it....often the boats are dirty with lack of maintenance. I would take this any day of the week.
That reminds me of the old Club 18-30 holidays advert about "Waking up at the crack of Dawn" 😂

Yep I noticed that 👁
Brilliant!
For her age she,s in immaculate condition!
New engine but didn't treat all the rust in the engine bay or paint it unbelievable
You forgot to mention the helm seats that go under the taft rails with covers no less!....quick remove too...
This is the first I've heard of a v-shape hull on a narrowboat. Advantages? Disadvantages?
