THE BEST GT3 SIMULATOR ? - Race Room Racing Experience

- In this video we explain why we think Race Room Racing Experience might be the best simulator when it comes to GT3 racing. From the amount of GT3 cars, the incredible audio and the track selection to the general all round polish R3E does GT3 right.
Despite my personal vendetta against the GT3 public server disorder that is endemic to Project Cars 2 and Assetto Corsa I have to admit that driving GT3 cars in R3E is simply “fun” and no other simulator in my opinion delivers this class of racing with such consistent polish across every car track and race.
R3E is currently doing a 50% sale on all its track content and we are going to be setting up our own R3E servers for live streaming so if you were on the fence now is certainly the time to fall off it and land on the shrubbery.
If you are buying R3E content make sure you buy R3E VRP here www.raceroomst...
I'd then recommend that you buy track packs and tracks primerly as this will then let you join any server and you only need 1 car of a given class to take part in a server.
So for example if you wanted to join our 90s DTM or GT3 server you can do so by having the track the server is on and only 1 GT3 car or one 90s DTM car.
Race Room Racing does work with VR but keep in mind that it requires a moderately fast PC simular to what is required to run Project Cars 2 in VR think GTX 1070 though the game does run very well when it comes to non VR gaming and also allows for insane gride sizes !
Thanks for watching and reading , look forwards to your comments and seeing you in our live streams ! GMV

RR is my fav sim, i just wish it had more players, also despite not haveing a safety system the racing is surprisingly clean, i really wana see this sim grow.
Fellow RR sim racer
You can actually pick up everything in the game for £52 at the moment thanks to the raceroom sale, and when you consider thats about as much as a standard game to buy raceroom is actually a decent deal with just how much content it contains
I spent $60 on Iracing.com only was able to get 3 tracks and 2 cars. So yeah thats a good deal. also I already own all content in R3E
Which site are you looking at? Its £88 on the one I'm looking at. The site will deduct stuff you already own so be careful.
David Wright if you buy 10k VRP off the cheaper store you can buy everything with that, to buy the VRP pack is £52
Thanks for the explanation Matt. And now I know why no one likes the Raceroom purchasing system. What a bizarre system!!
David Wright yeah as GM says its completely flawed, just gotta shop around, a lot of people also recommend if you getting 10k VRP to spend about 7.5k on stuff you want and then saving a couple of thousand but id just spend it all 😂😂
Hey, I'm in this first race! :D
Anyway, R3E indeed does give the best GT3 experience. The cars feel very stable and refined as opposed to other games where the setups from default don't feel set up to race / be stable at all, which makes it easier to just jump into a race and actually put down proper lap times.
Add the insane diversity of tracks and cars plus the insane sounds and you've really got yourself hours of fun on your hands.
RR is underrated because kids don't know quality, all the bad steam reviews are not even about the sim. It's about the prices.
At least there is no big problem with getting a clean race on payware tracks.
LangCaster See people don’t really understand. This game has a sale for ALL of their content for $80. That comes out to $0.37 per car/track layout. Compare that to iR and it looks like the biggest deal of the century. Also compare that to PC2 where the Ultimate Edition was $90. R3E with all 130+ cars and 70+ layouts is less than that. Honestly, it’s a REALLY good deal and it’s definitely a game I’d recommend. And weirdly enough, I would HIGHLY suggest it for a wheel and VR user. My attention was brought back when I remembered that the 2017-bodied V10 F1 was in the game and I’d just bought a Vive. Got it working and the sounds from the test drive were almost unmatched.
Indeed it is! RR has the best FFB by far!
Its a great time to pick up tracks for raceroom as they are having a Christmas sale and all tracks and track packs are 50% off :)
Up vote so people can see - you don't need to spend a lot in raceroom, just grab a single car to start (which you can test before buying) then when the sales are on, grab everything else that you can / want etc.
Join my channel mate for R3E VR
What R3E does best is Group5 and GTO. No competition out there for it.
As for GT3, you can always troll BMW/Audi fanboys with the Mustang/Camaro. That`s always worth something.
This video made me buy a GT3 car and 2 trackpacks last week and today i bought the premium? pack (all the content) and i am loving it. The AI is good enough, the sound is amazing and with the Oculus rift its just an epic experience. Its my new Automobilista since that has no vr.
I’ve finally decided to shell out some money for a racing wheel. It’s very different from a controller XD
KiddoPlays Official Congrats man, you have hundreds of hours of fun ahead of you!
