Hello RUclips! In this video, we will show you how to fix your camera (integrated camera or dedicated camera) if it is not recognized by your laptop or computer, or if it is not working properly on your PC. This fix is meant as an easy and quick way to get your camera running again but if this doesn't work, the recommendation is to first restart your PC after all the solutions and fixes, and then try reinstalling windows. Meant for all current Windows versions: XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and of course Windows 10.

YES!!!!! I spent FOUR HOURS trying EVERYTHING mentioned here and on other channels. F8 didn't work either, but I got the idea to search for other buttons. And viola, there's a dedicated camera button over on the end near the power button. Mental breakdown definitely covers it!!

@@H3_N_Cl I tried everything and nothing worked untill i pushed the F8 key button the grey camera with the sign upon disapeared. Yet i still couldn't see myself. It had a black screen untill i saw the button above my integrated lense that i could move left/right. When i moved it, i finally could see myself again. This is so stupid but i do think there will be more people having this problem as i really didn't see the small button at first and i'm not used to it that a laptop lense can be covered.

@@damunaik4 then it must be f9, f10 or any other f keys on the laptop... Simply look for the 'no camera' / 📷 icon on all the f keys... And then when you find it on any of the f key, just gently press that key once. And then go to the camera setting and viola!!! The camera will starting functioning. Enjoy.

I had this issue and the guy at Microsoft found a newer driver on a Microsoft Update Catalog page (normal Windows update function did not found any newer driver). After updating this driver the F8 key was enabled and now I could toggle the camera on

All these days I was trying so hard to get the camera on my lappy fixed. Watched so many videos on RUclips and tried every trick. While watching your video, I was thinking "oh, come on... not again, this dude is saying the same thing." Up until in the end your said something wise... The 'Ctrl f' key on the laptop... And guess what, I pressed the 'Ctrl f10' button on my laptop which had the 'no camera' icon... And then when I opened the camera again, it worked. 😜😂

My daughter was typing on her laptop like a mad man and accidentally disabled the camera. Thanks to this solution it has fixed the problem. On my case it was Ctrl+F10, there are icons on the keys so you'd know.
