The way Patty and Gal talk about this movie not only gives me hope, it warms my soul. Wonder Woman invokes so much hope, love, and power and they seem to be going for just that. I honestly wouldn't care if there were a weak villain in this movie, it's not about that. It's about Wonder Woman and the inspiration and hope she's going to bring to all of us.
I agree with you. I watched the whole Comin Con panel about WW this year and I loved the part when Patty said, " why only white men get to be universal?" That question still rings in my head.
She feels so protective, caring and approachable. Like Captain America, but even more so. She'd make people feel safe around her, not scared or intimidated. She feels like a true, classic hero. Which means they really understand and respect her character, which before those trailers, I wasn't expecting at all after seeing what they did to the character of Superman in that universe lol. I'm so happy and relieved (I know it's just trailers but it can't be THAT misleading).

I want to imagine a scene where it's that very night, Diana (being in her profession) bumps into the Wayne's, exchange small talk and declines an offer to walk with them because she has something else to do then rides off in a cab. Fast forward a odd number of years and we find her in a little diner in a small town having coffee, looking out the window and seeing a tornado forming thinking "well, that looks dangerous".....
Seriously, someone could parody the hell out of Diana's timeline.

I've watched girls/women react to these WW trailers and seeing them break out in tears to see a woman in such a powerful position....kicking patriarchy's ass.....and it touched me to see them like that....bringing me to tears. Everything about it is awesome.
Honestly in my opinion. Your fans including me come to your channel because of the passion you 3 have for heros/comic books and pop culture for movies. Reactions are still never the less but your knowledge of Comics and movies and the passion you guys give us day in day out Is what brings me back to your channel. You guys are awesome. Good vid guys, you guys rock.. But i have to tell you something funny and great.. I work at a childcare center and several little girls were wonder woman at halloween, and it was so great.. and a few boys while in some imaginative boy play, were arguing about which of the 3 "BOYS" would be wonder woman, and they all end up being her lol... mostly due to the sword and shield..
Bruce Wayne got her the photo after all. You can see the Wayne Enterprises logo in the beginning. This is definitely the most hopeful DCEU trailer but I still think the BvS comic con trailer is the best trailer I've ever seen but it's also almost 4 mins or something so it has an unfair advantage.

I was being grumpy that I didn't get a SuperheroNews reaction video right away, then Hector starts with thanking the fans for being patient and understanding and I immediately felt like a spoiled butt.... But then totally grateful because you guys insight of the trailer is exactly what I came for and it was worth the wait^^
Mos and BvS for me are so inspiring,for many reasons,but people hate what they don't understand.
It's alla baout stories and narrative arc,evolution.
Batman has to be dark ,Flash has to be frash,Aquaman epic and badass and so on....it's alla about contextualization.
I know the powers aren't what matter, but I really, really hope that Diana can fly in this. That lost shot of the trailer sort of convinced me.
The reason I'm saying about this is because we still haven't seen Superman use freeze breath in the DCEU. I know that freeeze breath is a very cheesy power, but I'd love to see it.

I think she could but it was never shown on screen. I don't think she could have made it to the fight with Doomsday without being able to fly there & when she came down out of the sky to save Batman from Doomsday's heat beam attack, the way she landed makes me think she had been airborne. Plus the way she dashes at Doomsday after she had been thrown into concrete makes me think she flew at him.
How do we now she can't? She was in BvS for 5 minutes and it was clear she was out of the game for a while. Maybe she can fly. I fucking hope so

I haven't seen any articles about Wonder Woman being confirmed not having the ability to fly. I don't understand why they would take it away. The reason of trying to distance her from Superman in powers isn't a good enough reason to do so, since Wonder Woman has had the ability to fly since Crisis on Infinite Earths, possibly before, and has always had that ability.
My fav part was the amazon swinging and shooting the arrow. also when she blocks the bullets. i really like the coloring of this movie and how it changes between scenes for ex its very colorful in calm scenes and like darkish in fight scnenes. im hoping for this movie to both blow up the box office and to give the audience an unforgetable moment.

