Hi! I was just wondering if this is still the most up-to-date method of modding an Xbox 360 (Jasper). I flashed my console's DVD drive a bout 5 years ago but the drive is dying, so I'd rather just mod it and put all my games on an external drive for convenience. However, getting into the modchip scene this late into the console's lifespan is somewhat overwhelming, considering the variety of mod chips, methods, and tutorials available online (some of which are outdated or have contradicting information). I just want to know which method works best as of now, and what chips I need to buy in order to mod my console.

Wow, just got the chips in today (actual 3 day shipping without my local Post Office screwing up!). Really excited to try my hand at this! First ever mod-chip installation, here we go! Edit: Unfortunately, I'm SOL. Plugged in my console before taking it apart just to check the dash version and the bloody thing has the RROD. I want to strangle the frigging thing but its dead already so its no use.
The problem is this: I installed new NAND memory. Now it's empty. I don't have original native dumps. There are no keys either. What falcon files need to be written to memory for XELL to work? How to collect XELLL if there is no retail dump?😟

Hello friend, I'm your fan, I wanted help with a problem because I tried to do an RGH on the xbox 360 fat, I extracted the Nand, I recorded the ECC, but the xell did not go up, so I took the Nand that I extracted and recorded it without CPUKey and etc., it turns on normally, but if you put the drive it just blinks and the same thing for the HD so I wanted to know if there is a way to reverse this process? Note this procedure was done on J-Runner + CoolRunner.
i have a zephyr motherboard, all is installed. but doesn't boot. the v1 is programmed with the stock rgh12_21.xsvf that comes with the nandX files downloaded from your store site. the glitch cheap just keeps on blinking blue. ive already write the ecc and write it. do i need to bridge the points for phats underneath on what shows on this video? or just the one above?
Zephyrs are just difficult to glitch - I'd bet it is not even an issue with your install. My advice: revert the zephyr to retail, sell it, then get another console to RGH.

Looking to do a corona 4gb manufactured 11/11 gonna order my ace v3 from u and the USB chip was wondering if u think I would need a post fix since the console is manufactured in 2011 and what is your average ship time to South Carolina thanks in advanced for reading my comment and taking time to reply and any other tips u could give on cheap solder and flux u would recommend kinda doing this on a budget thanks again

No way - never ever ever use a profile that you care about on a RGH console. Even just using the profile on the RGH while offline carries some risk - never ever use a profile you care about online on an RGH it will absolutely get banned.
yeah ok, that's what i assumed, but i just want to make super sure because i am kind of new to all this, so don't want to do something stupid on accident. so the safe way is to co-host my self, with my main profile on a separate xbox, since people do that all the time without getting banned, correct?
I'm not the expert on this - I'm really just a hardware guy. Though I've RGH'd and made over 1000 RGH consoles, I've only taken them online TWICE in the whole 7+ years I've been doing this. That said - it's my personal advice that you shouldn't even co-host on a profile you actually care about. If you have a "retail" normal profile especially one that you have digital games bought from the marketplace it's just not worth the risk.
ok. i see people selling co-host services all the time, and once upon a time when me and my buddy used to play BO2, he would give me co-host, and i never got banned, which is why i was wondering. i just want to REALLY make sure i don't spend the money on an RGH, get banned, and regret my life choices lol.
Yup, take a look at the matrix and coolrunner products on my website I've got a full breakdown of the point translations. You can do this exact mod with a CR Rev C, or the Matrix and it works out the same.
TheWeekendModder I actually followed this video and just used a cool runner instead. The only confusing part was the letters on the matrix board correspond to different points on the cool runner. Thanks
If you ever planned to remove the RGH then you'd want to be very careful with your consoles original KV. Once that KV is banned if you reverted to retail you'd have a banned retail console.

I am tying to rgh2 a trinity board. When I go to click the ? I get an error. Flash config: 0x000000000. Cannot continue. I have tried a Jr Programmer v2 and a nand-x with no luck. I have tried on 2 different consoles and 2 different pcs. Can anyone please help. Soldering looks fine.

No - you would need to make small changes from RGH2 wiring to convert to RGH 1.2

The only way to be really sure would be to never put your retail profile at risk - which is my standing advice.

Yes - unbanning the console with a new KV would be possible after RGHing it.
