Chris, you are killing it with this content. I think Rieske and Muller is innovating far ahead of the rest of the market. The carry makes a front loader practical in so many other small applications. The Packster 2 makes so much sense.
Moving to NY in October and I am planning to get the Load4 75 or Packster 2 70 CT as my main mode of transportation. Sure I'll be checking out Propel after following the channel for a long time.
Absolutely! The Packster 2 really does have that inspiring look and practicality that can make a big impact in communities. It’s great to see how design and function can come together to create something so versatile.
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed. There's definitely a lot of innovation happening right now, and these new ebikes are really exciting. Appreciate you watching!
Thanks foe the update Chris. Always look forward to these Euro bike updates. That Homage looks like it weighs two tons!!! In Europe, because of the 15.5mph limit, many ebikes a slog to pedal above this limit unless you're going firmly down hill. I am reasonably fit and even on the riese and Muller roadster which is one of the lighter ones, the effort to pedal beyond the limit is not worth it. Its why ive bought the speedbox to increase the top to 20mph. I still love my Mango gravel bike but the ebike is helping me cut out more local car journeys. Great hear especially about the sustainability aspects and repairability aspects!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoy the Eurobike updates. The Homage is definitely a beast! I hear you on the speed limits in Europe-they can make it tough to get that extra push. It's awesome that your ebike is helping you reduce car journeys; that's what it's all about! 🙂
Considering moving from super delite rohloff to either a Tern or Homage, hard choice for me come next year. Enjoy the Tern, most Terns pass my Super Delite and we're limited to 25kph here.
Please please please be the dealer that brings the pinion MGU to the US. I can guarantee that you will have at least one customer: me!!!! I will be on the first flight to Brooklyn if you bring us the MGU!!
Love the enthusiasm! The Pinion MGU is definitely exciting stuff. We’re always looking to bring the best to our customers so stay tuned!! You might be booking that flight to Brooklyn soon enough!
Any idea when that SuperDelite + Pinion MGU will be available US? Some dealers optimistic about early '25, others saying don't hold your breath until '26?
pinion has entered the building. can't wait to see a review of how it compares to the rohloff. i'm most interested in its ability to climb hills. appreciate RM being one of the first to bring the MGU to North America. i thought we had to wait longer!
Aw, I wish the homage rack was still the same colour as the rest of the bike. I liked how that colour continued into the rack on the previous model, it was one of the most appealing traits to me.
I really like the new Delite 5 in this amber color, coming in 2025, so good... I wish you would have talked about that and all about the Pinion system on this bike. But of course I understand that you are in the USA and might not be interested in it since you don't have it yet. Being in France, I will not be your customer, but your videos are always very well documented and this is why I watch them. I do not plan to change my bike now, but who knows. I like this one so much.
I have a 2019 Delite GX extreme rohloff HS US that is the old scabbed on battery look. I actually like that look as it isn't trying to hide being an ebike. I got it in 2021 but it was a floor sample and I got it for half the list price with a full 2 year warranty. I'm 6'5" and the 56cm fits me perfectly. For the past 3 years I have ridden it 6K miles per year and last year the Bosch motor gave out just 3 months before the warranty expired. My dealer replaced the motor (took about a month) and I was off riding again. I have other ebikes but the R&M is by far my favorite. The little Bosch motor provides just as much help as I need but isn't stupid fast or powerful. It is quiet and the Rohloff is next level electronic shifting. My bike was built before the pandemic and unfortunately before the move to the gates belt drive. I have replaced the chain twice and that's pretty good for 18K miles traveled. My usual exercise ride is 50 miles and includes almost 3K feet of climbing is paved street, bike trail, gravel roads and single track mountain bike trails. I do this ride in just under 3 hours 2-3 times per week plus some weekend recreational riding with my wife. I've owned and ridden Specialized, Trek and many other ebikes and frankly none could touch the R&M for build quality, versatility and perfect riding geometry (agility and control). I love this bike and when it dies, I will very likely pay pay full price for a fully customized Superdelite with Rohloff belt drive. Many complain about the price and it is high but for my use case, it is much cheaper than a Jet Ski or Motorcycle that would provide far less utility let alone the health benefits I get from this wonderful machine. Sometimes you do get what you pay for and more.
