Camera not working in Windows 11 Fix

For those who has Lenovo laptop, there is a small slide bar just above the camera. Make sue it is slide to the right to open the camera lens. Also you can try to press the "F8" key to see if that is the cause.

Thank you. Your first two options didn't work, but then I went to my laptop manufacturer's web site to check out the drivers. The first thing that appeared was a video... Pointing out that there was a function key on my laptop's computer that disabled the camera. I pressed that and - Hey! Presto!!. Thank you for guiding me towards the solution.

I've tried all 3, for the camera setting everything is on and aloud. for device manager the camera doesn't show up as if it doesn't exist, I'm using a laptop. and the for the last one unfortunately it seems Acer's website doesn't provide a camera driver update. I have an Acer Nitro AN515-57. if anyone reading this knows "The fix" I would appreciate it.

I have tried ALL OF THESE and MORE. I have an HP, and my camera doesn't even show up as existing all of a sudden. I can't update or uninstall anything because there IS NO CAMERA anymore, so the word "camera" isn't even in my device manager area anymore.