So excited to start racing in Project cars 2! I only bought the wheel today, a speedlink trailblazer.
No shit.
Speedlink is not a sim wheel, it's a child toy.
Gondwana Gaming meh.
Love R3E. Bought the last 11 tracks I didn't own yesterday and the C7. With the 50% off X-mas sale it was well worth it since I spend so much time in this game so great getting Silverstone and the other legendary tracks at half price. Racing for me is offline against the AI but one day I'll venture on RD and take part in mutiplayer.
If only they would add the Ferrari and Lamborghini Huracan - Love me some Grasser Racing Team!
Overall, great review, just picked up R3E as wel and am loving the GT3 content. Nice work Gamer Muscle!
Looking forward for those weekly races :D Hopefully I'll have some free time to join!
You would think, that with GT3 being the most popular cars with online racing, that there would be a market for a dedicated GT3 sim with full series cars + tracks and race formats. I guess that will have to remain, just a dream....
GTR3 anyone? Simbin are (apparently) working on it.
They are. However, I get a feeling we will be milked by them for additional cars etc, basically the same content as RRE rebadged under GTR3. Mooooooooooooooooooooo.
Dream no more hey!
I was never that keen on R3E but I do like GT3 racing (as a limited skills driver) and these cars have transformed the game for me - the sounds, the way they drive, everything just works and is great fun, so thumbs up from me. Only thing I'd say is that R3E is still a little on the priced side when you compare to other games DLCs - I never buy anything at full price.
Ian Kirkpatrick I fully agree with you. Well said!
PROJECT CARS IS A JOKE COMPARED TO R3E race room can be baught for 65 dollars for everything on special
Time and again I come back to RRE. It’s arguably the most solid package out there. I’d certainly like more single seater content, but there’s still plenty of subtlety in all the cars. Sounds are unquestionably still setting the bar in the industry and the tracks are beautifully modeled.
GT 3 is good in R3E yes, BUT dont oversee the incredible fun Openwheeler. The Formula Junior or the F 4 are extremely fun on smaller Tracks like the Swedish ones. Highly recommend those as well for the GM RaceRoom Server !
The P4/5 Competitzione is the Jim Glickenhaus' (USA) Ferrari style car which has been running at Nurburgring 24hrs but not at Le Mans which Jim wanted but the FIA wouldn't allow it.
I think Raceroom is one of the few sims that support doing an out lap during practice for the Nurburgring 24hrs which is at it is IRL.
I've been told that it's cheaper to buy Raceroom VRP from Raceroom's own store as it's cheaper. As I have most of the content the rest is heavily discounted for me but I anyway could never figure out how to add VRP to my account from the site. I bought a series of Formula style cars a few days ago and the site price on the site was the same as on Steam I think so I didn't notice a price difference, or at least I didn't think so.I must be missing something...
[EDIT] An I get it now you buy vrp from the main site www.raceroomstore.com/shop_en/list_page?cat=24 and not the Raceroom specific store game.raceroom.com/store/ it's a bit confusing...
What's missing is Le Mans and Sebring. Would be nice to have and especially when the Porsche are published.
For online you can setup a serve using the app they placed in the Tools menu in Steam so GM you could then setup a server quite easily?
Davy Jones If you buy VRP in the raceroom store==>hardware, you can buy packs of VRP and so have a discount of max 35%.
understood. Is there a reason why the option to buy vrp doesn't appear to be available in the game content store?
No, don't understand why they made it so difficult
There's a 50% discount on everything in Raceroom at the moment. Now may be the time. . . .
For those that didn't know - RUF will be replaced by Porsche (apparently on Tuesday). You won't be able to buy RUF after that anymore but will still be able to drive it if you own it so make sure you get them before they disappear.
All fantastic news from my shallow pocketed R3E fanboy perspective! :)
Nice Advert Gamermuscle :P . i totaly agree on you for this video and for you advice i give that also to people make sure you have al the tracks and then only buy the cars you like because face it you can buy i think for 99€ all but the cars you dont like your not gonna drive it .also dont forget wtcc,DTM and "92Dtm they are also very nice to drive and give amazing competition.
It's not 99€, it's like 50€/60€ for all the content if I'm not mistaken.
In terms of GT3 content, it's a toss up between PC2 and RR. Raceroom has the new corvette while PC2 has the cadillac. AC is not so far behind and I guess when it comes to exclusives like the SCG003 and P4/5. It's the only sim with that car atm and it's really well done. I don't know why but AC seems to struggle with licensing front engine, rear wheel drive GT3s. They are currently missing the Acura, Aston, Corvette, BMW and Bentley.
