Thank you for the cancer psa Larry, my brother had it when he was young and nearly died. It's a very preventable cancer and the message is important to get out there.
My 38-year-old son is in prison for Meth and gun possession, he got 10 years. As a mother, I feel like outside of serious illness or death of a child this is the worst thing that could happen. I feel like all the joy has been sucked away and replaced with anxiety, guilt, and grief. It just sucks so so bad!
If he was caught up with those things, he could have died. So while I'm sure it's of little comfort, you have to remember that 10 years in prison can just be a chapter in what could be a long and fruitful life. Hopefully he gets through the experience and is able to learn from it. All the best with your situation.
I just discovered your channel 2 days ago and I have been binge watching. I'm amazed at your stories and experiences. I think it is incredible that you have taken such a negative part of your life and are using it for good and to help people. You seem like such a genuine good dude and I am so happy that you learned from your past and straightened your life out. I've heard stories my whole life because my father was unfortunately in prison in the 80s and served 5 years in the old Mansfield Prison. He is a great man, he had got busted for marijuana. I have heard horror stories from him and like you have said in past videos about how you can still hear screams, my dad says the same thing. He has said he can still hear the screams and cries of men getting shanked, raped or beaten. Anyway, I have nothing but love and respect for you Larry for what you're doing on this channel. God bless you Larry, stay safe and healthy. ✌
I will always go through life now thinking about the consequences of my actions thanks to Larry and what I’ve learnt about prison through his videos because it sounds like one of the worst places imaginable. Thanks Larry.
@@rubend9391 Sounds about right. In my country, the previous government was corrupt, so a lot of people in prisons got subjected to literal torture, most notable cases being guards raping young prisoners with broom sticks. That's when I realized I'd rather just stay irrelevant and not go to prison.
Thanks so much Larry for bringing up the testicular cancer. I had on removed, it didn't spread and at 69 still get a decent chubby. Guys listen to Larry regarding this subject. Believe me , a stiff rid is the last thing on your mind when you're told you have cancer. Fantastic job Larry, as always.
Iran has evin prison where they put people in a white room, wearing white clothes, eating white rice, in a white plate. And u don’t see colors for several years and they go insane
Man I remember andrew. Regardless, it's great that you are doing what you are doing. Life after prison can be pretty bad, and i think it's great that you are doing public outreach in a form that can actually get thru to people. It's quite brilliant really and you should feel a lot of pride in what you do. Thank you.
Watching your videos for a few days now, and here's what I learned thus far. 1.) A lot more people get away with things like drugs, beatings, and rapes in prison than I imagined. I always imagined prison as a really controlled environment with less of that going on than it appears does. I mostly thought this because of the constant surveilance you'd be under in that environment. 2.) Guards seem to have an inconsistent level of discipline, and self-control. Which seems to prove the Stanford Prison Experiment correct.
You did a really good sponsorship for manscape... I’ve seen other people on RUclips do a portion of their video who sponsored manscape and it in no way even compares to yours. Good video, dude. Thankfully, I don't lead any kind of life that puts me at odds with the law or puts me at risk of going to prison. It's good to see a former inmate who appears to have put their life together and gotten on a better path. Congrats on that.
Preface to a few related questions: for years (even before this pandemic), I had told my students the worst place to be in a pandemic is points of travel (airports, airlines, ships, etc) and institutions (schools, day care centers, long term care and of course prisons). Aside from this pandemic, does the system vaccinate prisoners on processing into the system? Do they provide annual flu vaccines and how does the prison system deal with infectious outbreaks.
Larry should do a compilation of all his sponsorship videos, I would watch all of them again without skipping. Those stuff are better than 85% of other RUclips videos.
Spent 6-1/2 years as a guard and I can say that last part is accurate, when COVID hit the detainees started rioting and as a last resort they had a round the clock Cert team ready with riot shields and gear, the pepper spray and the pepper (spray) grenade launcher in the hallway ready to run into any dorm at any time it was crazy, and when the worst dorms went, I got orders to lock myself in the bathroom as a last resort since I was alone and no backup could be sent

