Stage 3 rectal cancer discovered during a colonoscopy for my husband. These screenings save LIVES and not enough people go for them. I personally think the age needs to be lowered for screening because our diets/lifestyle in this country is directly related to all the CRC cancers
"Should a 50 year old get a colonoscopy w/ Z dogg"? I didn't know Z dogg did colonoscopies. 😁 False positives are not uncommon with Cologuard- 13%- and increase with age. Tremendous sums go into researching these issues. Only a small fraction provides high quality actionable evidence.

I might have a drink with ZDogg, but I don't know about getting a colonoscopy with him.
I like to do mine separately
haven´t seen a doctor in two decades... never felt better, meanwhile others of my age arround me have all sorts of "conditions" and have to take pills with names i couldn´t even pronounce.
but then... i recall that i was an "oddball" all of my life, maybe i am just insane and i only think that i feel good
🤣
Colonoscopy is conclusive . Stool test is not .
You need to spend a lot more time with the research.
Go litely was named by the creators of clockwork orange
Stage 3 rectal cancer discovered during a colonoscopy for my husband. These screenings save LIVES and not enough people go for them. I personally think the age needs to be lowered for screening because our diets/lifestyle in this country is directly related to all the CRC cancers
Thank god you’re not in charge of anything.
Colonoscopy is not a breeze, if you are not sedated 😂.
Definitely NOT! I've done it 3 times un-sedated. It was horrible!
We all just white knuckled it 😎
watch Suneel Dhand's take on routine colonoscopy. He's not for it either.
"Should a 50 year old get a colonoscopy w/ Z dogg"? I didn't know Z dogg did colonoscopies. 😁
False positives are not uncommon with Cologuard- 13%- and increase with age.
After 1 normal colonoscopy, your lifetime risk for colon cancer is reduced (not zero), so repeats every 10 years offer less benefit than the initial exam.
Tremendous sums go into researching these issues. Only a small fraction provides high quality actionable evidence.
Can we request and receive a flex instead of colonoscopy?
Sedation is not mandatory during colonoscopy. It may hurt sometimes a lot, but the pain will stop.
Exactly! I had one without general and it was not comfy but I was fine. Sure beats losing the brain cells that die every time one goes under general anesthesia and avoiding the other risks that come with undergoing general.
@@kbc1883I’m getting one without anesthesia. Is the pain that bad and how long does it take?
@@David_10157 It was quite intense... more extreme pressure rather than sharp pain. I have high pain tolerance (e.g.- I got wisdom teeth pulled with only local anesthesia), so it was bearable. I don't recall how long it took. Maybe 6 or 7 mins of them in there looking around. Best of luck to you!
You're asking if a 50 year old should get a colonoscopy with Z Dogg in the room? Yikes.
NO MORE Zdog! Please!
Why..?
@@atort whoah! Didn't know that
He was a huge a hole about the vax, called us terrible names. Good thing it’s in the digital database forever.
And was he ever even accountable or apologetic for how desperately wrong he was for months?
A doc who doesn’t know the difference between FIT and Cologuard should give up his license.
Flex sig sucks, you only see less than half of the colon. I just had one and they got my 1 polop they would have missed with a sig only. Bad advice from this quack internet doctor.
nope... not getting one of these, that´s for sure,i´ll die some day,i know that to its fullest and i am not afraid
Have you ever had a flex sig VP? Not fun and if it’s positive a colonoscopy anyway , think about it
colonoscopy is easy pickens, $175/mo for Medicare for the colonoscopy!
This one is awkwardly edited
Z dogg is on the wrong side of history.
LOL! Surprise!!! The thumbnail says it all.
Not going here
Matt Stewart, on air reporter at WDAF-TV in Kansas City, caught stage 1 colon cancer by getting a colonoscopy at 45. He's be dead if he listened to this video.
Outlier
I wish Viany was my doctor. I can't stand the doctors around here in my area.
Never will.
I 💩 my pants 👖. 😳
Who gives a “crap”
Came here just to comment. These two have no historical track record and have not appologized.
I like how everyone glossed over fentanyl like it’s nothing
Mafia medical
makes the bloods and crips look like choir boys
You are funny 😂
Colonoscopy.....try having a defecography!
Such terrible and dangerous information……….
Nice to see ZDogg again.
Ugh! Not so much. Wish Vinay would distance himself from that clown.
@@sassysandie2865he's good for a laugh. How can that be bad?!
Kaiser does a poop test to check for blood. Is that good enough?
