I did it, saved me some time & trouble, worked great. The only thing not mentioned is how to center the drive pin between the piston & the MC. I used a large straw through the center of the "star" support to keep the pin centered as it went through.
I just replaced the gaskets 4 the hydro booster in my wife’s Chevy work van today & now your video pops up on my thread “be carful the phone is listening to all of us even though it’s in our pocket”
I just did this, and it is doable, but...you can have problems doing this. When I separated the two halves of the hydroboost a little green plastic piece came out of a small hole (accumulator check valve?) and landed in the grass. I figured out where it went and reassembled. Brakes and steering were horrible. Took it apart AGAIN and determined I was missing something els found it in the grass (lucky), put it in based on best guess and vague instructions, and now it works. If you do it this way you need to have a bag or something under it to catch stuff that might come out. Also, the figure 8 gasket doesn't like to stay in place very well doing it on the truck. This still might be the best way though if your booster is a pain to remove.

Would this work If the power boost is leaking through the weep hole?
Right? That big ol' hole is obviously going to leak. Why is there no way to plug it??
Brother where do you live? I'm moving next door...
I did it this way, it worked for a while but started leaking again.
Ima try this fuck buying a whole new one lol