On the good side, three of those 5 are introducing new cars that will likely have GT3/GTE variants. Aston and Bentley have new GT3 cars on the way while BMW has a new GTE car in the M8. Callaway's Corvette has been cleared to race in America so I guess the licensing should be a lot more straight forward compared to last year. If you noticed, rfactor2 and raceroom got the corvette in short succession. If those two can get it then Kunos can acquire the Corvette as well.
With that said, rfactor and RR seem to have a good relationship with German auto manufacturers just like how Kunos is really close to Ferrari, Lambo and Alfa.
Looking forward to the server. See you at the track
good luck with that no response from the server error all the time that's why I deleted it race room is trash I spent 30 bucks just to have the gt3 pack and get that error like I said rfactor 2 assetto Corsa automobilista on the best Sims ever when it comes to GT3 racing or whatever kind of racing in my opinion
GT3 racing is associated with endurance racing and its here Raceroom falls down somewhat, with no livetrack/realroad , no dynamic weather, and no dynamic time of day. Also for the single player you do have to own the cars you race against. But there is no doubt Raceroom is a very attractive GT3 sim. I just hope the older content is brought up to the current standard of physics. While the purchasing model is offputting for some and complicates on-line racing, in theory it allows you just to buy the cars and tracks you want rather than pay for a lot of stuff you will never use.
All the GT3 cars have the new physics?
David, you don't have to own other than your own car even in single player mode. The features you mentioned would be great though but i'm sure the devs will be working on them, after changing to the new engine.
I have to agree with your every word ..although for me personally it is also my first choice in many other classes ..great video thanks.
GM I’m struggling with this , love the sounds , ff is great but I don’t get any feedback from the car under braking, seems rather inert, like there’s no shifting of weight distribution ? Is this a set up thing ? I really want to bond with this Sim!
GamerMuscle, you didn't mention that you can test drive before you buy! Only sim that has that feature that I'm aware of. Also the physics on all the GTR3 or GT3 cars were reworked from scratch when the Callaway, Merc AMG and The Audi R8 were released. I have always loved this sim but even more so now and the option to buy one or all paint schemes is also unique.
Good assessment Gamuscle, have to agree. While no one sim is the best at everything, for a "racing" simulator Raceroom is hard to beat! Some may not like the lack of modding but in my book that's actually a plus - everything is consistent and at a very good quality (cars, tracks, sounds, features, AI, FFB, etc.). While I like the GT3's, my favorites are the GTO, Group 5, DTM to name a few. I also like that there are quite a few less "famous" tracks to race on - for me SPA and Brands (sorry :-}) get old.
iRacing fanboys please insert text here
MaDHaX text
iRacing is the bem sim ever
No one ever said.
iRacing fanboys please insert 99$ a years just to access server to play so yes you would expect more enjoyable content. No surprising :)
seb rocco No problem. I use RaceRoom, Rfactor 2, Assetto Corsa, Automovilista and of course I pay for iRacing every year despiste I barely compete at online races... I just enjoy all that sims. Each one has its owns strenghts and weaknesses...
LOL
Would love to see your in game ffb settings if they are different since the gt3 update. I find the cars rather numb right now
Great sim... just need more players
Been on iRacing for the last 5-6 years (After I left rF) I want a new sim to join to race in. Where do I start if I want to do Endurance racing in R3E? (longer then 60min)
just tell us what packs to buy :-) those old DTM/IMSA/Group5 cars looks cool
For racing, sure. RRE GT3 cars are fun to race with. In terms of physics and FFB I put rFactor 2 recent GT3 DLC pack way on top.
You would think that the pub scrubs, that constantly raced on Spa for the last 4 years, would be able to not wreck in turn 1 or manage not go spinning and flying off at Eau Rouge, but no..no they cant. And they never will.
I thought Spa only had 1 corner, you mean to say Spa is an actual circuit ? wtf ? :P
Not that simple. Beside all the scrubs not knowing how to T1, there is a whole magnitude of self proclaimed Sennas doing a fucking bombdive at every turn, inlcuding T1. Happens in all pub mp sims.
Raceroom. Still the best overall racing sim out there. The audio alone is nearly enough to make everything else feel a bit lifeless. Also has excellent FFB and physics. Even the graphics are quite good. If it had weather and tire pressures, it’d be perfect.
