How to Fix Camera Black Screen Problem on Windows 11

Then in the Camera App (search Camera) right upper side i found an icon "change camera" and amazingly it worked.!

Hello: I did everything as noted, but I STILL HAVE A BLACK screen. Any other suggestions? UPDATE...I found the problem...the very small (can hardly see) swipe at top of screen. Camera had been swiped shut, but with local technician's help, swiped back and opened. VERY SIMPLE SOLUTION INDEED! Silly me!

If you're watching this video and following the tutorial and it still doesn't work, look right above your laptop camera lens and make sure there's not a switch that's covering the lens. Mine didn't work for months, and then I basically accidentally discovered that my son had moved the switch while using the computer and covered the lens

I have this issue with trying to make Nikon d3100 a streaming camera. This should work through OBS but from USB3 option it only shows black. Also when going into CAMERA from the search bar I can switch to USB3 but it shows black as well. What could be wrong? My laptop's camera is fine.
