The 0.5 second shot of Worf satisfactorily firing the torpedoes is so perfect, you know he was extremely happy to finally use some weapons on something

The funny thing is that the ship wasn't the booby trap,so blowing up the ship did very little at all.
You take the cheese out of a mouse trap and you won't catch many mice.
@@TheZigzagman True,but the original ship got stuck there for some reason without any cheese. Also it is worth pointing out that you can always use one of those sexy girl robotic exploding mice. They were probably about the closest Tom ever got to defeating Jerry :P

This just made me realise that there are so few animated RLM videos out there. They've put out so much content over the years, it's a potential gold mine for animators.

Really enjoyes this! When Mike says "FIRE A NUCLEAR MISSILE!" The animation kind of reminds me of Ren and stimpy.
Damn Rich is right about how abrupt some of these endings are. Sometimes there's like two minutes left and no hint of plot resolution, but sure enough they wrap it up.

Appreciate the attention to detail. Picard's heart is property of Starfleet with a serial number simply because after getting stabbed he needed a replacement heart.

I kinda forgot that Picard was an amateur archaeologist and used logic instead of his feelings to deal with problems.

What's funny is that it was actually totally in character for Picard to do that. If you rewatch the episode, Picard's sentimentality towards the ship is what gets them all in danger. The true reason he destroys it is that he's severing that part of himself, to prevent anyone else from being in danger.
The trap doesn't spring until you're in it. Someone else could have come along and nothing appeared on sensors. They'd get too close and be destroyed. The Federation would obey warning buoys but the Ferengi certainly wouldn't. Klingons wouldn't.

You’ve done great work. Great great great on so many levels. If only this wasn’t only understandable for a niche group of nerds. Otherwise this would go viral considering how great it befits the RLM world. This animation adds something to the audio, something hilarious and tragic and imaginative, while it still really emphasizes the original quality of the chemistry between Mike and Rich and their perceptions.