I would go a step further and say the R3E has good racing across the board. Look at the Audi TT's, the BMW M235's, the GTO cars, or the classic German Touring cars..etc. .They do a great job of offering full classes of cars to race. And while I have had my issues with the way content is purchased in R3E, ie, paying for individual liveries or having to buy cars that i already own because they are in a different class or "experience"...I will say that overall, when it comes to the things most of us judge sims on, R3E has to be among the best offered today.
how comes they don't have no rain tracks in gt
Just bought the euro track pack and the American track pack. I will purchace a gt3 car or 2
hope to see you on the track. Be looking for your server. used to race rfactor cars and I believe they are the similar. race 07 was another. be looking for your server and The Porche came out and I will be buying me one :)
If only thing game had other than just these track rockets. I would like to build some old cars that don't go billion miles per hour and got some character instead of these.
My favorite sim. I personally like the newest DTM cars.
Another thing which Raceroom's GT3 roaster has over other sims is that they keep the previous gen GT3 cars. Lots of new sims are guilty of this (i'm looking at you Project Cars 2) and they miss alot of great racecars (LMS Ultra , MP4 GT3 , 458 etc.)
Of course it is! I have them all, and play them all, but RRE is the one I would choose if I had to. Sound, immersion, physics, stability, cars choice, etc.. 2nd is Assetto Corsa, 3rd is Project Cars 2. ACC? No, it is boring as Blancpain exclusive...
:-) I agree SO MUCH on your "bad choise" Brands Hatch short :-) Everybody say's the same. BH is a great track (long verson)
I am also enjoing R3E as my favourite sim, and not only the GT3 Class. And i'm still testing them all. I always end up in RR again. But there is afcouse the risk that you get closest to what you are racing most.... Bad circle?
VR now works?
Since when? Just got a riff, gonna have to download again
thanks
I assume you meant Rift
Or more for better quality. I can run 1.5 on 980GTX.
It's not "rough", it's like "roof" :) Alois Ruf is the founder of the company which ennoble/tune Porsches.
Er macht das extra, genau wie jedes Mal das "Porsh". Er weiss von beiden wie sie ausgesprochen werden, will aber die Leute triggern 😉
Technically the Porsche GT3 Cup car isn't a GT3 category car. It's a single series car. So I'd be surprised if it were to feature in the GTR3/GT3 group.
They could bopit
GamerMuscleVideos lol very true. However given the cup cars generate less power than the GT3 cars and have fewer driver aids... It would be a pretty big mistake to throw them into that category... Time will tell!
Either way looking forward to it.
When will the servers be up and running?
@@dair919 you're confusing the 911 gt3 cup and the 911 gt3 R
Is there a monthly subscription?
NO :)
This game is awesome.
Not as good as Max Payne 1 And 2 ;)
DISEASE! Funniest English word in history
Race room is fantastic ,,, the graphics sound and driving experience is everything I could hope for in a sim racer.
Wow ,,, race room in VR looks shitty, like an old TOCA touring cars game.
Don't understand why people like VR so much, it looks woeful, and makes you feel ill,.
Novelty I suppose.
This game running at full resolution is unbelievable and with a driving sim setup right is just as immersive with the added bonus of being able to rub those dry eyes no problem.
No ferrari GT3 in raceroom experience? It's my favourite car :(
No ferrari 488gt3?
They don't have a Ferrari licence , just got porche though which is nice.
GamerMuscleVideos well yeah but i am tifosi
Your loss ;)
GamerMuscleVideos i know😂
No Huracan GT3? 🤔
The Rough Porsh
I only miss the Huracán GT3 :(
oh hi mark
I didn't hit her I did nhaaat.
what a great story!
For tiltle yes
Must have sim! ;)
A shame Ferrari and Aston Martin are missing though
What's wrong with GT3 at Spa?
I mean .... there are people racing the Clios at Brands Hatch each and every day 😉
Maybe because once you choose not to play Ac/PC2 that one day and decide to go on Spa in R3E. You will probably end up in a pub server there with people who race there. Every.Single.Day. For hours.
best sim out there is need for speed anything else is arcade, nay carcade.
i don't like RR the pay thing is silly, if it was a stand alone game yeah no issue, BUT as is i won't touch it.
You can buy all the content for about $40, what's the difference from buying a game that contains all the content from the start? And if you don't want to spend as much and only run a specific car or track, you can.
i have a black toe
what did u just call me m8?
*cough* modded rf2 *cough*
Maybe not as polished but still.
