Hi Kerrie, through the magic of TV you were able to create several fabric master boards which then morphed into coordinating journal covers, tags, pockets---all in less than 20 minutes! It's a miracle & very clever idea. Kudos, Hazel
This was amazing and so inspiring. I wish i had some of your scraps, I’m just starting out so I don’t have a collection of fabrics yet. New subbie here came over from Angela’s channel through the hop. The journal covers and tags are beautiful. TFS! Crafty hugs, 🤗 teri
Thank you so much,Teri!!! I find all of my fabric at the thrift stores. I love using vintage sheets as well because the patterns are just so colourful and they are really inexpensive. Thanks for subscribing 🥰❤️
#GIVEASCRAP Kerrie! These are so delightful & whimsical! Love all your beautiful flora, gingham, shabby chic, geometrical & ribbon scraps! Magical! Thank you for sharing!
I remember having the Holly Hobby appliqués on my sweaters when I was little. Great memories…probably why I still love Holly Hobbie❤️🥰 Thanks for watching ❤️
Kerrie - these covers are simply amazing!!!! As someone who loves fabric but not sewing (yeah - go figure huh?) you've made this process seem attainable to me. Thank you for that!!!
What a great idea! Using the scraps and repurposing other items is simply fasinating. However could you please excuse my nieve self and tell me how to use those pretty pockets and tags you made ? Thanks heaps! 😊
Thank you Sherry! So my next step for this project is to add signatures, which are the pages of the journal. Once the pages are in, then I will decorate them and add pockets. Then I will stuff all the pockets with tags and ephemera. I will be doing a video on decorating these journals.❤️🥰
Wow you nailed this and made beautiful covers from all those marvelous scraps. Thanks for sharing! And most of all for participating ❤ I appreciate u!!!
Hi Kerrie, LOVED this 'accidental find' now I have a reason to save more scraps than I already do 🤣 seriously though, I really love the idea of this project. Thank you. Kerry.
These are gorgeous, thank you for showing what you do. Was that a miniture iron? I could only see a little of it. What kind of glue did you use? Could you show us a little more of what you do and use and how they turn out?😅
Oh my goodness. I love this idea. My mind is blown DT has fusible lining??? Once again I think mine is the worst DT. It seems to take them 2 years to get products. Although, I love to sew tote bags and such so I have a bolt of this stuff and tons of scraps. Thanks for the great idea and these are sooo sweet.
Just found your channel. That is such a great to use up fabric scraps. And so pretty, too! What is that netting you put over the fabric before you did the zigzagging?