Larry, I always come to listen to your videos when I'm feeling depressed, beat up by life, or hopeless. You are really an inspiration to people that no matter how jacked up your life gets you can turn it around. thank you for inspiring me to push forward every day, and some days I have o remind myself that no matter how jacked up my life is there are people who have got it worse.
Thanks, Larry, Keep it up
When I lived in Phoenix from 92-96 and I truly felt safer because everybody had a gun. Nothing but love and respect from Brookfield Connecticut brother, keep up the amazing work!!!
I’m from the UK and only recently discovered Larry Lawton, really enjoy listening to his story’s,
Always remember, best way to survive prison is don’t do something that’ll get you there in the first place
I always say that
Bullshit this system is SET UP to lock People Up look up Prison Industrial Complex that ought to Teach ya something...(CCA)CORRECTIONS CORPORATION OF AMERICA Get to know it and know it WELL!!!!.
@@GABRIELADAWSON You sound like a Gabriela
@@GABRIELADAWSON I’m 50 years old. I’ve yet to go to prison. I wonder how they missed me.
@@anthonysvenforsic4760 Well I wouldn’t be too hasty if I were you cause one day your time might come and you know the Elites don’t give a Flying Fuck about who gets Affected or Not...You’ve been Lucky so far but I’m just saying..
Every time I see your channel pop up I get a little smile seeing how well your channel is doing. I remember like 2 or 3 years ago(probably longer) watching you channel with like 60-70k subs and thinking that it wouldn't be long until you were into the 7 digits. Keep it up man you've earned it.
I haven't seen all your videos but "How many different uses for toilet paper" was something that I found pretty cool while I was down. Lol
So true.
Thank you for the cancer psa Larry, my brother had it when he was young and nearly died. It's a very preventable cancer and the message is important to get out there.
You know it's a good time when you see him in your notifications
thanks!
I can’t imagine the feeling. I bet he’s thinking about you too!
If he was caught up with those things, he could have died. So while I'm sure it's of little comfort, you have to remember that 10 years in prison can just be a chapter in what could be a long and fruitful life. Hopefully he gets through the experience and is able to learn from it. All the best with your situation.

Larry: all old timers have crazy. Also Larry: i was an old timer
Well, at least he's honest.
Honestly jails were worse. 500x more boring and commissary is shit. Only difference is the inmates aren't as psychotic. all the time that is
My first day i saw a guy get stabbed by a corkscrew like object, saw his guts spill out. The attackers friend shouted
" thats the wrong guy " 🥴
😯
I know it's wrong but I can't stop laughing 🤣
When you accidentally shank the wrong target.
@@TheAkrillion Yo...it was a corkscrew bu longer, thats when I realized, I could die here.
@@rubend9391 Sounds about right. In my country, the previous government was corrupt, so a lot of people in prisons got subjected to literal torture, most notable cases being guards raping young prisoners with broom sticks. That's when I realized I'd rather just stay irrelevant and not go to prison.
I was having such a bad day but when larry post i smile 😊
I'm smiling if you are smiling
@@LarryLawtonJewelThief thanks so much larry 🤗 it means alot
I do appreciate honest and humble advice from someone that's been there done that.
ill never forget when i found your channel last year
Thanks so much Larry for bringing up the testicular cancer. I had on removed, it didn't spread and at 69 still get a decent chubby. Guys listen to Larry regarding this subject. Believe me , a stiff rid is the last thing on your mind when you're told you have cancer. Fantastic job Larry, as always.
Here from Iran. Learned a lot and enjoyed a lot from this channel. Here to let Larry know his reach
I heard y’all have some insane prisons , I know they don’t play because they hang gay people in public !!
Manscape needs to definitely give you a lot of money 💰!
Love your videos , I am sure that they have helped many people. You seem like a honestly good person. Wishing you continued success for the rest of your life.
I always thought the dropping the soap was more of a metaphorical story to be careful thing not that you'd literally be violated if you dropped it.
Yeah he doesn't know about other prisons. U bend over in front of the booty bandit. Yeah your getting it😅😂. He says, booty is better then food. Look up the booty bandit on lock up raw. The guards feared this man of being raped😅😂
Everytime i listen to you talk about what happened at a certain year i think, what did i do at that time and it blows my mind every time. Love your stories Larry
Christmas 2019 I had one of my testicles removed due to cancer. Thanks for bringing some attention to it, I feel like you did it with a good balance of humor and seriousness :D
It's not like a bad cancer, it's just scary. And then when you gotta talk about it, and everyone gets awkward because you use the word "testicle". xD
1 ball is more than enough
i saw this guys channel on youtube for a long time. glad i finally clicked. he’s great.
You're really inspiring with your story! Thanks a lot for sharing, it will sure help a lot of people

