I wish they would revert back to the original Gamecube style :(
GameCube designs would look uncanny with more detailed graphics. These designs are better for modern specs.
Especially with the music too. Everything seems more childish.

Genuinely so hyped for this game.
Huh, with the arrow on the ball, I thought it'd be a mobile title, but heck yeah new monkey ball!
The arrow on the ball is for the new mechanic of this game. You can charge up and dash to get across gaps and shoot off ramps and stuff.
The level design looks like it is on par with the classics - no guard rails, geometric shaped track design. That's all I need to know!
But Spin Dash is Sonic the Hedgehog's favorite move.

Jam and Jet should come back in banana rumble. Oh and some guest character should come back to and add new ones like Ichiban and Saeko from Yakuza
Sega needs to focus on improving the controls of this release, I couldn't enjoy the remake of 1+2 because of how messed up the control was compared to the GameCube versions. At least put in a GameCube mode on switch so we can use the proper cpntroller as well

@@adam145 Oh it's absolutely fun, but I felt like I couldn't do the more extreme levels or travel in a straight line as well as in the OG
It would be extremely difficult to replicate the feel of the gamecube games unless they used the same exact code which they aren't gonna do. They've moved on unfortunately
People who have gotten to play this game early have said that it feels better than Banana Mania, and the devs have said in interviews that they used feedback to adjust the way the ball controls. We’ll have to wait and see how it actually feels, though.
