Requiem sounds good. But the problem is I have no idea how much it modifies like it's a very big overhaul and I'm not sure how it will work in my 900+ modded load order haha. I would need to read the notes of all the changes before installing..
Are you using Nemesis? And tk dodge RE and cgo dodge remove mod is a good combo. And for textures I would use amid for armors and Skyland for most others. They have done almost the whole game.

Is there any combat mods that enhance first person combat that you'd recommend? A lot of the combat mods I've seen seem to not work well with first person and I much prefer first person to third.
Uhhh, I’ve been using storms of steel, wildcat, smilidon, dynamic camera, Fort/dungeon spawn increase (makes tackling a fort more strategic, at early levels it’s absolutely necessary to have to bow the enemies on the walls down to stand a chance before charging in etc etc). There’s another mod that makes combat more similar to sekiro (dodging and parrying are more useful). If you need any more suggestions lmk.
I also forgot about animation mods, if your on Xbox like I they’re kind of limited, but on pc you can find mods that completely replace first person weapon animations with dark souls weapon animations. There is also animation mods for sword enchantments that make the colors and glow more aesthetic
I tried skyland AIO but idk, noble skyrim has a more classy look to things and very well detailed. After years of modding Noble skyrim is still my go-to big retexture pack.

Thank you!!! Not that I have noticed, nope! Requiem changes a lot of numbers, but not a lot functionally about combat. TK Dodge and CGO probably don't work well together without a patch, that would be my guess since they both add dodging.
I can't stand most ENBs. Visceral and Vividian are good though. Right now, for whatever reason, I just can't get ENB to work with my LE installation. Crashes every time I load an exterior cell. On the other hand, forcing AO and better AA through my driver doesn't seem to impact performance at all and the concern about LE reaching its 3.1GB memory limit has been totally unfounded for me. IMHO if you're hitting that limit, you're doing something wrong with LE.
I'm on xbox and my skyrim special edition rarely registers commands, and when it does, it lags, like if I keep pressing down at the main menu, every 10 seconds or so it will go down the options just once, it's definitely unplayable.
I'd say my favorite mods are physics mods. Once your character has hair and armor and capes and earrings (yes, earrings) that move with your movement, you just can't go back.
As a Canadian that doesn’t identify as a furry I can say it’s a problem getting on a train only to look out the window and seeing my fellow humans, snapping their neck off the side of a train after yelling “I’m a bull moose” and charging it.
My crucial must have mod mutes Heimskr forever. Hearing the same sermon for the thousandth time is a bit much, and he manages that in one or two playthru....

I Uninstalled skyrim because I don't have enough ram, only 8gb makes it hard to play. Since I can't afford I won't be playing skyrim for awhile :/
I play 8g ram and 145 mods installed. pretty much stable at 4.2-5.2 ram used. Game is at 1.5 used. Check out the "steam lite" config. that is probably where all your ram is tied up.

Its not a matter of ENB being massive it also does very subtle things that not there cause vanilla to look like garbage.

Requiem is for Skyrim (not Special Edition version). An equivalent for Requiem on Special Edition is YASH (Yet Another Skyrim Hardcore mod).
Requiem is now available for the SE as well - it came out late last year and is on Nexus Mods.
