Everybody is here because it’s the Young Sheldon theme song. I’m here because it’s sung by Steve from Blue’s Clues, and he just came back into our lives to let us know he never forgot us.
This was my 19 year old cat's song. He went through so much and we called him our Mighty Little Man. When it was time to let him go, we played this as he passed at the vet. He would have been 20 today.
All these years later, I'm still out here doing the absolute best I can. Thanks for believing in me, Steve. I'll never forget you. You helped make me the mighty little man I am. I hope you get back from college soon. We'll grab a beer when you do and I'll tell you about everything I've done since you left.
I've been binge watching Young Sheldon for about a week now. I'm on Season 2, Ep 8. This is the first time I've heard this song in its entirety. I am very happy for a few reasons. 1) This is a DAMN good song 2) My kids loved Steve from Blues Clues. They are 27 and 21 now. He is to them what Mr Rogers, Captain Kangaroo and Cookie Monster are to me.
Everyone over here commenting young sheldon and shit, but I will always consider him the guy who made my childhood awesome in blues clues. Although he is not that person anymore I am glad he is the person and wants to be and I support, and I hope we don't forget the person who he once and maybe always will be.

I don’t know if it’s the comments remembering long lost pets, the fact that one of our many childhood friends is singing this, the music is this powerful, or a combination of the three- I’m getting misty-eyed listening to this.
My husband and I called our 18 year old cat our Mighty Little Man. He had been through so much and made it to 18. When we had to put him to sleep, we played this song in the exam room just before he passed. This song will always remind me of our baby boy. ♥️

I really wish that I knew about Steve being in a band earlier. He’s been in lots of interesting things that aren’t Blue’s Clues. I have lots of nostalgia with that show. I’m glad that Steve is happier and that he’s in the Blue’s Clues reboot.
