In the fourth episode of the Money Marx Money Audit Show, we dissect the finances of another High Net Worth Individual who is a Landscape Architect earning more than R 100 000 per month!
We look at his income, expenses, debt, investments, and financial goals, and then take a deep dive into the calculations to see if this individual will be able to meet his financial obligations and money goals.
This episode is really important, because I touches on the importance of having adequate risk cover in place, making sure your Will is drawn and updated and how one needs to go about prioritizing your financial goals. It's really interesting to see other people's financial breakdowns like this and hear your opinions of how you would improve things.
    Thanks Dr Marx.

For the education fund. Don’t forget CGT on the equities when the investments are liquidated or the portfolio is adjusted to a lower risk portfolio.

Useful videos, however for professionals like myself who work in conservation, we rarely earn enough to even put money into a pension fund and our savings are often very low. I'd really like to see financial help for professionals who work in underpaid industries.

The wife might be able to contribute to the UK equivalent of a Tax Free Investment Account. Keeps money offshore in hard currency.

you planning on retiring at 35... I'm turning 35... jobless.... broke AF … depleted all my savings, sold my car..... its beyond a nightmare to start over.
    (Note to those reading this)
if you mess up in any way shape or form by the time you hit 30 to mid 30ies, there is practically no hope of recovering your financial situation. The odds of catching up on compounding interest/effect or getting lucky with some major cash injection is zero.
You will become nothing more than a rental extraction for the system, having a family of your own will be a pipe dream.