I like doing these bideos
Any idea when you would do another Ask me Anything? I have a question or two for you but not sure where to submit it?
Thank you so much Larry…every one of these videos is gold!
Only Larry can make a sponsored ad entertaining
Thanks for spreading awareness on testicular cancer Lar, I’m 24 n never thought of it that way I’m gonna start checking myself monthly , much love brother
Can you make a video about the gangs in prisons like the aryan brotherhood and the blood or crip. Love your videos btw

How bout just end your shower and leave it on the floor? I think I'd prefer to miss cleaning a few of my body parts than experience a surprise backdoor visit!
I had a friend in prison drop his soap in the shower, he said "dammit" and bent down and picked it up. As soon as he stood up, he intentionally dropped it and said "Oh, not again....". We were all laughing so hard
Growing up I was book smart, but I've learned so much listening to ex-cons, and old soldiers about real life. Keep up the great work.
I'd say ex-cons got the most to teach.
Hi Larry, I like listening to your stories! I don't think I'll ever find myself in prison, but I have learned so much from you. Thank you!
Same, information like this is nice to file away, just-in-case.
Love ur channel Larry. So interesting. Listening to you reminds me to make my best choices daily. Stay safe, from Australia 🇦🇺 🙋🏻♀️👍
Hey Larry, I just wanted to thank you for your awesome content. I had covid back in january till february and while quarantined for nearly a month I would watch your videos religiously. Which truly helped me during those rough times and truly thankful for you. Love the humor and cool videos! I try my hardest to be good and not go to prison... wasn't able to see my gal for a month and it felt like hell. I don't wanna know what it's like to go to prison.. Love ya lots Larry! Ray from Miami.
We need a sequel! Ten more myths!
You pulled up in my feed yesterday and I’ve been binge watching since.
"That guy is 3 times your size! Think Mark! He'll crush your bones into dust!"

Hey Larry I appreciate you touching on that on that cancer I'm fighting stage 4 melanoma cancer been given like six to nine months to live but I'm fighting it so keep up the good work man loving your shows
Hope you are still with us friend
Hope you made it.
Honestly that manscape in the beginning had me dying when Larry took his shirt off
I don't know what made me click on this, but you reeled me right in, man. I think I could listen to you talking about almost anything on earth--I learned about tessiscula cancer, man-grooming, prison psychology, human nature, and somehow felt really 'edified' by this.
My friends are not going to understand when I share this on FB, but given where I'm from (New Orleans), I suspect this could be useful information to more people than I expect.
You are awesome. :)
I love your analysis Larry and your ads are hilarious
thanks - we have fun making them!
I randomly came across this video. Some other videos was recommended just only now watching. I've learnt new facts and I thank you
Thank you for making these videos, sir.

Never been to prison and hope to never go but you’re the best prison content creator out there man. Thanks for all you do.
13:27 Reminds me of the Morgan Freeman character in Stephen King's "The Shawshank Redemption."
One of the best people I ever met in my life was the "old man with advice". He could get on your nerves complaining and nagging about being locked up lol. But he was smart as hell and on top of that, he was hilarious! I could LISTEN to that dude talk all day and not say a word.
Love the videos Larry! Keep it up :)
thanks much appreciated
Omg, Larry 🤣 BEST AD EVER. Thank you for supporting and advocating for men's health! Its a topic that needs to be talked about, especially with how bad things are in our prison systems. The assaults need to stop, the system needs more levels to truly protect and rehabilitate when possible.
I'm so happy the hit the big guy thing wasn't true. I'm 6'4" and at the time was 280 lbs .That was back when I had to spend a few times to Cook County jail (had a drinking and drug problem for a few decades, have been clean and sober for over 15 years now though). I was almost always the biggest guy in the cell block and every time I had to go in, everyone would call me big show after the wrestler. So glad nobody came up and just hit me because I was big...that would have ruined my experience at the hotel California haha. New sub here as I've been enjoying your content, Thanks!
Eating ramen and watching videos about prison life has been my mood recently.