Blocks! This doesn't even beat, or gets near close to ACs Lamborghini Huracan GT3 experience ;)
AC is one of my faverate all round simulators especaily all the mods and then the laser scan tracks + FFB and handling of most the cars. Om balance though the in game track selection + range of GT3 cars + not having to own all DLC to play and just the general package makes R3E a better sim if you were looking to do GT3 specifcally along with large grids across multiple tracks.
GamerMuscleVideos I fullheartedly agree (if that is a word). I'm a huge AC and AMS fan but R3E beats them all regarding the whole GT3 package. I don't mean in general as GM said, but regarding the GT3 overall experience. It's a masterpiece. The three new cars are marvellous!
What? Watch this online race with the Huracan GT3. The visuals, the sounds, the physics dynamics... Just kicks the blocks out of RR ;)
ruclips.net/video/4BUrChISCVk/видео.html
Luis Henrique Caetano
I don't need to follow your link. As I said: I love Assetto Corsa but Sector 3's last update just made me addicted to R3E's GT3 class. Again: I still love AC. ;-) Take a look at my channel. (It's a German channel but as you will see, most of my videos are AC related.) :-)
That may all be true, but what's the point if there's no one there to race with? Every time I check R3E it's mostly just a few races with people in the default cars on default tracks. A bit sad.
Damn GM, I have the base game - and this could be (arguably) the equal best game with AC & PC2, if it isn't already. But I absolutely HATE their pricing model, of buying "groups" of cars. Cos then I personally don't feel like I own the "whole' game, if I buy individual cars, or car packs. But I hate even more the fact that yes, I can buy everything - but the fact that for a game that is now a few years old, to cost me arguably more than a brand new version of Project Cars 2 is simply RIDICULOUS!!!. But it's their loss, and not only am I NOT playing it, but it also means I am not featuring it AT ALL on my channel either.......... and so my MASSIVE 300+ subs are all missing out ha, ha, ha.
SingleRacer agree 100%. It's why I won't be buying it. All should be 30 quid tops for the age it is.
project cars 2 deluxe (whole content)- 90€, raceroom premium pack (whole content)- 65€, just saying
Totally & 100% agreed with you FeltHat (great name by the way)........................ if it was now. But not $65 - no make that MUCH more for me in Australian dollars, for a 2-3 year old game that still only uses DirectX 9?
R3E generally has better drivers, let the amateurs play the other games.
It's been around for awhile, yes, but there's constant updates...so instead of pumping out a new version every year, they just continually update the existing game (which they could do the same for games like F1 2014/15/16/17 for example), including new physics models, transmission models, just added 64bit .exe, VR & Triple Monitor updates, etc. etc. It's not as if the game came out 3 years ago and they moved on...
pCars 2 offers a more complete GT3-selection (Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Renault, Acura, Ginetta, Cadillac...) and where is the ranking system, that S3S promised more than a year ago and should come soon? Raceroom feels IMO a bit EoL and likely be replaced by the upcoming GTR 3.
Leynad Jee where is the mp4-12c gt3 in pcars2, where is the R8 LMS ultra, where is the Camaro or the Mustang or the callaway Corvette? :-P
I said "more complete" not complete. The Callaway is missing, but there's a decent GTE-field with the C7.R if you want Corvette feeling. The MP4-12C was the slowest GT3-car ever and every other car got restricted to meet this standard. The 650S is better in every aspect and no reason to keep old stuff like the LMS Ultra and Ruf GT3 as well. The Z4 and SLS AMG are still in PC2 because they are still competitive on some tracks and still in use from some teams. Camaro and Mustang are not competitive or shouldn't be like the Cadillac and Ginetta in PC2 and only good for Cup-racing anyway.
Must be something wrong with my setup. I have great FFB in PC2 and don't feel this subtle nuances in Raceroom, but i can't complain with any title regarding FFB, probably thanks to the Accuforce with Sim Commander.
PS: On the handling-side of things IMO PC2 and Raceroom is especially in the GT3 very similar. You need to navigate the weight with some inertia through the corners and don't have this direct control like in AC, where the cars react immediately on any little input. I don't think that's accurate and driving PC2 and Raceroom is IMO the best. I can switch between both without adaptation and both have their strengths and weaknesses plus different track content. In the end it's all a matter of taste. But the long promised and yet missing ranking-system, the missing single-player, the missing functions in the custom championships like changing AI-strength between races all smells for me like they want to keep features for the upcoming title. pCars 2 on the other hand fixed almost all issues with the latest patch and Ian Bell promised better track-limits in Patch 4, which are still annoying. The AI seems now better balanced in pCars 2 already than Raceroom even it was shit on release. I spent more money on Raceroom than any other sim and wouldn't recommend it to newbies today.
umm no.. AI in pc2 is not even close to R3E AI imo.