I have a Rohloff on a Nevo 3. I like the electronic shifting, but it reminds me of driving an 18 wheeler with a small torque band, and a lot of shifting. I feel a 7 speed Rohloff, if they made one, would be perfect for an ebike.
Wow, your bike sounds like it’s been an amazing ride for you! It’s great to hear how well it’s held up over the miles and how much you appreciate its build quality and versatility. It’s awesome that you’re getting so much out of your bike and enjoying it so thoroughly. Thanks for sharing your experience!!🙌
@@4GregFsuper delite rohloff here for last 4 years, I just press and hold the gear shift button to jump 3 gears at a time, happy days. Only downside was the carbon belt gave out at 4,500km, we reckon it was a manufacturing fault as the snapped belt made no sense breaking at gear 9 under mild acceleration.
Just looking for a HS cargo bike that can fit 2 piles of EPS crates 😛 The load 75 can do it with some custom building required. As standard would be great!
Finding the perfect HS cargo bike for specific needs can be a bit of a challenge.... The Load 75 is a solid choice and with some customization, it can handle quite a bit
So excited about the Carrie -- the US has been seriously missing compact front-loader options. It's also actually crazy that as a front-loader it weighs only ~75 pounds. Even if that doesn't include the cargo box, that's about as much as some fat tire folding bikes weigh lol.
I totally agree! The Carrie is a fantastic addition to the US market, filling a much-needed gap for compact front-loaders. And yeah, its weight is impressive for a front-loader!!
Any chance you would stop by Canyon Bikes? I know that bike stores are not found with the idea of direct sales but perhaps you can see any collaboration with Canyon to assemble, service and sell parts to Canyon clients. No?
Homage 5 with more upright sitting position ?! I have the previous version and, to feel comfortable, have to switch original seatpost to one with 3cm stepback and have the headpost all the way down; new geometry does not seem adapted to me. Integrated lock and new carrier will be great improvements for everyday use. And new Rohloff trigger sure is !!! Will it be compatible with previous version of Bosch system ??? Will Load models use new 800W batteries ?
This, so far, is the best video I have seen about the R&M presence from the Eurobike 2024. Thank you for this great content! 👌🏻 I currently drive a Superdelite GT Rohloff HS, and the new Superdelite shown does kind of tickle the "must have" corner in my brain. Especially because of the possibility to have a different powertrain, as I believe the Bosch motor is not suitable for a High Speed bike of this weight class. I would be interested to see whether they will use the M99 Pro 2 on the HS model so the new Supernova Horn 2 is used. In the model I have, the horn is situated extremely idiotically. The only disappointment for me was, that R&M continues to use that Pletscher kickstand, which I replaced on my Superdelite, as it almost caused me to crash while going in a bumpy curve, where it kicked open.
So glad you found the video helpful!! The new Superdelite does look intriguing, especially with the potential for different powertrain options. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience!😄
They say two kids up to 7 year old, the width is 65 cm so that is no problem, 45 cm long so not too much space for feet. And it german so don't worry about the weight.
Got a Charger4 a few months ago. It’s good but not great. Bosch motor SO noisy! Still use my previous Specialized all the time, motor way quieter and punchier.
Wow. A bike for rich lazy people. I couldn’t imagine being so fragile that I would need full suspension and a battery for the city. All these batteries will end up underground at some point.

When will the bottom half of the multi charger rain cover come out??
R&M 🔥🔥🔥
When will the Rohloff triggers be available in the US for retrofit on E14s?
I wish manufacturers would feature rider weight limits just like they do heights.
When will this be available in the U.S.?
When is the pinon motor going to be available in the US
Why is the transporter model never talked about? There are very few videos on it
Hey R&M, how about a Pinion MGU in a cargo bike?
Great bikes, too expensive too heavy.
How heavy is this first bike
they should really look at a bike that can legally carry an adult passenger

For the same price you can buy an electric car.
But a car does not have the advantages of a bike...
In Cities, bikes are faster, cheaper to maintain and healthier.