Chris Black honestly it should be for all the TOP 3 characters. Wonder Woman, superman and batman. They should all three have different tones, values and should be a social commentary for the time period. And after that for each of the other justice league members they can bring different themes as well. Sadly warner Bros have so far missed the mark on their superman movie. I hope they nail this one though so that upcoming movies can incorporate these important elements into them. I mean this is the reason people even like DC characters. I hope they (Warner Bros) and Zack Snyder sees that.

The first time Wonder Woman saw a bullet She was like "what is this, and it looks dangerous" then when she stepped in the battlefield she was like "oh, these things again." And was not fazed about it
It was awesome. As a fan, this trailer was like a dream come true. I have hope for it and there's no doubt it'll make a lot of money. However, the DCEU, I think, hasn't earned our trust. Do you guys remember the BvS comic con 2015 trailer?
That trailer made me cry. It's still one of the best trailers I've ever seen. But then the movie came out and it was disappointing. Suicide Squad had awesome trailers too and that movie was even more disappointing. I'm optimistic, but still a little worried. Hoping for the best tho!
bvs was in a difficult place to begin with. you have ppl who don't like man of steel, you had ppl who didn't like the violence in man of steel, ppl who don't like snyder and the giant expectation of how the movie should be
But if you look closely, the trailers for both of those movies were all about looks and dramatic visuals and one liners! None of them gave any sense of story, where the plot was going, especially SS. I remember always thinking after every trailer "ok this looks really cool but what the hell is it about??? where is this story going?". That's not the case with these WW trailers, they are much more narrative based, which is exactly why it's getting me so excited and hopeful. You really get the sense that there is an actual story behind what is being presented. If that one turns out to be bad, THEN I'll feel cheated haha.

I am a huge BVS ultimate edition supporter but after watching the wonder woman trailer and listening to your discussion I now understand what you guys mean't by being hopeful when you did the BVS review. I think BVS to me was a hopeful movie but what I think is that some of the scenes in the movie could have simply been shot in a different way with some different dialogue and it would have been hopeful. 4 examples instantly come to mind. This trailer got me feeling more goosebumps and having a bigger smile than any of the other movie trailers and I'm not even a wonder woman fan. If this movie delivers then I want patty Jenkins to direct more movies in the DCEU (Shazam with sups having a huge role would be awesome, imagine that, that could be such an inspiring movie).

I have never commented on a RUclips video, but this video was AMAZING. I'm a 22-year old young woman and went to see wonder woman because I'd heard such good things about. I literally have never been so excited after a movie and I'm completely obsessed. The reason I loved it so much (apart the storytelling) was that after it I felt I could do anything in this world and fight anyone, which I have never felt before! Your commentary was very mature and very intelligent, you are the kind of men this world needs ♥️
I totally agree about what you guys said about this trailer feeling hopeful. While watching it I didn't feel like their was an impending doom that a hero has to attempt to stop. I felt like she could and will stop it. And I like how instead of suspense and intensity we as an audience will be given comfort and inspiration.

As a Wonder Woman fan, and someone who has imagined a WW movie for a long time (albeit based around the Greek Mythos), this trailer had me jumping up and down in my seat. Especially when she deflected that bullet in no man's land.
Think what you want, to me Gal Gadot gonna be (probably already is) Wonder Woman, just like Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man, Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool or Batfleck is Batfleck. Sure there are more examples but these few above appeal to me the most. It's so cool when actors embrace their characters.
I watch almost all the popular reactors. i.e: The Reel Rejects, Tyrone Magnus, Akasan, Flickfreaks, Collider. but you' s guys are the only ones that I watch after and listen to y'alls input and review.. y'all good people

The Angles, Camera movement's and the motion of it all is just different and refreshing.
Also, as the trailer just showed us. It's going to be a simple and clean story line with a good number of action sequence tossed in.
Nothing fancy but just the right amount to start the DC train chugging along in the right direction.

