Don’t put yourself under extra pressure with videos mate you can only do what you do the reasons I watch is because you are genuine not trying to sell something every 5 minutes and the work you do is top notch don’t be over critical with yourself mate another top video top man
Hi ya mate, I absolutely love your videos. Please do take of yourself first and don’t put yourself under too much pressure. I’ve seen too many people (including myself) crash and burn. It’s something we need to acknowledge and stop being tough guys. One video a week is better than no videos at all.
Your content totally reminds me of of my day to day as plumber Tom and that were not alone in the shit w3 have to deal with . Keep it going when you’re ready . Great stuff as always 🙌🙌
Well work out,Tom and Will be looking forward too video’s when ever you put one together have a good rest and get caught up have a great weekend Tom and enjoy your self.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴💦
Tom, just do what you can video wise, your running a busy business and working hard, your videos are the best out there in my opinion, and I guess a lot of us viewers take the effort you put in for granted. Take care 👍🚽
Thanks for the support as always Peter, the last couple of weeks have been tough, hopefully things get better. I'm sure they will, have a great weekend
Tom you produce great content and I for one really enjoy watching you resolve problems in what can only be described as shit installations. Pretty sure the ‘flexy friday plumber’ said yeah I always fit flexis - never had a problem with them. Don’t apologise for posting fewer videos - jobs got to come first.😀👍
everyone needs to vent every now and then tom, dont worry about it. dont feel obliged to do vids for us, as much as we enjoy watching ur mental health comes first. Enjoyed that rad vid, i can relate to it so well, when ur stumped, things just arnt making sense & u & ur mate sit there in silence just looking at it, been there a few times i'll tell u. Down tools for the weekend mate & hopefully we'll get a little sun to lift ur mood
Love the videos Tom. I would hate you to think you need to put yourself under extra pressure to put 2 videos out a week. What ever you decide to do, is fine Tom. Thanks for the content, a pleasure to watch.
Hi Tom ur videos r great and I learn a lot I hope u don’t stop making them but your mental state is a lot more important than videos, but I really do love your videos. Thanks again.
Great video as always Tom, really appreciate the time you spend making them and I look forward to the next. Your subs are getting closer to 10k now - well done!
Great fault finding video Tom. Go down to one Video if you need to, you need to enjoy doing these videos for us. No need to apologise, it does show all the efforts you put in to your channel. 👏👏👏👍👍
Hi Tom, one a week is enough for us, give yourself a chance. I really look forward to Friday evening but the extra one is a bonus when you can manage it. If you try to do too much, you'll stop enjoying it and then we all lose. Take care 😊.
@PlumbLikeTom your very welcome. I trained at plumbing my self in Northern Ireland. Im not plumbing everyday. But as you know its a very tricky game at times..
Hi Tom, some strange plumbing problems this week with flat flexies and valves under the floor on heating pipes etc. You do get a mixture of jobs mate, as others have said don’t put yourself under pressure with getting the films out. Whatever you manage to get out it’s ok for me, you put them out and I will watch them, no pressure Tom. Have a great weekend and as always take care.👍👍👍
Great job Tom, really good that you can record these jobs, when I was on the maintenance as a chippie years ago and if the jobs took longer than normal the Joes in the office would accuse us of swinging the lead, we were all time served in various trades and most of us were pretty conscience as you are, the nature of the job to succeed 😂 well done mate and keeping filming👍
Top stuff mate , I was working on some radiant ceiling panels today , client said they had always worked fine. Went in to the roof space. both isolating valves were turned off, and there was no water at all in the panels! They had never been tested/commissioned.
An isolator under the floor - what on earth was someone thinking about. It is a very restricted flow for a non mains system too even if it was switched on!!
I don't necessarily want a Friday night drink when I watch your vids Tom, I need one mate. I had some dodgy plumbing jobs in my time but it seems like the cowboys have honed their cowboy skills since I retired. Always love the vids, thanks mate.
Thanks for the support as always mate, I need a drink after today as well, I went back to refit some toilets after new flooring had been laid and someone had been using them in the room not plumbed in
That flexi was a shambles how do they sleep at nite lol.with regards to frequency tom just do what you can. We appreciate your efforts and the videos. Dont put yourself under pressure mate. Have a good weekend 😊
When i bung my tank i always seem to get a run of water more than whats just in the pipe. What would the reason be for that happening? Great video as usual really appreciate the extra work it takes to produce these video's.
Piece of advice pal....get urself a 17inch long socket extension for the impact driver on them tap cartridges...God send mate I do both taps in 15 mins 👍
Good tip that, I do have a proper tap splitting set that holds against itself but I rarely use it, it's a gimmick really but occasionally gets you out the muck, have a great weekend
@PlumbLikeTom haha fairplay bud Just thought I would let you know so you can give it a try to make your life easier 👌 cracking work though mate and content keep up the good graft and post enjoy you weekend too pal!
Those iso valves were closed so how did the pump act as an open end? Surely there is an open end somewhere otherwise it would have just built up rad side of the iso valve?
Drop down on the output to take the pressure off. We'll still be here to watch whenever you post something. Maybe do a short clip if things are hectic just to let us know.
Поддерживая всех, кто гордится тобой и твоей работай, скажу тебе, ты Мастер с Большой Буквы👍 Не обращай внимания на критику, она с дивана. Всегда просто говорить или писать, а не делать дела..
Great video, Tom, thanks! Only an idiot would have put that flexi in the attic. (My most hated place to work in) Looked like the pipe insulation under that floor had been chewed a bit - that cat maybe has some work to do there! I would say drop down the number of videos - it must be massively wearing to get two a week out, on top of working madly and everything else, and it seems that one a week is pretty common for most people who do similar content.
Back in the day UK water mains were woefully undersized and couldn't cope with the flow rate houses required. So they put header tanks in the houses to act as buffers. That gives you decent flow but obviously abysmal pressure unless you add a booster pump. In many places the water mains have been upgraded and you can change the installations to mains fed but not all of them.
They need to get rid of the rats / mice as they are going to chew that plastic pipe :) Regarding the videos do as you please when you put them out we will watch don't feel pressured Tom.
@@PlumbLikeTom I had a job recently it was in the country side and they had done the whole house in plastic and the mice loved it making nests next to the warm heating pipes and having a chew on them springing leaks everywhere.
Tom Just a quick question I’m just watching the hijacking of flight 601 on Netflix. I didn’t know you had gone into acting and given up your football career to become a plumber! I was sat here watching it and thought who does that remind me of! Only kidding 😂 give it a watch
Great video again mate. Out of curiosity, when you pressurised the heating pipe, why was it losing pressure if the 15mm isolation valve was turned off ???? Surely that small length of pipe to the valve would have built up pressure. Cheers
It's because we accidentally loosened the nut on the iso valve below when messing the the rad valve, either that or is was never tightened, thanks for watching mate
It was time and materials on the first job, I think I was there an hour and half, the second was just included in me fitting the boiler as the job was a quote, I could have charged extra as I couldn't possibly have for seen the problem though
Don’t put yourself under extra pressure with videos mate you can only do what you do the reasons I watch is because you are genuine not trying to sell something every 5 minutes and the work you do is top notch don’t be over critical with yourself mate another top video top man

Not from the UK so wondering what’s the reason for the header tank? Does it only do the bathroom? That water pressure is terrible.
