    Hi, man! Nice and well explained video, as always! Can I just give you a couple of tips?
    1. Easiest way to tell a Trinity from the rest is the fact that it has a HANA chip, no need to look at the rest of the stuff.
    2. After writing the ECC you can desolder the nand wires and instead, put rawflash v4 on a USB flash drive and use that to flash the nand via xell.
    Cheers! ;)

    • @TheWeekendModder
      @TheWeekendModder  7 лет назад +1

      Thanks! I prefer writing back my updflash.bin via hardware as I have encountered some issues with Xell/Rawflash not handing bad block remapping in the same way that Jrunner does and I prefer the way that Jrunner handles it and remaps them before writing back via hardware.

    • @reaperreaper9593
      @reaperreaper9593 7 лет назад +1

      That's interesting. I often use rawflash and I've never had an issue with bad blocks. I even did a jasper rgh1.2 last week, that had 2 bad blocks and rawflash v4 handled them nicely.
      Not saying you're wrong, though. Every console is different. Plus, you have the nand-x, that thing is fast! Might even pick one up myself.

      Success! Although boot times can take upwards of a minute to glitch, typically under 30 seconds. Should I expect faster boot times? I'd like to try and tweak it. If I've read correctly, the wire length on the bottom of the mobo can be changed to help. My console/kit were identical to what was used in this video.

  • @shadowmodding3606
    @shadowmodding3606 8 лет назад

    Those of you that are getting the ace v3 chip the point headers are pretty useless and its just a pain finding the right connectors. What I did was soldered wires on the pins on the back of the Jr Programmer to the ace v3. What I didn't know is that you can have the program points soldered to the programmer while testing timing files. Just make sure you unplug the Jr Programmer from the pc

    • @TheWeekendModder

    Can someone please help me out!?
    I'm a first time programmer & have almost no experience with anything in this video other than disassembling my Xbox for maintenance & a little bit of soldering, so I was confused to see that my motherboard was slightly but still noticeably different to his despite both of ours being trinity boards. For example, the speaker that makes the "ding" startup sound that he mentioned isn't located on the frame of the Xbox & connected to the motherboard with a wire like his, instead, it is completely replaced by a black cylinder (which i assume is just an improved version of the same speaker) connected directly to the motherboard. Small differences like that may or may not mean that my board actually isn't a trinity, or more likely, in my opinion, that my Xbox is a later model of some sort, although still a 360 Slim, it may have been slightly modified to keep people from RGH-ing their consoles? If anyone can help me specifically identify my console, tell me if it would effect the process of RGH-ing it in any way, & if so, what I would need to do in order to RGH my console, without breaking it, it would help me so much. & if you need more info on the motherboard, just reply & I'll answer any questions as best as I can. Thanks.

      Yes, though you'll have to play with the wire length to get good boot times.

      Awesome thanks! One more question, can i change the timing files on a CR or Ace chip after i write the nand? Or can i only change the timing files before i create xebuild?

    Is there a easy way to mod a console? Phat or slim? Are there any perks to RGH over a jtagg? And if I use your jasper RGH tutorial it will work fine with any jasper console correct? What if it's not a jasper?

    • @kingnoah3035
      @kingnoah3035 9 лет назад

      +Zachary Bienstock you as ka lot of questions lol but i can answer them for you

    • @kingnoah3035
      @kingnoah3035 9 лет назад

      +Zachary Bienstock most ways are the same,some take less time but arent as good as the longer time ones,i would say slim is easier to mod over phat because the motherboard is not as complex and as difficult as a phat. On the RGH there is no re-boot neccasary to run unasigned code. RGH can be done to any console on any dashboard,however jtag is only on 7371 dashboard which is a lot more rare to be found now that xbox patched it i believe,if you use the tutorial it should work no promises but you must be very careful on this one,if its not a jasper then it will change probaly unless the motherboards are the same type probaly not but yeah. So there you go,anyone feel free to correct me or add anything else

    I screwed up the C post point on the trinity motherboard, is there any alternative point to soder it too?

    • @TheWeekendModder
      @TheWeekendModder  7 лет назад

      First, ensure the console still boots retail.
      There are topside via's that carry the post signal, but if you damaged the normal point I'd avoid using that alternate point as it's much more fragile than the normal point.

    • @Samcharleston24

      Thanks! It did. I ended up just buying a Corona post fix adapter for the trinity since its compatible and it glitched instantly. Thanks for the help!

    Hi there, i've been following your tutorial step by step, thing is that at the end, console switch on, front led blinks green, on the ACE the red light is on, the gran blinks but it won't start, any suggestion? I've tried your suggested timing on this video and the one on the other video where the full pack of file is. thanks

    • @TheWeekendModder
      @TheWeekendModder  6 лет назад

      Where did you get your Ace chip? There was a bad batch circulating around that when reprogrammed for Trinities didn't work correctly.

    • @antonio76m
      @antonio76m 6 лет назад

      Thanks for the reply, I bought it from an Italian reseller, just back home I was wondering if it could be caused by a bad soldering, I just disconnect the D pad to test and it does the same thing, so what do you think, could be the D o C pad?
      update: as a test one by one I disconnected the pads, no 5v and end ok the ACE doesn't light up, when I disconnect the C pad, the green light is on but no blinking, removing any of the other it does blink but no boot.
      update2: Mr TheWeekwndModder you'r first thought was the correct one!!! :) after all these testing, and since I have another X360ace v3 I gave it a try, since the programming I saw something different, in fact with this new one, while programming, the green led was low, when finished it was quite bright, while the first chip , after programming, no green led was visible, anyhow, did set this new one in the console and id did glitch and boot, now writing NAND, hope all goes fine lol
      thanks