I Agree it's an acquired taste and some might not like but I wouldn't change a thing in the way he shoots his movies (let's have the best of both worlds) his story telling however now that's the thing that he needs to work on the most.
avinash kumar I agree a lot of his visuals are beautiful. I don't mean to bash a man 1000× more talented than myself, it's just not my cup of tea. Although, the opening of his Dawn of the Dead remake is one of my favorite scenes of all time. He's a much better cinematographer than he is a storyteller.

The Comic-Con trailers are so well done that they should stand as first trailers. This is the second trailer in my experience. WOW! My favorite moment is when she's on the ladder and Trevor calls out to her because he doesn't want her to go out there. The emotion wells up because it is thee debut moment of Diana Prince!
People complaining about their free entertainment need to get a grip, imo.
Awesome reaction, guys. My favorite part: Bracelet action in the alley. Made me think of all those panels in comics that show her with like a dozen arms because they're moving so fast.

One thing I like and I am very patriotic Veteran, is they left the stars and blue of the American flag out for one reason Wonder Woman is so iconic that she in a way belong to the world. At first I said oh shit they change the costume but when I researched and look on line boy she is loved all over the world I hope that this movies is the one that will show how woman super heroes are.

That is what I love the most about the trailer, that it captures Wonder Woman as a character really well/perfect. All this stuff is new to her and you can see how she (Gal) is always in the trailer like surprise/amaze like what is this type of face. I love it plus the action is great so that is an extra bonus and the way Themyscira looks is another plus since it looks so great. All in all this is my most anticipated movie next year.
Just want to say that the comments here are so much better than the DC vs Marvel BS on the official trailer.

It is impossible to say anything negative about this trailer...unless you are crazy.
Wonder Woman and Justice League are what will help turn DC Films luck around for Warner Bros, IF they don't fuck them up like they did with Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad. The reason BvS and SS got critical backlash and divisive fan reaction was because WB fucked them up, not because of what Snyder and Ayer did. BvS, because, WB wanted Snyder to force in JL cameos leading to BvS to have the Dawn of Justice subtitle, when Snyder just wanted this to be Batman V Superman, as he and Christopher Nolan planned and announced back at Comic-Con 2013. And, Suicide Squad, because WB forced Ayer to remove his vision for a fun lighter film after the backlash to BvS when they fucked it up. Kind of goes against their motto of DC Films being a "filmmaker-driven" studio, especially with news this week of The Flash losing it's director... AGAIN. So, they'd better show their motto with Wonder Woman and Justice League next year, especially as everything we've heard from those movies look like they're going to be better than what has come and went wrong before.
Also, Diana saving Trevor is reminiscent of 1978 Superman, a film Patty Jenkins said was an influence on the Wonder Woman movie.

Superhero News Notice how in the beginning of the trailer, you see the Wayne Logo on paper so maybe Bruce sent Diana the picture to get her back into the outfit.
Faran yes i think so too. i think somehow bruce got a hold of diana's original photo and they are going to meet at the louvre and as dianas looking at the photo she starts to tell her story to bruce.
I really hope Ares isn't in this.
Or else it'll be like Man of steel.....Great first half which is character driven. Followed by generic cgi superhero second half

The main reason Wonder Woman will be such a good movie, and the first overall successful DC movie, is because when you watch a superhero movie, the sex of the superhero should be irrelavent. Peopple tend to say " Oh, its not gonna be as good because its a girl superhero". Thats totally rediculious. And i tthink this movie will drive that point home. Just by the trailers, and they way its filmed, it already makes me feel and think " This is gonna be an awesome superhero/comicbook movie". I think the fact its based on a woman superhero/lead, will be completely shattered and it will just be a badass mother effing movie PERIOD. Thats my opinion obviously. :D

Absolutely loved this trailer, this is my most anticipated film of 2017 now... I don't know why but I always love the shot of WW walking in her blue dress and we see her sword on her back, just love it!
