@@MArgusChopinGyver It's mostly CGI so don't think that's spherical camera, they were recorder separetly and then pasted into "sphere" . Either way it's not rocket science as well. It's very similar to cubemaps in games which we are using for years for faking reflections.
I would've finished the whole video without realizing that it was 360° video until I decided to read the comments LOL. I mean it didn't really matter, I was just beginning to be a fan and I primarily came for music. Love them always ❤️

Aside from the many people who didn't realise 360 degree videos existed before this one, and so didn't move the camera in their first watch through, every single view saw a slightly different video. I think this is a great way to do music videos, cos every song means something slightly different to every person.

Tim Cantor is an amazing artist and I love the visuals he gave to Smoke + Mirrors. Back in July of 2015 he signed my ticket to the Dallas show and took pictures with fans. He was super sweet and down to earth and his art in this video is incredible.
