Yah I won't mod a slim for rgh3 cause of that point. The phat consoles are easier for rgh3 but they are unstable still in beta. I did install on jasper it works great boots are fast. But ring of light is sometimes buggy

Thank you... booted Xell first try! Two weeks ago I spent at least 8 hours trying to RGH1.2 this same Falcon with no luck at all. I didn't think this was going to work because the original firmware RROD'd with the wiring installed, before I flashed the glitch 3 ECC... Wow, this is great. 20 minutes and success vs 8 hours and failing miserably! Oh, also I used 33K ohm resistor because I didn't have 22K.
I have done multiple rgh installs with no issues but one I installed recently the coolrunner chip was bad it RROD on both consoles and one won't turn on properly anymore get 0022 which is smc. I think chip had short in it which took out southbridge

And for removing all those screws I bought a little cheap $30 electric cordless drill more or less but it's tiny it weighs like 1 lb. Save so much time on the hundreds of councils I had to open and close. Back when you can make money and actually repairing these and reselling them. Did it out of my home during the recession and I was kind of fortunate that during the recession this kind of service was needed cuz I could make way more money than at any job available at the time even with a two year computer networking degree.

I am so lucky to have come across a xenon on blades dash, I did an JTAG using 3 wires, upgraded the heatsink and now the GPU rans cooler than the CPU, 55°C and 65°C respectively. I am still using 480p AV cable, i think thermals will go up when I upgrade to 1080i component AV. Thanks so much to weekend modder here.
Suggestion: love your videos. Can you do a tutorial on using the ext_clk method on a Xenon Xbox? Seems like most people these days have updated their dashboards and can’t use JTAG anymore… It’d be awesome as this is newer and apparently stable. And there is not that much info out there.

Yeah it's called the Xbox removal tool how come you don't have one. I've had two for over 10 years and they work great. They're a bit flimsy they should be made out of stiffer steel because they've been pretty easily but you can pop all five of those and one shot
Any advice on getting better boot times on BB jaspers. Seems even with a clean install they just aren't as reliable. May just stick to using matrix and coolrunner chios in all BB Japsers. More reliable.
Great video.. here how to know if you got a good swicthing diode or a fake one test take one end to AAA positive side diode on the bottom of the AAA battery ohm reader ground ohm reader on the other side positive if your reading 0.201 or higher there will be some leakage current if so it's a good one.. if you are not then it's a fake online diode might matter on glitch boot ups worked on a Jasper BB
Forgot what the reason was for these being ~favored for modding and that was a handful of years ago.... Do those reason(s)/features still stand or have they possibly been muted or appended to with mod-developments among other versions of the 360s?
Custom dashboards, emulators, and mod menus in games are still fun to play with. Big driver recently is a game known as "college football revamped" which I think is a mod/update to a 2014 football game that a bunch of people are way into.

If I understand you correctly what I did was plugged the hdd internally Then formatted it through xbox system then it started working I’ve heard that people have gotten 2tb working
I’m trying to use this method to rgh3 my 360, after I soldered everything and tried to read nand it only fills in half the boxes in nand info. I managed to write ECC and boot into xell reloaded and get my cpu key but when trying to create XeBuild image lots of warnings pop up and jrunner crashes. I checked my soldering continuity and everything looks fine. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? Thanks

These eyes of mine are starting to strain nowadays.... Anyone recommend a magnifying video screen for my workbench? A TOMLOV with a pair of articulating lights and a remote came up in my results and looks decent except for it not having enough platform/stage depth for consoles; but, I know nothing.
A lot of those helping hands things he had also come with a magnifying glass, I'm farsighted so my glasses make it tough to see up close but the magnifying glass makes it easy if you're looking for a cheap option.

@@That_Handle as far as I know, 2tb. Because you need to use FAT32 MBR formatting. You might be able to setup 2 partitions, but hadn’t tried that. I have tried 2 drives at once without a problem while in the Aurora custom dash.

What it comes down to is that I want to get my _entire_ library of discs onto mass storage as well as create multiple units for a LAN+online setup at home here.

Hey, I just got done modding a jasper BB 512mb and everything works well except when I go into storage devices I do not see my internal memory anymore. It just shows the loading circle.(I've waited for awhile for it to show up) It never comes up. However when I put a HD or USB HD it will show up just fine (Will show the HD/USB HD and internal memory) Do you have any idea how to fix this? or has this ever happened to you? I just did 2 Jasper BB 512mb and they both have the same problem

It's a protection to current backflow, you run risk of damaging your console without it. Rgh3 hasnt been around long enough to really know what the long term likely good of that damage is without it. But the diode is like a 5 cent part. Worth it to me...

Hi can you use the raspberry pico to flash nand of Corona 16mb no need for post fix adapter. I've seen another video where you rgh V3.0 without the need of a glitch chip. Could I do this using the raspberry pico, for this installation. Regards Andy

Just tried this on a BB jasper. Would not boot to xell. Checked soldering and stuff multiple times but no go. Windows 10 a problem? I read nand twice no problem and wrote ECC.

