- The latest round of the CTCRC Classic Thunder Saloons championship saw us return to Castle Combe - a circuit we've not driven for many years and never raced at, but have a real fondness for after a multitude of track days many moons ago.
With a number of sponsors and supporters in attendance, we were keen to put on a good show and had our eyes firmly on the podium, but a persistent turbo issue looked set to dash our hopes of even qualifying, let alone standing on the steps...

Awesome drive mate. Such a pity that hose had too pop off in the first race. But if it hadn't you wouldn't have got to drive through the pack from the back.

At the boost youre running, its probably a smart idea to be running wigan clamps, silicone is stupid for that amount of power
Great effort in race 2! REAL shame it kept popping the boost hose off in quali and race 1, before Gazzard gave it a nice bead, otherwise it would have easily been your first win!

Just one ask. Is there any way of some rear camera shots because I think some of those overtakes would look good. Maybe ur editing crew would be able to sort it lol
It's only a matter of cameras and mounts, really. Nick's just picked up a new camera, so provided he's got enough batteries with it I'll see what we can do 🙂
Having the time and mental capacity to set it up before the dash to assembly might be the thing which scuppers us 😂

My first trackday was at combe and i popped a boost hose the marshal said it was that loud he thought engine had popped,
I would look at either using murray clamps or maybe time for some vibrant hd clamps ??
