I don't know much about playing the harmonica but apparently Steve Williams is fantastic at it due to his breathing techniques which are very difficult to do and very few a can do them. This song always makes me want to dance and I love John's quasi-yodelling in it.
They have so much fun on stage. The guitar player Jack Jones that he put his arm around was only 19 at the time and John really encouraged him in his career. He was lead singer for a band called Southern Sons and still performs today. Keep on laughing Fellipe - I have a loud laugh too. (Philip in English from Paul the English Teacher). 😂 So much fun. 😂❤ Like me Fellipe I can't play an instrument but I can sure enjoy them. 🎉❤
I was suffering withdrawal symptoms cos I hadn't seen a Farnsey reaction for a while. Now my day is doing a lot better. Deb is doing a great job sending you all these requests. Reaction to the Chain Reaction from the Chain Reaction Tour. That's a lot of reactions.❤❤❤❤
Hi Carolyn! That's odd, I've been posting one a day 🫣 please check if your notifications are on, I made sure to post once a day for the past month 😦 I schedule them every day at 7am (GMT), sorry if I missed any without realising it but I'm glad you got the Farnsey fix 😁
Fillipe. You would be surprised how easy it is to learn to play an instrument. I'm over 60 and I only started to play guitar 18 months ago and now I have a group that I play in. If I can learn you can too 😅😅 And most of it learnt on youtube haha
@@AussieDebb I remember watching that. I’ve saved a few of Johns vids, probably doubled up on a few. Gotta organise then better as they’d run into - over a thousand 😂
Jack Jones (Irwin thomas) the guitar player Sings 1 of john's songs (burn for you) live at the birds basement for John while his having medical problems, should check out both versions it will show how good Jack is when can compare the same song
you liked the harmonica in this one, try "Larry Adler"'s cover of "George Gershwin"'s "Rhapsody in Blue" you wont be disappointed. Gershwin's reaction on hearing it "hell, you'd think i'd written that JUST for him. It was the only music written by a jewish man, played by a jewish man, in the remains of the Berlin symphony hall on the fall of Berlin. Adler's dream was to play rhapsody in the Berlin symphony hall but was never allowed before or during the war, when Berlin fell he just happened to be in thforce that took berlin and his CO gave him permission to go to the hall and play. not a good memory of when but the music SPEAKS for itself.
Great comment! I think you’d love to hear the duet of Larry Adler with Courtney Pine, the UK saxophonist when they played Gershwin’s “Summertime”. It’s only available on audio but it’s wonderful. Courtney plays it alone on a much later video recording. You now know that Steve Williams also plays saxophone and clarinet. His clarinet solo when John Farnham sings “A Touch Of Paradise” is breathtaking… Steve is also a professional music teacher.
@@r.fairlie7186 yes, loved summertime and steve in farnseys "touch of paradise".Being an OLD farnham fan have watched his progress from "sadie" to present.I'm 71 just love watching reactions to great music. So many of which we grew up with.
@@tezza3733 I’m the same age so I know what you mean. I saw John live when he first started but I missed all of his 80s and 90s concerts due to working a lot of night shifts. At least I have two DVDs and lots of RUclips videos to watch. I have a few favourites among the various reactors.

What a party! John's concert's are so much fun.😊
This harmonica solo is insanely good. Play Stevie. You're awesome. Love this song but love absolutely everything John does.❤❤❤❤

You guys are hilarious 😄 Reaction inception. Deb is killing it with all these requests 💛

They are John’s musical family. They get together like siblings having an absolute ball and still play and sing brilliantly together.
😊😂💞
There's footage of them all running backstage playing with water pistols including John. I'll have to find it. 🤩

Steve was a friend of ours way back in the 70's. He was great even then, but super shy.
John's backing group is a mix of The Southern Sons and members of The Little River Band they are worth checking out!

Written by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) . Wasn’t my favourite song, but nothing he does is bad.