I have a RGH 360 that has stopped glitching. Is there a market to sell these? Like would anyone have any interest in buying it? I have no use for it anymore. I only used it to download games to try before I bought them. I have since owned a One S, One X, and now a Series X. I’m well past the 360s lifespan so I literally have no use for it.

Weekend modder, I did this same exact install on two big block Jasper Kronos, one works and glitches great but the other straight up turns off after 2 seconds! I re wrote the nand, checked the wiring and even re-did it but it keeps doing the same, at one point it booted normally for a couple of days but then went back to it. Can't find any solution! Any ideas? I can't get my hands on a jprogrammer or nandx so I'm just hoping eventually some pico support for writing chips is available as it seems my only option is to do a 1.2 install :(

Once you add solder to any stranded wire regardless where it is at it will become a lot stiffer at it's connection point!

There is no Jr programmer case, in this video I use a Nandx
for pin 5 why use the header, just solder the jrunner to any ground casing

I followed your tutorial, but after writting the ECC file my Xbox just stays with a blinking green light in the middle and never boots into Xell.

Flashed xell to two 360s now , all following your video step for step , none of them boot to xell after flashing it across , any idea what to do other than throw them in the bin was done with pico flasher and your jrunner and extras
Hello weekend modder I did a Jasper RGH 3.0 few months ago but I only used a 22k resistor. I noticed you used a diode also is it really important to use one?
It's a protection to current backflow, you run risk of damaging your console without it. Rgh3 hasnt been around long enough to really know what the long term likely good of that damage is without it. But the diode is like a 5 cent part. Worth it to me...

Booting the dash glitches instantly also but also hangs at the end of the xbox logo animation, just after it signed into the profile I created to test the console. No hdd fitted

Hi can you use the raspberry pico to flash nand of Corona 16mb no need for post fix adapter. I've seen another video where you rgh V3.0 without the need of a glitch chip. Could I do this using the raspberry pico, for this installation. Regards Andy

Good day Mr weekend modder I have a trinity slim my dashboard is 17511 I did the rgh 3 mod on my console it boots xell very fast but it's not booting dash board for nothing I tried many stuff I even downloaded your j runner with the 17511 kernel version but tha does not have the rgh3 function I paste the 17511 into the jrunner with extras tried it git the kernel to show up did the rgh3 on the xbox360 only booting xell not dashboard really need your help please
So no more glitch chip required? Is there any advantage to previous RGH methods, and should we upgrade to RGH 3 (remove glitch chip & reflash)?
No advantage - if your current RGH boots well then no need to change it.

Did exactly the same procedure, but when I turn it on power button, the xbox 360 automatically turns off after 10 seconds. Do you have any ideas what it could be ???
Found the problem. It was the resistor. Just solded the wire directed to the 2 points (without the resistor) and the vg went back to normal. 👍👍

Ese debe ser un problema de la consola en sí ya que si no glitcheara correctamente el rgh la consola directamente no bootearia

it’s the soldering, I had this exact problem as well which disappeared when I resoldered everything
Just tried this on a BB jasper. Would not boot to xell. Checked soldering and stuff multiple times but no go. Windows 10 a problem? I read nand twice no problem and wrote ECC.
UPDATE: So i used just wire, top point PLL, 10 MHZ setting in JRunner. Xell loaded instantly
Mine turns on shuts instantly off as soon as remove wires resistor's diode and flash stock back it boots instant but never xell

You've gotta have a bad solder point. Or try the bottom PLL point
@@FreshLabs401 I'm using bottom point I finally got it to turn on but no xell do I need to reflash? It sounds like it quietly cycling fan motors but nothing happens black screen. I used a 10k as 22k wasn't working doing same thing after resolder points no longer shuts off instantly
I have a RGH 360 that has stopped glitching. Is there a market to sell these? Like would anyone have any interest in buying it? I have no use for it anymore. I only used it to download games to try before I bought them. I have since owned a One S, One X, and now a Series X.
I’m well past the 360s lifespan so I literally have no use for it.

Shouldn't matter. Just try to get thin and rosin core for electrical and itll work.
Can you do a tutorial on a existing falcon or jasper console has already a rgh2 and convert it into rgh3, for those who has no copy of the original nand backup copy

Weekend modder, I did this same exact install on two big block Jasper Kronos, one works and glitches great but the other straight up turns off after 2 seconds! I re wrote the nand, checked the wiring and even re-did it but it keeps doing the same, at one point it booted normally for a couple of days but then went back to it. Can't find any solution! Any ideas? I can't get my hands on a jprogrammer or nandx so I'm just hoping eventually some pico support for writing chips is available as it seems my only option is to do a 1.2 install :(

Weekend modder doesn't support it so you'll have to go on your own, but I doubt it, xenons are a headache for rgh

Yes, you can mod online using a stealth service. Yes, you can unlock achievements. Yes, you run the risk of being banned (both account and console)

@@steezykane4738 the chance is a variable based on what you do. Personally the risk is high enough I would never use an account I cared about for modding.