I would recommend R3E to newbies because they only have to spend a very small amount of money to test it. Ok to testdrive you don't even need any money. I wouldn't recommend pcars2 to newbies, only for them to find out they don't like racing sims after spending 50 bucks. And compared to pc2, r3e has (imo) the better track roster, better looking tracks, better sounds (obviously).. and yeah.. compared to pc2 you could call r3e bugfree. :-D i think pc2 could be too much hassle for newbies, the tire model is so much advanced that it needs special attention to get a good racing experience (you know.. correct tire pressures and so...). Most reports of "broken fisics", "bad handling" and "useless ffb" etc can mostly be broken down to a wrong tire pressure. And I think the standard setups (both, loose and stable) are not very good to run out of the box.
sorry i fell asleep..
The game has nice content, good sound and nice graphics and that is were it ends. AI is clearly developed for the fast pace action racers, which has nothing to do with simulation. The cars physics are crap...period. The only physics model that is well done is the transmission - engine oscillation. Besides that cars feel flat. Another point of failure is the translation of physics into a sharp FFB Overall the FFB feels as flat as the physics model. This is a medium stereo set. YOu can turn the musics really loud but the sound quality wont get any better. This sure is not a HIFI set with low volume and high quality sound. I would set this title next to Pcars and other console titles
😂 go to sleep....
I'm sorry but no reason race room is not the best GT3 experience at all because you can't even connect to an online server and race with other people without getting there's no response from the server error and you can't even do full adjustments to the car set-up to fully utilize a GT3 race car so am I in in my opinion this is not the best Simulator for GT3 racing the best Simulator for GT3 racing is rfactor 2
Always-on DRM;
Not moddable;
Lack of rain;
Lack of night;
Expensive as hell;
No thanks. I'll keep Assetto Corsa and rFactor 2 and keep racing in leagues.
It was expensive as hell but since they do the whole pack sales 2-4 times a year now for 50 or so and you get a ton of tracks and cars with that its not really that off the price of other games along with there DLC. I think Sector 3 shot themselfs in the foot with the launch of R3E in the last 2 years or so its really changed a ton but still has its old reputation.
"Lack of rain" "Lack of night" both of which Assetto Lack. All of the newer content is completely worth the money to me because its consistently high quality where you can tell a lot of work and research went into developing it. especially since you can buy packs on sale and its considerably cheaper than iRacing. I've been playing R3E since the WIP release and the game consistently gets improved. there's's always high quality content being released and to see where it has come from since the WIP to now is actually incredible especially since its original developer Simbin had issues and turned into Sector3 Studios. Assetto Corsa is good but I actually think Race Room is better. The amount of detail and effort simbin puts into their tracks down to roadside object placement and track detail is unmatched in my opinion especially since every track is not laser scanned except the Nordschleife. The handling model is great in the newer cars and nobody has been able to match their sound quality. I love all the major sims but R3E is the best overall next to rFactor 2 imo.
@GamerMuscleVideos - They seem to be always on sale, if you go to their website you can see all the packs with a "87%" or similar number, yet they're still overpriced for the Brazilian market. If I only want one car, I'd pay more for it than for the DreamPack of Assetto Corsa which includes the Norddschleife in 3 layouts + 10 cars.
@sjoberghd
Yes, Assetto Corsa lacks rain and night, but it doesn't require me to always be online to race, it has thousands of players every day, and the pricing model is much better than on RR.
I'm not opposing the simulator's quality, I know it's top notch. But the DRM, the non-moddability, lack of rain and night racing, and really expensive packs, makes it a no-go for me. If it was cheaper and didn't have the stupid DRM I wouldn't think twice before buying content for it.
I use R3E regularily and I`d say lack of rain/night are the main cons of it. It also has a very limited mp experience since Spa is what you race 50% of the time, and too bad cuz there are more interesting tracks such as Sepang, Paul Ricard or Zolder/Imola. Now jump in rF2/PC2 and do a night/rain 30min sprint race - that is a whole another world of racing R3E lacks.

Those graphics are god awful.
Jim White That's because he's in VR mode. Normally, it looks pretty nice.
