Nice Class A perfect size for a couple.A non slide version would also be nice to lower cost and mechanical issues. A small but nice feature would be side mirrors that you can pull in when parked.
If Thor would start to offer induction cooktops & more solar/battery in their class a/c vehicles, id def. consider purchasing one. I dont like messing w/ LP..
They allow you to customize yourself with the system you want. I prefer that. You can go victron 12v, 990a with 3x330ah and multiplus 3000w cerbo gx monitor 7inch lynx distributor orion 700w dc-dc dual alternator. Or you can build a similar system with lithionics 12v 320ah x 3 or battleborn 270ah x 3 , or install a 52 volts lithionics 620ah battery and 5000w or two 3000 in paralel inverter. Also the roof allow easily 4 x 250w Onyx Rich panels and two mppt can easily connect an external bluetti pv420 panel with mc4 connector. There is a lot of possibilities. Thor provide you the raw rv then you customize it. I like that.
You’ll might get used to it. I think most rvs are like that. Way different than pulling a trailer. Also I mounted everything I possible could lol soup dispenser and remotes.
Pro tip for non winter climates 48v alternator and all running off of 48v dc power not 120ac including the Air conditioner. My next upgrade with be adding a 12v ac unit. So if you’re driving there’s no reason to run the ac. I hated searching for propane. I lived out of my 24’ Class A all over California.
But propane is very efficient. A solution costly would be to convert to a hydronic system gas or diesel (i think gemini propose that gas version on the 24kb) it used the gas tank if over 30%. So you can remove the propane bottle, the heater furnace and water heater uses the hydronic system and the cooktop would be induction electric but you need absolutely to customize the electrical system with 990-ah and inverter 3000w multiplus victron for example, with 1000w on the roof and 420w external, alternator dc-dc orion 700w during driving and dual alternator. The truma aventa eco a/c is very efficient and silent and proposed with ducted option now. The 12v are noisy and not that efficient from what i have seen but maybe it will change. Truma propose also a gas/diesel hydronic system, as well as timberline if i remember (used in the Tiffin wayfarer)
Do we need a special license for this coach ? I know that coach with air brakes on big class A require a special license. It is nearly same length than the compass kb24 but with more stronger chassis and so much more occc with 3400 lbs, it is good for 3/4 adults and a dog. How much can it tow ? 8k?
Good morning. We would suggest checking with your local license branch. Requirements will vary from state to state. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
@@ThorMotorCoach Does it have air brake? Thanks. That’s the only thing that would require a extra license? If it is not air brake but it is normal disk brake i would be fine with my car license. I cannot see in your website what kind of brake it is.
Good morning! This information and more will be found on our website. I have provided the link below for you to the 24.1. www.thormotorcoach.com/vegas/floor-plans/24.1 The MSRP for this coach starts at $172,350. The seatbelts are in the cockpit chairs and 3 in the sofa. I hope that information helps out! Have a great day and please stay in touch with any other questions.
I just drove from Chicago to Alaska and averaged 11 mpg. In traffic or driving 65mph, I was getting 9.5. Unloaded (only 10 gal water, no gear or passengers) open highway driving 60 mph I consistently got 11.5 -12.5. Best measured was 13.8 mpg. Yeah, that's crazy!
No option to put in a conventional oven? If I can, I will. Frankly, there should always be an oven underneath the cooktop and the microwave should always be above the cooking area.
I enjoyed this video. Love the way you pre-staged the coach. Give me a great look at how much room is in this RV.

I would love them to look at Asian and UK design as well.

We just bought one and unfortunately it is very loud on the road :( on top of that the engine heat was unbearable 😢 inside the cab.

Insulate the dog house with self stick reflective insulation. It’s not terribly difficult, just takes a little time. Makes a big difference.

What's the MPG?

@@arcticgps Agree I get roughly the same in my 2024 Vegas
That’s not bad at all… my old Dodge Durango gave me about the same mpg! 😂

Good morning! Thank you for your suggestion. We will share this with our Product Development team. Thanks, Brandon @ TMC.
👍👍
Great. Going to get one tomorrow
You will regret buying a THOR product! Don't do it!
